Ive finally found a computer repair store with excellent service! My 10-yr old computer was behaving badly 2 weeks ago. In the past i"ve had bad experiences with so-called "computer repair stores." The customer service would be atrocious! I didnt know what to do, so I googled and hoped for the best. This store came up with 5 stars. I read the other reviews and decided to give this business a try. Wow! Im so happy that I did. I called first and the owner (Jim) was very polite and courteous. Later that day I went to Cincinnati Computer to see if it could be repaired. Jim told me that he would let me know the next day what the problem is. Sure enough Jim called to inform me the motherboard had died, it would be expensive to repair, considering the parts are not replaceable. He referred me to the Micro Center and gave me his recommendations on the best computers to consider to purchase. I bought a replacement there and Jim transferred the old files to the new computer free of charge! He even gave me a ethernet cord for my modem! Wow! Jim is what customer service should be. I would refer this store to anyone. Best experience Ive ever had from a computer repair shop!

Life is good with GCC. I have been with Jim for approximately 10 years. I followed him to his new company - GCC - when he left another computer company. They do my company and personal IT support from security cameras to laptops to desktops. No software - hardware issue has every stumped them. Their turn around time with expedited service is supurb. They have taken me through at least 4 hardware upgrades, champaigne spilled on keyboards and protected my sons from the dangers of the internet by locking them completely out of inappropriate websites-thank you. My data is my business and they have the knowledge and skill to keep me in business. They can handle eveything from setting up your business or personal infrastructure to advising on the next laptop or printer. I never purchase any hardware without checking with them first. They have never failed me. I just spent three weeks with Cincinnati Bell trying to find out why my outlook calendar would not synch with my blackberry. They uninstalled, reinstalled, changed, resynched. Steve solved the problem in half an hour. I obviously highly recommend you try them.

Amazing, honest service. I had dropped my laptop and took it to a local store (in Oxford, OH about an hour from these guys). The store basically looked at it and wanted to charge me labor just to see if they could possibly fix it. I took it to Jim and Steve and the ordered the new screen then took it apart to look at every single detail of the computer. Once every option was exhausted, they gave me all of the salvageable parts of the laptop to sell on ebay and apologized for not being able to fix it. They then waived any labor fees. It was the best service possible and they went above and beyond to try and fix the laptop, to the point where they were ordering parts for something that I had pretty much destroyed before I brought it in. I know GCC lost some time/money trying to repair the laptop, but the gained a lifelong customer.

I took my Dell Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit computer in with a Blue Screen issue on Friday, and they had it fixed by end of day Monday. Before I brought it in, my computer was so trashed, that I could not even highlight SafeMode or navigate to the control panel to uninstall the suspected problem program. My computer just rebooted over and over in a continuous loop, with no response to keyboard or mouse, until I pulled the CPU plug. I was afraid they would have to wipe the hard drive and do a full reinstall. But I had not backed up for 6 months! I asked them to attempt to fix the issue. They resolved the issue in one working day, no loss of programs or data, and for half of the price I was anticipating. Matt and Jim rock! You will not be disappointed if you go there.

Ive been going to CC for several years now. Jim has provided me with estimates for an insurance claim, repaired my laptops keyboard after my dog danced on it, debugged several of my computer systems, and provided me with the buzz words that I would need to get service escalated when dealing with a manufacturer. He has also provided support and service to the school and staff where I worked. The service has always been top-notch, reasonably priced, and done in a timely manner. Seven computers later and Im still coming back and recommending him to my friends.

I work as the IT guy of a small company. We had a serious hardware failure on the computer we use for our daily business (shipping, cc transactions, etc.) when the hard drive broke. These guys were great, they got the computer back to us in two days and had all the old programs re-installed. They really took the time to understand our small business needs and get us the service we needed in a very timely manner. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for excellent computer repair, customer service, and a speedy turnaround time.

I have had problems with my laptop and Jim and Steve have always got me back up and running in record time (usually in less than a day). I have looked at other services and they all wanted the laptop for approx 5 days and wanted to charge double the amount Greater Cincinnati Computer does. I use my computer in my business and so quality, speed, and cost of repairs is of utmost importance. They also take the time to explain things in laymans terms. Thanks guys. You obviously understand what it takes to be a 5 star business.

I live in Tampa and could not talk my parents through fixing the difficulty they were having with thier computer. I called GCC and spoke to the owner Jim, and he was at my parents house within an hour. It was a God send! Being so far away, I wasnt sure what kind of service they would receive, but they were THRILLED! Jim certainly took care of them and now they use GCC for all of thier computer needs. These guys are weirdly good. It doesnt matter what you throw at them, they can handle it. Ive had problems with my GPS, my clamshell net book and my home PC. Yes, I have to pay for parts and for labor, but the money Ive saved by not having to buy new equipment is well worth it. And theyre quick. Its rare that folks know how to do their job. Its also rare when folks provide good customer service. But when you get those two together -- knowledge and great customer service -- what else can you ask for?
