Never going back after this experience because of the terrible - and in my personal opinion - corrupt service. Mechanic removed an unnecessary part from my wifes car during an oil change only to discover that "the last guy who changed the oil must have broken it" and that Id need to replace it. When I confronted the owner about it he said "if you know how to do an oil change why didnt you do it yourself!" While he repeatedly insisted that I was calling him and his staff liars and assuring me that he would not be held responsible for the part. Come to find out, after 4 hours of being there, that they had access to a machine that could fix the part - why was this not my first option??? While I was there I also witnessed the way a number of other customers were treated poorly - one customer asked about the price of a part being more expensive there than online and the owner said "you can get a steak at the grocery store for $5 but if you go to outback its $20... Thats business!"

Beyond angry and upset with this particular establishment. Took my 2015 traverse here, waited 2 hours for a state inspection to be done at 8 am (when it wasnt busy at all), only for it to come back as failed. They said it was my tie rods and that they would charge $350 to fix it. I have a warranty on the car so I took it to the Chevy dealership to have them fix it, only to find out there was nothing wrong with the car at all. Just to be sure, I took it to a third location to see what they would say and they too said nothing was wrong. I now truly believe they tried to get me to pay for something that wasnt broke. Other than that, floors and the bathroom are extremely dirty. Looks like they havent swept, mopped, vacuumed the small rugs, or wiped anything down ever. For it to be dirty at 8 am when they open at 730 am is just ridiculous. I wouldnt take my car back or recommend that anyone take theirs to this establishment.

I took my 2001 Toyota 4Runner to the local dealer for a VA state safety and emissions inspection, which it failed due to a hole in one of the exhaust pipes. Dealer quoted me $1600 because they claimed they couldnt repair only the damaged pipe. They said they had to replace the whole system to include the catalytic converter ($$$$) which was fine. Took it to another place for a second estimate which was almost the same as the dealer. I then tried Meineke and was told they could cut and weld only the bad section and use the rest of my existing system at a price of only $278!!! Thet did it and my vehicle then passed! Additionally, THEY asked ME if I was military or law enforcement (which I am), and they gave me an additional discount! This was my first time using Meineke and I will definitely use them again! They earned a customer for life!

This place is horrible!!!!! This was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had. All I needed was a state inspection. I called in advance to ask about the wait time. I was told it wasnt a wait but to ensure I was there by 3:00 pm. I arrived at 2:45 pm but my car didnt begin to be serviced until 3:25. It actually sat in the bay for 20 minutes prior to a mechanic, beginning. While sitting in the waiting room, I heard total unprofessional conversation. The staff began talking about a dirty diaper in the bathroom, and if anyone picked it up to smell it. I felt as though I was being "punked". I would not recommend this facility to anyone who has the least bit of maturity.

My experience in this shop has been nothing less than stellar. I took my vehicle in for service for a rack and pinion and exhaust system replacement and they ended up servicing the vehicle faster than the qouted time. The guys at the service desk love talking shop and you can tell they are passionate about what they do. They will even install user-supplied parts, which is a major plus if you know what youre getting and understand they will not warrant the part. Best thing is that they dont jerk you around with selling you parts or services you dont need. This is one of very few repair shops I actually trust in the fredericksburg/stafford area. I will return to them.

This place has the worst customer service in person and over the phone. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change because there was an hour and a half wait. I came in the next morning at my scheduled appointment time and waited over an hour for them to get my car back and then another hour for the oil change. I called to schedule an appointment for inspection and emissions and the lady said "We cant do that by state law!" Apparently, she was trying to say that they cant take appointments but she had to clarify that because I didnt know whether they couldnt do inspections or what her problem was. I will NEVER go back to this place again!

I had my rear brakes and rotors installed here, took about 4 hours. Needless to say I still hear grinding when backing up and have made 2 appointments to give Stafford meineke the opportunity to correct the issue. Neither appointment could be honored by Stafford meineke after waiting almost 2 hour both times. I have given up on Stafford meineke fixing the issue. Do not learn the hard way as I did, just find a different shop to have services preformed.

I went in with my old truck makin all kinds of noises and expected it to be thousand of dollars and the staff was very friendly and honest and explained what my old truck needed and I was really happy that it just needed brakes... Wow thanks again Stafford Meineke. And got it done quickly as well. You did show some other work that was clearly needed and tires are worn out. Ill be sure to recommend you and will return soon for the other repairs.

Took my Pontiac Solstice to the shop to put some new rims on and careless removal of the first set of rims broke the PSI sensors. I contacted them and let them know that my sensors werent responding after the rim change they denied responsibility. This was over a year ago, for some reason my other review was removed. Id be willing to change this review if they respond to this and fix the issue.

I will never return to this establishment. Was quoted for my service over the phone and when I showed up he wanted to charge me more than double my quote for non quoted "labor". In the end I didnt pay for the extra labor after a lengthy discussion but would rather pay my hard earned money to folks who are up front and honest.
