Skilled plumbers (john) but the owners need to be able to take constructive criticism. have used them before and they knew of the upcoming 3-4 thousand dollar sewer pipe job. New well house and water lines, and more work needed for developing a new development. Needed a new faucet installed, which was not a rush job. They had an opening due to cancellations and decided to do it the same day we discussed the new work. Charged me an hour labor for the worker to drive around town to find parts. (70.00) as well as a service call fee. To install a faucet, 2 feet from the main water pipe shut off ended up 412.22. I sent them a note about the fee to drive around town and the service fee: " Not Happy with billing Was not in a hurry for the outdoor faucet to be installed Had John come out to discuss future work on sewer (3-4K) for me, as well as the faucet. Last one installed was 350.00 and 30 ft from water connection. Had him meet new customer which is new work for you (250-300) John called and stated I was being charged for 1 hour of his time to drive around town looking for a faucet which could have been ordered and delivered next day. Service call fee too? " I am happy with what your company and John have done for us and will use you again, but will scrutinize your billing even more. and they replied: " Ill comment for all of us. I found your email to be rude and whining. After showing it to the owner and John, we decided you must have been having a bad day and did not respond to it. However, after receiving your comment today with your check, I decided you have a lot of bad days. >>>>txt>>> We have been in business over 25 year, and pride ourselves in fair and competitive prices and doing quality work. I am sorry we have not satisfied you. However, you do not have to worry about any future service calls. There are many plumbers in Haywood County, please call one of them in the future. We thank you for your past business and wish you nothing but success and happiness. " I was fired from hiring them........ Being a developer, this is a first........ Wish them the best

The plumbing services offered are top-notch! I have no complaints about the work that was performed, or the price charged. However, as mentioned elsewhere, the ownership is terrible! The plumbers finished my rough-in in May, and told me they would be back in 1-2 weeks to do the finish work. After 3 weeks of waiting, I received a hateful voicemail from the woman who runs their billing. She demanded payment (for half of a completed job) and refused to schedule the finish work. This was not part of my agreement with the plumbers, but I paid her anyway. She was incredibly rude to my staff and myself, and made a point to tell me that they had called the town inspectors to remove their plumbers from my building permits. So, after three weeks of holding my job hostage, I now have to find a new plumber and pull a new permit. The lack of professionalism this woman demonstrated was shocking. In the future, I will deal with any company other than Western Carolina Plumbing!

Steve at Western Carolina Plumbing has winterized and dewinterized our home for at least three years now. He checks on the home and he lets us know of any problems that might have been incurred in our absence. We are very thankful for Steve and Western Carolina Plumbing. Always courteous and helpful with large and small jobs--even making sure that the municipality fixed a problem on their dime rather than ours when a problem was caused by that municipality.
