I had gone to The One hair salon back in high school for updos. Then became hooked with te atmosphere. I liked the homey environment. However recently when visiting the salon I started to have bad experiences. Especially when renovation. I hated that te person I went to would sit me aside during my appointment to put other people in her chair. Because she was over booked. I felt as if I was not important and that she just was doing this because of more money. I am the type of persons hat believes in customer service being number one expectations for all employees. Whenever I would call to schedule an appointment I felt as though they were rude on the phone and I was being disrespected. I would no recommend this salon for others and I feel that thy have lost me as a client. I also feel that their prices have changed and not for the better. The prices are outrageous for the service they provide. If they want myself to pay that amount I highly recommend hiring stylists that are welcoming, nice, respectful and thoughtful. Not disrespectful and worried about money.

I have been a customer of The One HairSalon for about 10 years now! I see Jessica Walker for my hair and Ive seen several other technicians for other services such as mani/pedi, facials, waxing, etc. Jessica has given me perms, highlights, color, updos, make-up, and of course haircuts! Ive always been happy with my service and Ive always been very pleased with the facility as a whole. Its very tastefully decorated and kept spotless! There is ample parking and winter snow and ice has never been an issue as the lot is always kept clear. I feel like the prices for service are very competitive and the technicians are always talking about hair shows/classes they attend so I know the technique and products they use are all modern and current. I have never been double booked nor have I had to wait more than 5 mins or so for my appts.

Absolutely loved this salon. Great customer service, and extremely talented people. I took my daughter to get maroon panels in her hair. I was extremely nervous about it and my daughter is very shy, but the girl who did her hair immediately put us both at ease. She asked a ton of questions to make sure my daughter was happy with the finished product. Great experience. We will definitely be going back.

The inside of the salon is done up in gold and black, good parking in the rear of the building, From the owner down everyone seems to be very pleasant and they care about what you want done with your hair. Making appointments ahead is a good idea, although I think they also do walk ins. My favorite place to get hair done. I drive about 20+ miles to use that salon.

I have been going to the One for over 17 years. I have had multiple services and people provide the services. I have only had one negative experience with a stylist and they didnt last long. Everyone on the staff is professional and well trained. It is always such a nice treat to go in and be pampered in such a beautiful space by people that know what they are doing.

Not once but twice I have taken my son there for a cut and to wait 30 min. Each time. Looks like they double booking people in there is a no show. If they are running behind for some unknown reason thats fine. But to come out and say Lll be right with you and then 30 minutes later walk out with another customer is not right.

Went to One Hair for the first time a few weeks ago for a pedicure with Dana...it was amazing! She took her time and did an awesome french ped. Cant believe the paint still looks great! Will definitely go back!!
