At first I thought maybe I was a big wuss and too sensitive but after reading the reviews, I have to agree that its not just me and my imagination. They really are rude! I had 2 panic attacks on two separate days there and will not be returning because I am afraid it will happen again. The first time I just did not understand the packaging and the woman was a little rude explaining it. It wasnt that bad. I came back the next day with correct packaging and was hoping for a smooth transaction and just prepared to be as polite as I possibly could. So I gave the man at the counter my package to send and he asked me if there are any liquids in the container and I very clearly said, "No, just shoes", trying to be as helpful and cooperative as I could, and the man raised his voice and said "MAAM GIVE ME A YES OR NO YOU ARE LEGALLY REQUIRED TO SAY YES OR NO" and so I just said No, being to afraid to say anything else. Even though I had already clearly said No to begin with, its almost like they are trying to be rude and mean on purpose. I am an easily startled person prone to panic attacks and I have to send a package again tomorrow, and I will NOT be going back to the Lakewood location even though it is convenient for me, I simply to do want to spend the remainder of my day coming down from a panic attack. There are employees there that have been very helpful unlike the above 2 which I had experiences with, so it is not all bad. But I simply wont take my chances, because that older man is usually there and I dont want to have to deal with him. So if you dont suffer from an anxiety disorder you will be fine at this office. But as for me, I am not returning.

Ordered two packages that I tracked from the moment they were shipped up until they reached sorting complete and out for delivery up UNTIL IT STATED IT WAS DELIVERED IN OR AT MAILBOX. Never got my packages I tracked so they wouldnt get stolen. I contacted each seller and ebay as well amazon and both were unhelpful. I went further and contacted usps and the lady was rude didnt fully care to help even though I told her I was missing 2 packages she only looked up 1 package. And she didnt really seem to care to help me cause it was labeled as delivered when I checked my mailbox all day that day and stayed home just sonic could receive my stuff. For now on I will never have my stuff shipped through them Ill pay more to go fed ex or ups. This was by far the worst if they dont figure out where my stuff is as they stated they dont know Ill be out of $50.00 worth of stuff. Never again.

This REVIEW is for the Lakewood Ohio 44107 post office. Im just gonna cut right to the chase, they have the worst, rudest, and laziest postal workers I have seen in my life! I dont want to seem racist but the African american women that work there are always rudest and have the biggest attitude. Why do you work at a place where you have to deal with customer service if you have an attitude problem? If you hate your job then quit, find a new one! If you have issues of your own leave them at home. I have talked to numerous people that have went to that location and have had problems with the African american women that work there. If you cant deal with the public get a telemarketing job this way your paid to have an "ATTITUDE". Also you have certain questions you can ask about whats in the package other than that its NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!

The only thing I can count on with my mail in Lakewood is that I cant count on it. EVERY TIME Im waiting for something important there is an issue. I get at least 4 items of my neighbors mail every week, sometimes from streets not even close to mine. Ive been told I live on a training route, I have a different mail carrier every few weeks. I just found out a reimbursement check Ive been waiting on from work was mailed weeks ago. I never got it. This scenario pretty much plays out every time Im actually waiting for something important. One year it was my W2s. Id call and complain, but even trying to do that is such a hassle chasing down the right number and trying to get someone on the phone who doesnt have that "i dont care" sound in their voice.

Absolutely, the worst postal experience I have ever encountered. I sent a package from New York City, which was to be delivered to a family member in this area on 6/5/17. It was never delivered. However, the less than helpful, supervisor at this station stated that it was scanned and delivered. That however is not the case. HIs attitude and unprofessional demeanor is unacceptable and should not be tolerated by any paying users of the postal service. I will be following up with the Postmaster General responsible for this station and its employees. This station does not deserve any star rating on google but one has to be selected in order to post a review. But consider this station the worst!

They are not helpful. They are rude. They are incompetent. I have had two packages recently sent to me from vendors with postage due. The first package was listed as "delivered" on the tracking website but in fact was being held at the post office until the postage was paid. I had to call to find out. The second package from another vendor was "in transit" for two days. I had to call to find out the package was deemed to have "postage due" and was immediately sent back all the way to CALIFORNIA. It very likely cost WAY more to ship the package back to California then it did to just deliver my package and figure out the difference with either myself or the vendor.

Absolutely awful customer service. I was taping up a package at the register since I thought they needed to see the barcode on the box I was purchasing, and I didnt want to cover up the barcode. Excuse me if that was the wrong thing to do, but I dont usually send snail mail these days. As I have the tape in my hand ready to go on the box flap, the employee literally pulled the box away from me so that she could weigh it. Nevermind holding the box in place for me to make the process faster, oh no, that would have just been too convenient right? I was made to feel like I was an inconvenience. Save your sanity, dont take your business to this location.

Ive been in the same house since 2004, my mailbox is "monitored" due to numerous complaints of misdirected mail, & I STILL receive the neighbors mail on an almost DAILY basis. Do you want to know the Post Office response? "Your mail carrier is having personal issues." I truly wish that someone / anyone in this office appreciated their job enough to provide service that deserved at least ONE star. This Post Office location does not deserve that. One disclaimer: the shorter-statured Caucasian man is the fastest, most pleasant employee there, but hes not there often.
