Brand new community center for the far west side of Columbus. It rivals just about any of the YMCAs in the area. It has a cardio and machine exercise area, a free weight area, a swimming pool, a basketball / gymnasium area, & a second floor walking/jogging track. It also has a few multipurpose rooms for different kinds of events. All the equipment is top notch. The Community Center offers different types of events and classes for kids all the way to senior citizens. If youre a Prairie Township resident, the rates are very cheap. If youre not, it is quite a bit more expensive; however, its still a little cheaper than the YMCAs. If you live on the far west side of Columbus, I highly recommend joining the center. Its well worth it.

NICE POOL, BUT CAREFUL, COLD WATER, POOL HAS MOLD, MY WIFE SPOKE WITH AQUATICS MANAGER ABOUT THAT, BUT SHE`S TOLD HER IT`S NOT A MOLD, I HAVE PICTURES WITH MOLD:!!!!!!!!!! LIFEGUARD CLEAN MOLD at THAT MOMENT WHEN THE PEOPLE WITH KIDS IN THE POOL AND WATER WITH MOLD GO TO THE POOL IT`S DANGEROUS FOR US AND OUR KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNFREINDLY LIFEGUARDS,OUR KIDS UNSAFELY,BECAUSE LIFEGUARDS DON`T CARE ABOUT THEM,AND THEY IGNORE MOTHER COMPLAINS

They have a great environment and great background music. The pool is nice and warm. The free weights and other machines are typically free if you go in the mornings. The only downside is the way they built the gym you can only play volleyball if you rent the entire gym (they put the holes for the polls smack dab in the middle) they should have thought that through and maybe more people would be willing to rent.

This is a rec center that has lots to do for all ages. They have a very good selection of free weights, weight lifting machines, cardio machines, a large pool that varies in depth, a full size basketball court and a track. The people that work here are very friendly, knowledgeable, approachable, willing to teach and demonstrate, but also are willing to be hands on if you ask or need help.

I absolutely love the community center! Our family swims, uses the workout/weight area, indoor track and gym. If I had one downfall to say, it would be that there are only two swim lanes which makes lap swimming availability limited throughout the week. We recommend getting a membership to anyone who may be currently using YMCA or other fitness centers alike.

Nice workout facilities with a daycare so I can drop my kids off while Im at the gym. The daycare could have more active things for the kids to climb on/play with. Also, my subdivision is right behind the center but Im not considered a resident. Other than that its a great place that offers a lot to do.

Aquafit classes are fun, energetic and on time always. More water classes than other fitness centers in the area Qualified instructors are very helpful and patient. Nice safe location with plenty of parking. Nice running track and good selection of workout equipment.

I love Alices classes on saturday mornings. She is an amazing instructor. I also love that everyone is so friendly and often see familiar faces. I do wish they offered more challenging classes like boot camp or hit workouts.
