Theyre OK when its to their benefit. I have been going there for 3 years, in for every oil change. Very nice guys until today. Went in for tires in the middle of a lot of snow. I paid almost $600 for cheap tires, but hey it was snowing and I didnt want to skid around anywhere else. The tires were $370 they charged a lot more in shop fees and labor to change tires. So while they changed my tires they broke my TPMS sensor on my rim. I had to call them all day to find out what was going on. They told me they would pay to have it reprogrammed because the one they put on my car was not programmed already. They told me in their words twice they didnt know which one they broke. So I go in there with my receipt from my mechanic, which was only $40. They changed the story and said it wasnt the one that I fixed. I started explaining and debating the fact that he lied the guy Kevin says, “OK you wanna go there Ill go there.” And proceeded to yell at me in front of all of the customers. I told him I didnt want to go anywhere buy having my money back. He yelled, “there will be no money!” I picked up my receipts gave him my comments and walked out because $40 is not worth arguing over. Midas, is $40 dollars worth losing a 3 year customer that is always more than nice to you that just paid almost $200 in labor to put on tires. No longer going there. Please avoid these guys. Very nasty and did it in front of my teenage niece.

Went to location in Akron for several repairs, they were friendly. So I thought this location would be the same. This location has TERRIBLE customer service. Stated they dont scan their own coupons from devices (which is a lie, because the Akron and Cincinnati locations I went to always did), but the coupon had to be printed off. I still got the oil change. They did not top off my fluids like the package priced oil change includes and they left the top off of the oil cap. My car was idling hard and gave off a strong burning smell to the point that I could not turn my heat on (winter time by the way) because the smell would choke me coming through my air vents. Come to find oil had spayed all on the interior engine compartment. There was no oil left in my engine at all and I had to pay another place to power wash my engine and another oil change. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Im not sure if this incident caused irreversible damage to my engine.

TOTAL RIP OFF!! I took my car to Midas to fix the "Service Engine" light issue & the rough idling. After 3 visits, they charged me $800, but never repaired the issue. My car continued to idle very roughly & the "Service Engine" light continued to blink. Finally, the Store Manager (Kelvin) said I needed to visit my dealer. I took my car to the dealer. According to the mechanic as the dealer, Midas fixed the wrong engine coil & Midas didnt replace the one of the sensors. This is why my vehicle continued to drive & idle roughly. After the dealer repaired my vehicle, I revisited Midas regarding this issue, the owner (some Russian) stated there was nothing he could do & took no responsibility for not repairing my car. He stated I needed to bring him the part back from the dealer & then we could talk. He refused to issue any kind of refund for not repairing my vehicle. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS MIDAS!!!

TERRIBLE customer service!!!! I had a minor payment issue for a cheap service (literally and figuratively). So, I wanted to pay over the phone with my credit card, or run to the bank, was told in a very nasty tone "I ONLY DO THAT FOR MY REGULAR CUSTOMERS" (I tried to do whatever I could) A customer is a customer (you should know that)!! Well, dont worry, I will never become a "regular" patron here! Neither will my friends or family! Very rude comments made by this staff personnel, that were so unnecessary. Was made to feel like a 3rd class citizen here, and I am a very decent person! Haved lived in the area a very long time, will travel to the west side Lube Stop on west 150th (superior customer service there). Will NOT come back here. Seemed as if it made his grim day brighter to make belittling remarks to me.. Learn some people skills, youll be surprised how far it will take you dude!

Initially, I trusted these guys. I took my car there when I was given a $1,000 quote from another local repair shop, and Midas made a simple repair that cost me $36.00. Recently I took my car back there and told them what the car suspension was doing, making a creaking noise when I turned the steering wheel. Well, long story short. after spending about $1,000 The wheel fell off my car. The original diagnosis was struts, control arm and upper ball joints. All replaced (not struts) Wheel falls of the car. Turns out it was the lower ball joints. Got the usual song and dance. Took the car to Sahlani Brothers, Cleveland Heights. You should too.

Upon arrival at my scheduled oil change, I presented a coupon (for $10 off my oil change) to one of the workers before they got started on my car. After the worker informed me that I had printed off the coupon for their Memphis Ave location instead, I apologized and asked him if they could still honor it at this location, since they were also offering the same deal. After the worker talked to the owner, he informed me that they would not honor this coupon; that I would need to go home, print off the correct coupon, then come back. What terrible customer service. I took my business elsewhere.

I love going here for service. They are the only repair place I go to where I can get in immediately to get an estimate. Everywhere else I go to refuse to even give me an estimate without me leaving the car first. They always are honest with me and are courteous enough to give me a ride home when the repair will take a while so I will not have to sit and wait. Another repair shop told me that I would need a heater core which would be an $800 repair before I would have heat in the car. Midas told me it was my thermostat which is relatively cheaper and now I have heat in my car again!!! A+++

I recently visited Cleveland for Mothers Day to visit my mother, my breaks were starting to grind so I had to go get them fixed, I ended up driving by this place and walked in. It was very busy and I walked out to try to go to another place, plus I was itching to go work out. The guy walked up to me and asked where was I going, the manager took care of me right then an there and physically took me to the gym while my truck was being worked on and picked me up. That blew me away.... -Aaron Manningham

A bit disappointed. Oil change & rotation, they recommended some brake work but I passed. However, after the appointment (i.e. same day) noticed the pads dragging in the front. They wanted an inspection charge to check it out. Maybe its just wild coincidence, but I have to believe theyre related, wish they would have offered to check it out without a fee. Ill have to take my hot rotors to my usual place
