About a year ago my SUV broke down out on the highway and was towed to Aamco in Rocky Mount. I chose Aamco simply because Im from Chicago and Aamco has locations near my home in the event of a warranty issue after I returned home. My experience at the Aamco in Rocky Mount could not have been better. Dave and Adam were gracious, helpful, hospitable, friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Honestly, I was a bit surprised. Being an openly gay political activist and writer from Chicago, traveling in the South does not always mean fair or friendly treatment for me - especially in the environment of bitterness during the last election cycle. Absolutely not the case here. Dave and Adam could not have been nicer!!! Not only that, but they did excellent work and charged me a very fair price. I called around to check the quote they gave me and they were competitive with everybody else. In the time I was there, being a writer, I asked LOTS and LOTS of questions and got to know them rather well. I can say honestly say that David and Adam are genuinely good guys with a talented staff working for them. They did nothing but great by me. A year later and many thousands of miles, I am back home in Chicago and have had no issues at all with the transmission. It shifts as good as the original. And in the event I have a problem, I have a written warranty and my local Aamco is three miles away. So not only is this a five star review, but also a most heartfelt note of thanks to Dave, Adam and the whole Aamco staff. Every single one of you guys at that Aamco went above and beyond to help me "get back on the road" in one way or another, and for that I am most grateful. Youre truly a great bunch of guys and Im most grateful I broke down right where I did! Many thanks for getting me back home safely!

I took my 2006 Jeep Liberty here for a slip differential and then a front drive shaft. Each time I was told that my jeep liberty was ready for pickup I had to return it. The second time I did not even get out of the parking lot. I was told that they had test drove the jeep and there is no way because you could see or hear the problem as soon as you moved the jeep. They were being paid by my warranty. Customer serve is not there. I could not even discuss the problem with the manager because he was not the one who did the work. The mechanic had such a heavy accent that I could not understand him and got frustrated trying to speak with him. Stay away from this center.

They put in wrong part !!!! Over charged us, refuse to fix car right, had to have it towed to Dodge dealer, Aamco screwed it up so bad we had to surrender our car and was forced to buy another car!!! Aamco your dirty and Adam your nothing but a white trailer trash racist.. Aamco messed up our car bad. enough so that instead of putting another 2000.00 in we went and bought a new car.. DONT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO AAMCO ROCKY MOUNT NC, TOO MANY PEOPLE WALKING OUT WITH SAME PROBLEM AS THEY WENT IN WITH.. I HATE THEM!!! ADAM IS A RACIST!!!

Terrible... would not go there.. These guys are all about the $$ and not the customer... Adam and David are a piece of work and liars. Asked for my parts... David said to go to the dumpster and get them. Adam seems nice... but do not be fooled... as soon as i gave them my money i was asked to leave anf do not come back... $1000... then they said i had another $800 work of work... They do not really care about you... just the money...

I have had two vehicles repaired by this shop. Top notch work and pricing in my book. Could not have asked for any nicer folks to deal with. Dave and Adam really are the best! Thanks Guys!
