I hate being taken advantage of and/or taken for a ride. The owner will use the cheapest thing he possibly can and charge you the most for it. Beware if you are a female going to this shop. He treats the male customers with respect but the women he uses as much as possilbe. He charged me $350 for brakes and machining of my rotors. For 3 months after that my brakes still squealled, so when I took them back, he said that some vehicles did that and supposedly sprayed something on them to make them stop, but that didnt work. I then took it to the Meineke on Market and had the best service. They replaced the cheap brakes with the appropriate ones and now my brakes dont make that squealling sound anymore. Meinekes may be a chain, but each store is owned by franchisees who can do what ever they want to you and your vehicle. Dont go here at all if you are female.

I was 1000 miles from home when my car started acting up and I knew I needed to get it looked at, but where do you go? Who can you trust? I chose Meineke because they are a chain, but I couldnt have been happier! I told David of my problem and that I was from out of state. He was able to get me in right away so I didnt waste any travel time; he also checked a few other things to make sure my car was up to snuff. And when I returned home he called me to make sure I made it safely. So, if you need someone you can trust, someone that cares about their customers, go see David at the Meineke on Carolina Beach Road.

I needed to get my muffler replaced and a tail pipe added. I only had a two hour window and Dave said he would make it happen. I already bought the muffler and for them to install it and add hangers and a tail pipe it was just under $150. Fair price, quality work. Fast turnover. Some dude came in and got a quote for a new tire mounted and balanced it it was like $95 and he was acting like he was being gouged but it was a very reasonable deal. Dave knows his stuff. He kind of has an edge but does a good job.

I heard a noise in my car so I went to this location and saw the guy at the counter named Dave. He was very rude to me. I feel he did not like me because I am a woman. He talked down to me like I was dumb. I cant understand in 2015 a man would talk like this to a woman customer. I will never do business with him. Girls stay away from this place. He acted lie I should be in the kitchen, barefoot,and pregnant.

These women had it bad with this Meinke and this Dave guy. Well walk in my shoes. I am a gay Black man who is married to a gay Latino sexy man. Dave tried to give us the shaft on our car. I will never go back to this place he is very very bad. and a real mean person as well. What a nasty temper. Be careful. Why cant we just all love one another in this world???Too much hate...

Meineke supports veterans and gives oil changes on Veterans Day. They gave me a card to use at a later date, since it was so late in the day. It was completely free, and the guys were all extremely nice and accommodating. Everything was done quickly and professionally, and nobody tried to sell anything extra to me.

I was referred by Custer Auto Repair ( Excellent Mechanics!) for a Catalytic Converter replacement for my Ford Crown Victoria. I was given a very fair price, treated with respect and courtesy, and given high quality work...what more could you want? I will go back if needed.

If you are a woman.... RUN! Dropped $750 and a week later had to take it back and was quoted another $450.00 for spark plugs. Luckily I have my dad...... never ever again will I go here, ever! ---update---- just got the exact same estimate.... $250.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently had a muffler put on at this location and I found the staff to be extremely nice and helpful, I was not as happy with the work but I have to say thats is because I am being picky I would next time specify what I want

I can vouch for the quality of their work here. Davids a good guy, everyone there has always treated us right every time we go. Its good to have a shop you can depend on. I would recommend them to anyone.

Haha yeah they told me they knew what it was, coded and diagnosed, charged me for fixing it and the problem lives on, check engine light is as bright orange as everrrrr. Do. Not. Go. Here.
