I wouldnt trust this shop with a vacuum cleaner near my car. I Contracted to perform a bolt-on exhaust upgrade from stock on my 2000 Pontiac Firebird. At first everything seemed great. I got a written estimate, the customer service was responsive, I put down a $1,000 deposit to order the parts, and a promise was made to contact me to schedule service when the parts arrived... and heres what happened next: • Two weeks later, I contacted them to see if the parts had arrived. I spoke to Wayne and was told that the order had been misplaced and that Travis, who created the quote, was gone. Wayne apologized profusely and said he would contact me as soon as he had more details regarding delivery. • Two more weeks elapse and I call a second time. This time Wayne told me the parts were on backorder, and stated he would contact other providers and contact me with details. • Yet another two weeks passed and another phone call was made, and finally the parts appeared and the work was scheduled. • I was told that new plug wires were installed to accommodate the new header. Around this time Wayne also mentioned that he would be leaving (employee #2). • Shop calls to say they built a new catalytic converter since the Flowmaster was on backorder. • Upon completion of the work, I paid the balance and picked up the car. In less than 24 hours, there was a loud exhaust noise. • Back to the shop and Im told it was the gasket on the EGR return tube, which is no longer manufactured. Shop offered to make one using gasket epoxy. • Within 24 hours the heat and pressure from the exhaust did in the standard gasket material and it blew out a second time. I inspected under the hood with a friend who is ASE Master certified, and heres what we found: • The EGR valve, which I had personally replaced a month before service, was damaged. • The EGR return pipe was crimped. • The new plug wires were not long enough and haphazardly draped over the engine block, near the alternator, putting them at risk of heat damage. • There was a box wrench stuck on the mount holding the now-damaged EGR/EGR pipe in the engine block. • They did not build a cat, but I paid for one. They installed a stock cat, which caused the rest of the problems listed. • The 3 inch downpipe from the new headers went into a stock cat which was clamped, not welded • The stock cat had a two inch outlet pipe, taking the 3 inch to 2 before stepping back to 3 - completely wrecking the free flow and building back pressure • One header bolt was missing and another worked its way loose • After about one month, the header gasket blew out from the additional backpressure • The pipes were not welded properly or at all and were banging against the frame Conclusion: this shop does not have a basic understanding of how exhaust systems work, they leave tools in your car, and there is no attention whatsoever given to quality work. I have taken pictures of and documented all of these problems prior to repairing them at considerable time and expense to myself, and I am strongly considering legal action.

Old truck 325000miles work was done on time and quality surpassed the price would recommend that everyone to give them a try you have nothing to lose and the ability to gain a great mechanic felt very comfortable with something that could of been a disaster with that many miles I will be a repeat customer in future thanks Brian and employees from a poor old carpenter who needed a break (SWEET) good to know people are still honest and sincere. Went there yesterday with a frozen rear brake caliper. The car was ready that same day and the cost was more than fair. I was looking for a local shop being new to the area and had no recommendation so relied on G reviews. I am happy with the service, short time, and cost and will be returning when needed. The stylish sign is a bit hard to read but the building has the name spelled clearly in big letter. Its right next to the Shell, West on Grandin and hard to miss.

First shop Ive found that can realistically do a great job on custom work and basic maintenance. Ive been servicing my fleet here for years. Great service, great quality, and fair prices. Last year I moved to Dayton Ohio, and I still commute down to source1 for all my vehicles. Ive had them work on classic cars, race cars, diesel trucks, and normal cars. Never seen a shop so apt to handle "anything" and still do great work.

Ive recently took my 911 to Source 1 for a couple of upgrades. their service and quality of work is outstanding! an appointment was made on Monday for the following day and in 2 days I got my car back while I was expecting to pick it up only after a week. price was very really fair and perfectly in line with the quote they initially gave me. Source One Automotive is the place to go for any car needs service or performance.

I had been looking for a SUV for my mother for some time. Finally I found one on Source1s used car lot. I worked with Anthony to learn the history on the MDX they had . We were not sure about the timing belt service so they helped out and worked it into the deal and did a great job in replacing the timing belt with the proper parts and in a timely manner. I highly recommend Source1 for any repairs needed on your vehicle

Towed my car here having only glanced at their Facebook page and seeing some Of the cars in their parking lot from time to time. They got me back on the road in no time at all. The staff is very nice and straight forward. Its nice to know they can get some higher end wheels and performance parts that other places in the area cannot. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Great shop with friendly and honest staff. I took my car there to get work fixed that was done poorly by another shop. They fixed me up and the issue I had was resolved very quickly. Highly recommend them to anyone needing work done on their vehicle. You will not be disappointed with Source 1. These guys have the best reputation in town for a reason!

I just moved to town and didnt have a mechanic I trusted. I tried these guys because they were close, and I hit the jackpot. Everyone at Source 1 is extremely friendly and professional, they do great work, theyre honest, and they dont gouge you on price, either. Highly recommended, whether youre driving a 10-year-old Mazda or a rare supercar.

I hate taking my car to a repair shop. I usually have a family member or someone I can trust work on my cars. I have had to take a car here twice due to not being able to get someone I know to work on my car and they have been great both times. They seem honest and I would not hesitate to come back.
