I brought in my 2012 BMW 750LI which we bought for over $120,000.00 They ruined the paint on my car when they went to make a small repair. After painting they Bake the car so the paint hardens, during this process they must of have the car outside because water got under the plastic which they use to protect the paint and when they Baked the car they water marks Baked into the paint, I brought it back 3 times to have them fix it, they were unable to fix it. After paying $1000 I had a balance of $800 in which I was not going to pay, they sent me a letter from a lawyers office trying to collect the balance. When I called and spoke to Brian Mccready which is the VP for autometrics he seemed concerned and wanting to help, I was to receive a call from him or the owner within 2 days, after a week of not hearing back from them I called, he simply asked me to bring the vehicle back. The repairs will cost approx. $3000 because I had another company give me an estimate. I will be going tomorrow to file a lawsuit for the $3000 plus the $1000 in which I payed to have them Ruin my $120,000.00 car with 15,000 miles on it. I wasnt even bothering them for the damage. NEVER USE THIS SHOP! Incompetent, rude, abusive! Dennis the manager is an arrogant jerk! I had an insurance claim recently and he took two months to repair my car when he originally promised it in less than 3 weeks. He and his shop never did simple diagnostics so kept missing important repairs. My car had to go back three times. He never called to give me promised weekly updates. He hung up on me when I asked him to do his job. He refused to deliver my vehicle when it was complete (a service the insurance required), stating I was "out of the delivery radius". This was a blatant lie because both my home and my work were well within the 25 mile radius. My guess is he thought I was black (I live in Detroit and work in Southfield) and he is an ignorant racist, misogynist. Autometric is supposedly "the best" in metro Detroit - NOT this location!

I have used & recommended Autometric for 20 years now. Most recently, I brought in my 2006 BMW convertible. It was rear ended this past Fall. The repairs involved replacing a rear quarter panel. The fit and finish round the convertible mechanism and cover were perfect. The car is a silver metallic - hard to blend the paint with the other panels. Autometric as always does a great job with this as well. While the work took a "bit" longer than expected, the excellent quality was worth the wait. Hopefully, I wont need to go back there for a while, but if you are in need of bodywork, Autometric is the place to go!

Great experience(s). I brought my 2011 Buick Regal in about a year ago for front end damage. I was kept up to date on the progress and contacted for my approval on parts. Repairs were fantastic; my "hard to please" father even approved!!! Recently, my Regal found its way back into Autometrics lot. Nick was attentive and kept me informed along the way. I felt comfortable contacting him throughout the insurance issues and he assisted me with cleaning out my car, as it was totaled. Amazing experience(s); wouldnt bring my car anywhere else.

We have been using Autometric for years. They have always done outstanding work. Just recently they fixed my BMW. Not only did they repair the damage from the accident, but they also fixed other stone chips that the car had. They finished everything with a full detail. My car was like new when I picked it up. They completely exceeded my expectations. I was just thrilled with the results and the professionalism of the personnel. I will never take my cars elsewhere for work.

An excellent body shop. I refuse to take my vehicles anywhere else. Theres a reason you consistently see $60, $70, $80K BMWs in their shop for repair. They fix it right, the first time. No visible tape lines, overspray, or anything done half way with Autometric. Excellent shop!
