Hola mi Amigos!
Changing my review from 5 stars. This gym has become last resort for me. Ive been a member since their build out gym location which I will add I liked much better than the current way they run their gym. It is every other month I get extra money taken out of my account then they have to refund it back and I could deal with that no problem exept it is very often I have one of the trainers kick me off of the machines because they have "classes" about to start. More often than not those classes dont start for 5 minutes after then dont consist of the machine I was thrown off of. Today I was doing land mine pressing with a barbell and the trainer kicked me off so I timed it. 6 minutes and 38 seconds later (Plenty of time to get my last 2 sets in) they started a class doing push ups in front of the barbell swivle... Because theres no room anywhere else in the gym to do push ups? Come on. I pay money to use your equipment so you shouldnt be kicking me off of it. Currently looking for a new gym where the workers arent an annoyance.

The facility has several aspects that make CRUNCH an excellent choice from a price point perspective. First, they have a very competitive yearly membership price for the services and equipment provided. (Child care, hydro massage, spin classes, fitness classes)Recent improvements include Free wifi and paper towels in the locker rooms. With that said CRUNCH does have more room for improvement.I believe that their membership numbers have exceeded their expectations with regard for the size of the facility. CRUNCH could benefit from a utilization report of which equipment is used most and which is used less and adjust inventory appropriately. Other suggestions would include adding the spin classes to be included with premium membership. At the time of this review spin classes are not included with premium membership. No gym is ever going to make everyone happy. With all that said CRUNCH is the best bang for your buck if you looking for a gym on the East Side.

Decent enough gym. I am a transfer member from the Fitworks days. I loved it at first. Anymore it is too crowded. I havent been able to get on a bench in 3 weeks. Between being too crowded and trainers hogging the equipment clearly in open areas of the gym, it is time to look for a new spot. I would like to find a gym that looking at paying members the all the same and didnt give presedent to "trainers". It makes you feel like just because you dont pay for or need to pay for additional services they dont place the same value on your membership and give those with paid training sessions presedent on what would appear to be otherwise common use equipment and space. Not a good policy IMO and not something I have experienced at other facilities.

The Company continues to charge my credit card twice a month. The monthly fee and then a second charge that is not in accordance with the terms of the agreement. I have politely asked them on numerous occasions to stop the second charge. Every time I talk to a person at the front desk the person agrees I should not be charged the second amount and they will look into it and fix it. It has been six months and they continue to charge my card for amounts that everyone agrees should not be charged to me. Would simply like them to correct the problem.

Decent equipment. Great group classes and trainers. Decent cardio equipment. They are VERY busy. Which makes it hard to use some pieces of equipment I wish they were a little larger so that they could have more bench presses, leg press machines, and squat racks. They do have childcare, BUT your child has to be able to walk. So parents of young babies or late walkers, this is not the place for you to join unless you plan to work out separately.

Coming from Planet Fitness, and I love it at CRUNCH. The sign up was easy. They set you up a free session with a personal trainer. I was with Jacoby and he was super helpful. They have child care. The tanning beds are new and really powerful. Its clean and has a good energy. Seems to be less expensive than typical gyms. What more could you ask for?

Ridiculous customer service. Unresponsive management. Not enough equipment for the crowd. Saw their obese "trainer" have a novice client engage in very unsafe movements... and then both left the equipment without reracking the weights. And I thought Planet Fitness was a circus... they dont compare to these clowns.

Typical gym. No WiFi! Said "building owner" wont let them. Dont believe it. They already have internet for POS and computers they are using. Too cheap to pay for it.

A huge upgrade from the FitWorks that was on Beechmont. The only thing they are missing is WiFi.
