I originally called Chris on Monday, August 3rd. to take care of a minor plumbing issue in one of my rental properties. He came out and gave me an estimate on the 4th. I agreed to have him do the work and told him that he could start immediately. He told me that he would be finished by that Wednesday night (the 5th) no later than the morning of the 6th. I made him aware that I didnt care as long as it was done before the afternoon of Friday, the 7th. The agreement was that he was going to do the work and we were going to have an inspector from the water company come out to make sure it was up to code and then he was to receive payment. You can have an inspector from the water company on site within an hour as long as you call them before 3 oclock on Friday afternoon. He called me on Friday, the 7th at 5 oclock (when I was on the way to a closing for another rental property) to tell me that he was almost finished and needed me to come out to pay him. I asked him if the inspector had came out or was on the way, his told me no, but he needed his payment regardless. He told me that if it wasnt up to code, that he would come out on Monday and fix it. I told him that he would have to wait until after I got out of my closing, then I would bring him a check. He then told me that he will not except a check or any other form of payment other than cash, also he was going to rip the pipe out and tear the plumbing out if I didnt get there with cash immediately. It sounded pretty fishy when he refused to allow an inspector to go over his work and that he would not take a company check. Keep in mind that also, I had bought all of the materials for the job. As soon as I left the closing, I headed directly to the property and I had discovered that he had taken all of the materials and also, sawed the main water line off and ripped a few other pipes out of the wall. As of now, he will not answer the phone or return my calls. I have been forced to file criminal theft and vandalism charges as well as civil charges. He stole about $300 worth of materials and caused another $2-300 worth of damages. he was only charging me $200 to do the job in the first place. Beware, do not let this happen to you, I took the time, typing this long review in hopes that I can save people from a similar experience.

I would not hire this guy again. I should have done my homework. Hiring guys like this makes me realize I should probably pony up and pay for Angies list. Asked him to come out and do some simple jobs I didnt have time for. I asked his hourly over the phone and he replied "well discuss when I review the job". I was not here, my wife was, when he showed up. I believe he charged me double what he should have. Just because you have two people show up for the job does not mean you get to charge $90/hour for each person. Thank goodness for the internet to vent and hopefully save the next person from the same poor experience.

2 stars for being responsive and getting the job done. He loses points by showing up in flip flops, basketball jersey, and shorts, he had to go to a parts store twice since he didnt have it with him...and HE MAY NOT BE LICENSED!!! BE ALERT!! I had emergency work done just after Xmas and he has still not contacted my home warranty company to provide credentials.

NEVER AGAIN!!! He is so UNPROFESSIONAL!!! He showed up wearing gym shorts and flip flops. HE SMELLED SO BAD I COULD HARDLY STAND IT!!!!! GET A DENTIST!!!! Or at least buy a tooth brush!! He overcharged for the few minutes of work needed. I paid because we needed it done that day and so he would leave. HEs HORRIBLE!!!!!!!

I was sure that I had to have a new hot water tank and no one seemed to care. I went thru a referral site and the put me in contact with Chris. He was upfront about cost and came late evening n fixed my current tank and didnt sink me for a ton of money!!! Glad I ended up getting Chris he was awesome!!!!
