TERRIBLE!!!!! I came in because i was having loud thumping noises coming from underneath car... they told me it was my drive shaft... charged me $1400 to fix!!!! I was with out my car for 4 days... i got it back and the next morning i went to go to a appointment and the car wouldnt start!!!! Battery was completely DEAD!!! When i called up there they told me they knew about it and had to jump it to get it into the shop... so you would think you would have told me when i picked it up that the battery was died and you had problems starting it!!! BUT NOOOOO!!!! Then ever since i got it back its been one problem after thee other.... soon as i drove it the heat shield is broke???? Never had a problem before... so i took it up... he said he would rig it for me so noise would stop... so same day heat shield it at it again!!! Did they even fix it?!?!?! Same with burning smell.... paid for part and they said it would fix problem and nope nothing has changed!!! I will NEVER nor will i EVER go back there or send anyone there!!!!!!

The place should be called Montville Liars and Crooks Express. If you dont want to get lied to and ripped off - go some place else. I could write a novella about the deceptive advertising and false guarantees, but Ill just brush a couple of issues. First - you could go in for an oil change and the service writers will warn you about issues and create an environment of fear. Theyll make up stuff and tell you about how dangerous this-or-that could be and give you some astronomical figure as to repair without this-or-that preemptive repair. Lifetime guarantees? Lies. Free this-or-that? Lies. I bought tires a couple of years ago and I had to replace them this week because they were dry-rotted. They buy tires in mass from God knows where so they can sell them at a discount five years later to unsuspecting customers. Gift card? Services are jacked up to leave little or nothing on the gift card. Free rotation and balance? Nah, thats on two-wheeled vehicles. Every turn...they gotcha.

Bought tires, great price but have had leaks since day one. Their service follow up needs addressed as their mode of operation is "stop by and we will refill" but to get your car in for them to actually perform the service of rotation and address the leaks are next to impossible. They claim they are always booked, if I sold you tires and you had problems such as I have had, would make it our priority to take care of you, they do not and when asked about it they simply give you excuse after excuse as to why they cannot deliver service. Would not recommend unless it is price your only after for tires, plan on taking your car to somebody else for continued care and for any problem remediation.

A refreshingly honest shop!! Mark took care of some repairs that would have been very costly for my wifes car after hitting a curb; they beat other shops by a couple hundred dollars and didnt try to trick us into doing more work than needed like others did. I was so happy with the service and price, I took my car in for an oil change a couple weeks later. Even that was cheaper than normal considering I need full synthetic oil for my Honda Civic. I couldnt have done the oil change cheaper in my own driveway! Great job Mark and Matt at the front desk for taking such good care of us!!!!

Spring Fortlage

I had issues of my own when going here, so I havent been back. My sons work truck, a company vehicle, got a flat tire and needed a plug this morning. After waiting over an hour after the tire was plugged for the paperwork, the advisor threw his keys at him and told him it was done. My son then had to ask for the paperwork to turn into the company, the advisor then grabbed the envelope and physically pushed it into his chest and again gave him attitude. Way to be professional and customer focused.

Montville Express Tire & Automotive helped me with a winter tire package for my car. They are great to work with. The pricing is very fair and the service is outstanding. They are very responsive and very nice. I purchased my tires back in November but waited to write the review until now to see what they were like after the purchase. I may sound broken but they could not have helped me any better. I strongly recommend you give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Montville Express Tire and Automotive has always given me a great deal for the work they perform on my vehicle. Getting an appointment which accommodates my schedule is easy and they also provide a rental if ever needed. They are efficient and I have never had a problem with any work performed. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and aim for high customer service. I would recommend them to anyone.

Montville tire is the best my car was miss firing and I could not figure out what was the cause of it so I took my car to them and told them I had a budget of 300.00 to 400.00 dollars and Keith had no problem staying within that budget and got my car running great I will not take my car too any other shop but them from now on thank you so much at montville tire yall are the best

This place is great for oil changes. Its best to schedule the appointment, but they can take walk-ins. Its easy for them if you can leave your car, but I just wait in the lounge area with the TV and complementary coffee. I love their car-care club book that offers oil changes and other services as a discount. Friendly local shop that has served me well.

I always appreciate the guys at Mr. Tire. Whether its a simple oil change or a more timely matter. They always get me in quick, point out anything I dont know about and have continuously given me reason to trust them. They make sure I know what repairs are necessary and what I need to fix eventually without pressuring me to spend money I dont need to spend.

These guys are GREAT!!! Im usually intimidated when I go to a repair shop, but I was able to put my guard down at Mr. Tire. I didnt have to "take their word for it". They brought me out in the shop and showed me the repairs that I needed. I felt really comfortably with the recommendations. This is the only shop I will bring my car to!!!

All the guys at this shop are great! They dont ever try to pressure you into buying something you dont want or need. They are super nice, and care more about making the customers happy than a commission sale like most places do. All in all. I will continue to come to this shop
