I paid over a hundred dollars a month to store my things in floor space smaller than the stalls in most public bathrooms. Then, 9 months later, when I went to get my things, my furniture and boxes were covered in mold, mildew, and animal droppings. The insurance I paid for for those same 9 months? It covered NONE of those things. What a surprise. This has been a frustrating, difficult, expensive lesson. Not only will I never store anything at that facility again, I will caution everyone I know against it. I would have been better off selling what I could, and donating the rest to charity shops, before I considered U-Haul Moving & Storage at Lorain Avenue a good option.

The service there is okay. What I hate the most is that when you buzzed to get help to go into the storage area, sometimes someone answers the buzz or you have to go to the front of the store to get help. This might be acceptable when the weather is good but it is not acceptable when the weather is bad. There is always a problem getting into storage and if the store is closed you are just out of luck because when you call the number that is listed on the door they tell you to contact the store manager the next day.

Staff was great, however the way the units are built leaves a whole lot left to be desired. Very low ceiling and extremely small entry doors to the units. If youre storing small boxes this place is great, anything else I suggest you go to another facility

This is one of the larger U-Haul locations Ive used. They were very efficient when I dropped the trailer off. Overall the customer service was good. One person I worked with was very friendly, the other was all business but very efficient.

Great place to get your propane tanks filled! Knowledgeable staff that wont let people fill expired time bombs. Check the dates on your tanks folks! If your tank looks like you pulled it out of the ocean its time to get a new one.

Its a larger location. Have used them a few times, no problems. Bonus that their propane station will fill your tank and only charge for what you use.
