Took my lightly modded E46 M3 in for a shake down and uncovered some serious issues. I was hoping to just do a couple bushings, lines, and fix an exhaust mount— but we quickly found out that engine was dying and my subframe was beginning to crack. They showed me around and under the car, explaining literally every single thing they found. It was really in a sad state, and I was imposing by being caught so off guard by the imperative malfunctions. It was probably one of the worst days of my life, but because I needed to know is why I went to RRT in the first place. Alex, who managed my account, was extremely helpful. He answered all my questions and gave me awesome advice on parts, kept me updated every step of the way, and was really the perfect person to have to deal with under such unfortunate circumstances. They ended up pretty much rebuilding the entire car, fixing everything. Their pricing and workmanship is phenomenal, if you have a serious job then youre wasting money going to anyone else. You can pay Joe Blow to hunt for the wrench he had in his hand just five seconds ago while he "fixes" your car, or you can bring it to the guys that build race cars for breakfast and know the reasonable cost and time to do it right. These guys set the standard very high for any kind of business, and now Ill never take my M3 anywhere else. Bottom line, if you have a performance oriented BMW and you need anything, go here. Youll thank me later.

RRT is THE place to take your BMW. They know the cars inside and out and give the best advice for maintaining or upgrading. Theyre prices are fair and always beat the dealer. I have complete trust in their work and that Im paying for time they actually spend on the car. Ive brought my e36 m3, my wifes X3 3.0si, my 335i, and my X5 35d for various jobs and been extremely satisfied with every job small or large. They give real world advice on what is really needed and what isnt. There is no such thing as "lifetime fluid." lol. A $40/day rental car arrangement that they have makes the trek out to Dulles a no brainer. I recommend them to everyone that asks. Recently my X5 threw a CEL the day before I needed it to tow my track car to an event. RRT got the car in and repaired by the following morning and I made the event. They charged me a little over half what guys on the forums were reporting for dealer repairs for the same job. Could not ask for better service from honest and knowledgeable guys. If you need repairs or maintenance for your daily driver or you want to turbo your street car or set up/build a race car they can do it all.

Excellent Shop, the only reason I was not able to give them all 5 stars was because I went in to get my car checked because I thought it needed tires and alignment; They checked the car, it did need tires and alignment, they gave me a quote which I think was very fair and I was ready to have them order the tires and come back to get the work done; however, I was presented with a bill for approximately $150 to check the car and give me a quote, this is the first time in my history of using automobile shops where I was charged for an estimate, I would have been fine with it if I was told before they took the car that there was going to be a charge to check it out and give me an estimate, Just dont like being surprised thats all.......but the shop and quality of work seems to be excellent and they will be installing my tires and doing the alignment on my car, they just need to tell their customers there is going to be a charge for a service before they actually perform the work and just present them with the bill.

I brought my CLK BS to RRT under a friends recommendation. They didnt disappoint. Mike and Wayne and their team did a great job installing the parts, and did a great corner balance and alignment. When the ride changed significantly afterwards, they worked on the problem carefully and even did shock dyno tuning for me. The car is better sorted now, overall a great experience. They are a full race shop with very knowledgeable staff. Theyre here to help you go faster on the track, not to sell you things just to make a profit. Very friendly and responsive: the phone never have to ring twice before someone picks up. They also dont back down from problems or avoid responsibility: they meet it head on and try their best to fix it. You can go to any shop to get an oil & lube, but if you actually care about your car and want the best, go to RRT. I know I will.

I took my 2001 e46 here, and my 2001 540i6 Sport. They are very knowledgeable about the technology, the characteristics of the cars, and are straightforward, honest and capable. They are able to answer very detailed questions, and they know the idiosyncracies of the vehicles, the parts, the fluids, etc. that are so crucial to managing a BMW. I trust them to do what is necessary, to not flag anything that is not necessary, and to charge a fair rate for work. Along with Alexandria Bavarian Service, which is at this point geographically undesirable for me, this is my favorite BMW specialty place.

I had my Grand Cherokee SRT lowered and new tires balanced, mounted, and aligned at RRT. They took the car in on the appointment date and had it returned to me the next day, as promised. A lot of shops turned me down on the work - saying that it would be too difficult. RRT was suggested to me by a buddy, and I couldnt be more happy with the work done there. I live in DC, and getting out to Sterling is a hassle. That said, Ill never have anyone work on my car outside of RRT again for performance work!

Great shop. Explained everything they were going to do to my car and very upfront with the price and rates. Another touch, which I believe is sorely lacking in general with customer service was that they left my car in better condition than when I dropped it off. They vacuumed the interior and washed the exterior, even shining the wheels! Mind you, they werent fixing anything on the inside of my car. If you have BMW go here for anything you cant do yourself!

Had an excellent experience between Alex (frontman) and all of the techs I spoke with. Brought them my E36 M3 that is in really sad condition and they sorted out a guibo and center driveshaft support in absolutely record time. As well as including a military discount and giving me advice for future maintenance. No matter what you need on a bmw I would never trust anyone but RRT to do the work. I will be recommending them to all of my friends! Great shop!

awesome shop, great guys, top of the line work! Ive had my E92 in there several times for performance upgrades as well as routine maintenance, never disappointed. You wont find a more knowledgeable group of BMW specialists, and a really nice team to do business with. I was just in there yesterday and got an alignment completed on their brand new, state of the art Hunter Hawk Eye alignment system, cool stuff!
