This facility is now threatening me with a lawsuit for the collection of $26.62 & court costs/lawyer fees for taking me to court. DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THEM. THEY ARE DECEPTIVE! I actually really liked going here but Im moving & I also dont go anymore so I no longer need my membership. The problem arose when I spoke with the club manager to cancel my membership.Mid-late July I called the facility & notified them I wanted to cancel my membership. The conversation went well, even though I hadnt been to the property in close to 2 months I understood that by not canceling sooner I was subject to the 30 day notification policy & would be required to make a payment even though I would not be using the club. The woman I spoke with did not once mention needing to have written confirmation of cancellation & at the end of our conversation even remarked about the specific date my membership would be void stating that I had until the end of August to use the facility. Today I received a bill via email & in an effort to ensure I would not be charged again I emailed back stating I had called & cancelled mid-July & was just confirming that this would be the last charge. The response I received was a forwarded email from the end of July stating that if I had wanted to cancel I had to respond to the email thus providing written confirmation. As I had never seen the email before I searched my email account & found it in my spam folder. So Julie Goodchild, club manager, informed me by way of this forwarded email that since I had not responded to the cancellation email the best she could do was make my cancellation effective September 15 & pro-rate my month of September. After receiving the email I called & spoke with Julie who was the woman who had verbally confirmed my cancellation via telephone. When I stated that I did not remember her once indicating over the phone that my membership was not actually cancelled she became defensive. She stated she could not change the terms of a signed agreement as it was legally binding. Yet she was able to change the terms in order to pro-rate the month of September? I have not used the facility in 2-3 months & Julieeven admitted she remembered me canceling. The only defense she had was raising her voice & saying "did you not see the email!?" & "weve NEVER had this problem before".To say the least she was unprofessional & its a little disgusting considering Ive not incurred ANY cost for them in the past few months aside from billing. Not a great way to run a business that is geared towards making you feel at home.

HORRIBLE!!!! I am disgusted with how I was treated by the staff at Cincinnati Sports Club. I held my daughters 3rd birthday at their facility. I signed a contract to have the gymnastic room, the rec gym and a party room. When I arrived I was treated poorly and told I was not getting the rec gym, and that I only agreed to the Gymnastic room. I pulled out my contract to inform them it wasnt true. All i got was an apology, and told I couldnt have the rec gym. So we continued with the party. My party facilitator, did not help, besides clean up. Toddlers were in the Gymnastic room, running all over the place and swinging off bars.It was so dangerous, while the facilitator was standing outside the door. I had to host and facilitate my daughters party, and I didnt get to show up and enjoy myself like I should have. So I contact the Supervisor a couple days after the party, to inform her of my experience and the breach of contract. I only asked for a lousy $80 back of the $240 I spent. She was rude and said I could only get $50 back and she wouldnt charge me for going over my party time. So we asked her to review their camera to prove we did not go over our party time. She said she would call us back after she reviewed the tape. It has been over a week and NOTHING!!! When I asked for $80 I was only asking for the rec gym that we did not receive. i was being nice, since our party facilitator did not do her job. I will NEVER SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS AGAIN!

I do not recommend enrolling any child in their summer camp program, or any program where the kids are under the supervision of the staff there. Yesterday my husband went to pick up my daughter from the KidSport summer camp, and not only was she not at the pick up area, none of the counselors knew where she was or that she had been missing! The head counselor didnt even know who our daughter was or what she looked like. It was eventually discovered that they had left her in the pool area for at least 15-30 minutes, unsupervised. (She is not a very good swimmer!) Apparently they did not do a head count, roll call, or anything of that nature when leaving the pool area. There were other safety precautions that werent taken as well. When dropping her off I asked that she be put in a life vest, flotation belt, etc. since she wasnt a good swimmer. They tied a NOODLE around her waist, which she said came off shortly afterwards. This club is VERY sloppy and disorganized when it comes to kids and I strongly recommend that children are kept out of any of the programs where they are under the supervision of the staff if a parent is not present. The organizational problems run far too deep for this to be fixed easily and it puts the safety of the children at risk.

I would definitely not recommend playing indoor soccer here. The 5v5 aspect was really a lot of fun and I wouldve loved to come back, but there were too many reasons to avoid: Getting ahold Kevin, the Sports and Activity Manager, is like trying to get ahold of a Time Warner Cable representative. The scheduling was atrocious. We had 3 weeks off in a row, then a double-header playing the same team twice in a row. Not only was it lame scheduling, it was poorly planned. The week of our double-header, I was out of town for a family members surgery. I came back early for the games and it turned out that the field was double booked for a kids practice. PEOPLE HAVE LIVES! Whats funny is that I emailed Kevin asking about the scheduling, thinking it looked like something was up, but he never got back to me. Lastly, they advertise that the field is updated with new turf; however, this turf is very dangerous. There is hardly any rubber, so you slide all over the place. If youre a coach prospecting practice facilities, this is the last place I would have kids practice. The location is convenient for a lot of people and the 5v5 is a cool concept, but neither is worth the danger of the field nor the ineptitude of the staff.

Club administration should have a working protocol to keep the basketballs in decent condition. I pay for a family membership and count on the kids rec gym being in decent enough condition for my kids to play basketball in while I get a quick workout in. But walk into both the main gym and the kids rec gym and see the numerous woefully underinflated and worn-down basketballs. The vast majority of the stock is in terrible condition. A few months ago I mentioned it to a club rep. She filled out a "customer comment card." A few weeks after our initial conversation, new, well-inflated basketballs appeared, but now, just a couple months later, we are back to square one. The vast majority of the basketballs are in terrible condition again. To the clubs credit, they keep the gym and the bathrooms very clean by sending someone around regularly to mop. How about assigning one of their employees to walk over to the two racks (one in each gym) once a day to keep the basketballs in playable condition and put new balls into rotation as needed?
