I am very disappointed with the service I received from Fred Rieser Auto Body and would never recommend them to anyone. I hired them to repair my vehicle after an accident based on reviews and location. When I arrived to pick up my repaired SUV, I was shocked to see a dent in the new fender and a new crack in my door panel. This was topped off with very poor customer service and no apology for the shoddy repairs and inconvenience. After noticing the dent in my new fender, his receptionist called for Fred Jr. to do an exit inspection with me. I asked him if the new fender should have a dent in it and he told me he would need to look at it first. After looking, he quickly explained that it should not be dented and started talking about fixing it. I had already been without my car for a month and just wanted to be done and have it back. He and I began to negotiate my deducible as an alternative solution. While I was still talking, a third party that was present (who I don’t recall Fred Jr. had been introduced to) chimed in on the negotiation, going from my request of full deductible to a negotiation of less than half my deductible. Fred Jr. quickly agreed to this negotiation. I explained that it was my vehicle and the other man shouldn’t have been involved. Fred Jr. explained he was finished negotiating. I was super frustrated but reluctantly agreed. After that, I went to leave and upon opening my door, I noticed a crack on my interior door panel. I went back in and he was called back out. He explained he wasn’t going to get into how the crack may have happened and went on to explain my options. He told me that they likely wouldn’t be able to find a new panel because of the age of my SUV and that if they could find one used it would take several weeks and that I could just request an allowance from my insurance company. Being that this was all new to me, I asked a couple of questions and Fred Jr. asked me if I was someone “who had a lot of experience getting taken advantage of” because of my disposition. I guess since I went to pick up my car that was supposed to be repaired, only to find a dent in the fender and a crack in the door, I was coming across as someone who had experience getting taken advantage of. He also let me know that he mirrored his tone with customers tone and that if mine went up that his would too. I found that comment to be very offensive, as I was being very calm given the situation. After waiting a few days per his request, I called him back regarding the cracked door. The conversation turned negative very quickly. Due to the service I received, I decided this review was necessary. I hope who ever reads this finds it helpful.

Do not service your car here even if Geico tells you! Its a scam. My car was in parking damage case. One lady damaged both doors on left side so they had to be replaced. I took my car to Geico Preferred Auto Body shop and I found 3 problems right-away with the fixed car. 1. The panel below doors was shaking the screw on which it was hold on to was about to drop. When I pointed it out they fixed it in 20 minutes promising in 5 minutes. 2. There was a gap in between trim matching inside the door. 3. The door shakes when window goes up and down on left side (is not observed on right side). After fixing the first problem Agent from Fred Reiser Auto Body started complaining about the situation rather than trying to fix it. He says would you have checked your panel below door if you were to buy this car??? Is this the way you treat your customers?? He complains that I am trying to find the faults when I clearly showed what the problems are. He moves to other side and starts showing me problems of my vehicle (scratches) than the things he was asked to fix. He says "bring car back other time and I will fix the gap within 5 minutes, now I do not have time!" Great! So except me, everyone looks busy to me in Geico provided Auto Body service center. About the shaking the Agent says I dont know what to tell you - So basically he either does not want to fix it or does not know how to fix it. (also adds that he is 62 year old and he loves his job..??//) Totally frustrated with the service by this Geico provided Auto Body Shop. Even if they tell you it will save you a lot of time and your car will get fixed quickly and you will have rental car available right-away do not fall for the trap. You will end up spending more time in Body Shop visits than you would do it at the other certified center.

I recently took my car here per Geicos instructions after a parking-lot fender-bender that left my rear bumper scraped and dented in a couple of places. The repairs werent too expensive or complicated, but the work was consistently disappointing. I went back to pick my car up after reparis the first time and noticed (as soon as I pulled in) that I could still see the larger of the two dents in my bumper. When I complained, they agreed to fix the dents. I returned the next day, and was disappointed to see that the dent was still very evident. When I notified them AGAIN that the car still wasnt repaired, they tried to make me feel crazy, telling me it was the paint that was tricking my eye. It wasnt. Also, theyre a body shop and should be able to paint a bumper without having paint problems. They finally agreed to refinish the whole bumper and work on the dent again. The third time I went to pick it up, it still wasnt perfect and the dent is incredibly visible. However, I was so disappointed and now distrustful of their work (plus Geico was no longer willing to foot the bill for my rental) that I just took my car and left. I will be lodging a complaint with Geico as well. Not only was the work shoddy, but I was made to feel crazy because i could still see a dent that was OBVIOUSLY there (not to mention one could FEEL the dent and also see that the straight lines from the parking lot reflecting in the bumper were refracting in all sorts of not-straight angles where the dent is).

Used this body shop as it was the Geico preferred shop. Had about $7K worth of damage to my Honda Accord coupe - got t-boned on the passenger side. They were fabulous to work with. Pictures of the repair process of your vehicle get posted to their site periodically, so you can see what has been done every few days. The repair process took exactly as long as they originally quoted - 14 business days. They had to get me a different door which now closes more quietly than the previous one did. They matched the dark window tint as well as blended the paint color perfectly. I also had to get a new rear quarter panel and front fender, windshield, rear window, and they had to special order carbon fiber paneling to match the inside. They also had to do some work on realigning the car "columns" but I cant remember what they called that process. When you first go to check out the shop they can give you a tour of the whole place; everyone was friendly and looked like they knew what they were doing. I had to take the car back one time two days after I brought it home as the airbag light came on. They fit me in right away, I didnt have to wait, and they fixed it in less than half an hour. I have literally not noticed ANY negative side effects of my major accident after they took care of it. Im very grateful! I would gladly go back to Fred Rieser for any work like this.
