My experience with MasterWorks Automotive was as perfect as I could have imagined and somehow even better. They are a testament not only to the automotive skill and industry, but are a sterling example of how best to run a business as well as show unquestioned integrity and helpfulness as people. MasterWorks is a fantastic resource in the Cleveland area that I was fortunate enough to be near when my truck ran into issues. I was visiting family over the holidays, traveling from the most nearby area of NY state. Although I was only a few hours away from home I ran into the first major issue my truck has ever experienced during my ownership and was left to research where best to tow my truck for what at worst seemed to be transmission issues. I was well aware that being out of state and having only a day to return home to work I was in a challenging position with few options. All recommendations led to MasterWorks being my first choice and I called first thing in the morning to explain the situation and gather an idea of what timetable I could be looking at. Boruch and Rick provided me with some of the best customer service I have ever received at any business in any field. They made a point of getting my truck in with no appointment-first thing in the morning and worked to the close of their workday to have my truck running better than ever-fixed, tuned, and cleaned. Not only did they quickly discover and fix the issues at hand, but were able to determine quickly that the transmission was not truly the issue and be incredibly honest when I was prepared to pay for far more expensive work. They are simply that honest and helpful to a complete stranger. This type of experience not only helped me in the short term to expertly fix my vehicle, but the provided me with an out of state two year warranty on their work by no request. They got me back home and to work lightning fast to keep me financially on track and charged me only for necessary work at a modest labor cost compared to other shops I have used over the years. I sincerely believe they posses every quality to be desired not only in their industry, but for business and most importantly as good natured, skilled, helpful and honest people that are making this world and their community a better place. Thank you so much and all the best to you in the future!

MasterWorks overall did a good job. If it werent for the lack of time management I would have given them five stars for service. The actual location isnt the best and the whole area looks kind of sketchy but the two were very nice. I couldnt stand the smell of dog and smoke in the shop but they got the job done. I was starting to think that maybe things would not work out. We were told that the job would only take 1 hr and I gave details as to what type of vehicle I had and ended up paying more because they "thought" that the part that I would be bringing in would be something different. Im not sure how that is since I told them what kind of car I had. So they made me pay more because they somehow werent expecting what part I had and also it took longer. I was told that they could pick me up a new part with a lifetime warranty and they had just talked to the warehouse that they worked with. They went to get the part and they said it was closed by the time they got there...not sure how they closed when they were just talking to them and told them that theyd be down. So Im just glad that in the end they were still able to repair my part and that my car is running again. If I werent so desperate, I might have been harder on them because they had me waiting 3 hours when I had to be to work at 7am but the part is working and I am mobile. I definitely could have still given them a 3 star at most but whatever....You be the judge.

When I first found this shop I questioned if they really deserved a 5 star rating (Im a bit of a pessimist). However, I thought I would give them a shot and I am very glad I did. I have an older pickup and needed some transmission and rear end work but before spending a few thousand I wanted to get an idea of what I might be looking at down the road. Boruch and his team took the time to look over my truck and let me know everything they could find that might pose a problem. The team took time to explain what the problems were, common issues with my make/model, and what I could expect out of each service they recommended. I am somewhat handy so there were a few things I thought I could do myself and rather than tell me not to, they advised me of common mistakes that people make and even what brands of parts they have the least issues with. Masterworks has an experienced staff (I think Rick has been working on trucks like mine for 20-30 years) who really know their stuff. Add to that a patient person like Boruch who asks questions and takes the time to make sure his customers fully understand everything and you can see why this shop is a gem. We all know how hard it is to find an honest and genuine shop that charges reasonable prices and does quality work. The good news is that if youre reading this review, you just found the best in town.

I had a bad brake line that needed repaired. Every shop I went to was qouting 400 just for the line repair. MasterWorks price was 250, however they felt the fuel line next to it was also so rusted it would need repaired also. I had the car towed in and they were a little backed up but the mechanic took the extra time to make sure I got the car back ASAP. They were able to make the repair without disrupting the fuel line so I saved 150.00 bucks(awesome!). The guy at the front desk you can also tell is very passionate about his work. He took the time to explain to me what was wrong with the car and why it was important to repair it immediately. He had me stand up under the car (scary, but necessary) on the lift and showed me exactly what was going on. He also explained that the brake line was replaced with copper instead of steel so it will never rust out again. Overall I was very satisfied with the service. I dropped the car late Tuesday afternoon and had it back first thing Friday morning (and I do mean first thing, lol). With me not knowing much about cars and repairs I feel comfortable that this shop will not take advantage. This is my second time using their service and they will remain my go to shop for repairs.

I was in visiting my old hometown from Boston and needed a quick turnaround on two car repairs plus an oil change. My parents, who still live in the Heights, had been using the same repair guy for decades, as had I whenever I was in town, but hes retired and they told me to call Boruch. Great call! He worked with my tight schedule to find a time to service the car, diagnosed a problem accurately over the phone, proactively ordered a part that might be needed (no cost to me if it wasnt), and then stuck to the schedule beautifully. Everything was pleasant, professional, and incredibly accommodating. There was no upselling, the opposite in fact; he told me what could wait until I was back in Boston and made a minor fix for no additional charge. And he guaranteed his work nationally. So, you dont have to live in the Heights to take advantage of this great shop. And if you dont know the area, there are wonderful local shops to walk to and eat at while your car is being quickly and soundly repaired.
