Yesterday my car decided to blow a tire on 161 during rush hour and I needed tires fast. I called Midas primarily since they had the free alignment special with purchase of 4 tires. They were able to order in the tires that my car needed (unfortunately, my car requires a weird size tire... so I am used to this). Being 7.5 months pregnant, I was terrified to drive my car with the spare tire during rush hour again, so I left work and went to Midas to wait for the tires to arrive. The tires took some time to get there but Frank went straight to work getting my old tires off in anticipation, and Tom was great in answering my questions while we waited. The tires were delayed and Frank came out to check on me, offered me water. I asked him if there was a restaurant or someplace that sold candy bars... that sweet man went to the gas station and bought me a king size Reeses Peanut butter Cup. :) When the tires finally arrived, they were quick and thorough and, once again, answered all of my questions. Any other company would have been angry that my car kept them over at work... but not Tom and Frank. I will be back. I have never had better customer service - ever- in any dealings with my car. They definitely deserve more than a 5 star review, and more than earned my repeat business

I have been going to this shop since it first opened whenever that was but I think it was probably close to 20 years ago. They have fixed my cars numerous times and I have never really had to go anywhere else. They have done some major jobs for me but nothing trumps the last one they pulled off for me! I have a 1973 Mercedes Benz of my now deceased grandfather that was his dream car and now I love it for the fact it was his. I took it out recently and had a major/catastrophic brake failure to the point there was a small fire! I didnt hesitate to have it towed to my trusty Midas guys. Before long they had everything figured out... but the real challenge came when they tried to get replacement parts for such an old car. I will just summarize that they went above and beyond to land me what parts they could and then they rebuilt the parts they couldnt. They even had some corporate people looking across the parts world! So now I essentially have a completely overhauled brake system on my family heirloom and I cant thank them enough. Damon, Tom, Dan, and mechanic Tim were first class! But truly over the years they have all been first class. They have a customer for life in me and my family. Thanks again New Albany Midas! Keep up the great work!!!

Midas replaced the catalytic converters, since then Ive returned on a monthly basis over the past 8 months for ongoing issues with my exhaust system. The worst was the exhaust fumes spilling into the drivers cabin, causing me and my family headaches and nausea. Theyve puttied and re-welded poor fittings and my truck still sounds horrible and rides worst. I worked with the district manager (Dan) and they’ve provided incredibly poor service and The "GUARANTEE"(worthless) is a run-around. I took my truck to an independent shop and heres what they found in a 20 minute inspection of my exhaust system. * Found crossmember Bolts (Holds Transmission) were left loose, causing klunking noise * Found welds in front of aftermarket converters are leaking, not welded all the way around. *Found welds in rear of the converters leaking causing noise and rumbling *Found leaks in exhaust are triggering engine light *Rear muffler neck is weak-Weld in front of muffler leaks *Middle of tailpipe leaks *Hanger bracket missing @ rear of converter *02 sensor is poorly placed too low, likely to be damaged by road debris All Midas guaranteed is that I will have wasted a lot of time and money for poor customer service and abysmal quality of workmanship.

I have an extensive POSITIVE history with this Midas! My car is almost 10 years old with almost 150K miles. I am determined to keep my baby going and these guys have allowed me to do it. Over the past 5-6 years they replaced: my entire transmission when the original was rendered useless by flooding, timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, tires, countless oil changes, and theyve dealt with several axle problems. Work is always completed timely, they are always professional and courteous, they offered the most reasonable prices for the quality of work they do, and the managers work with you. The quality is why I keep coming back. I tried to save money by going to mom-and-pops garages offering deals and coupons on various repairs but twice I had to get additional repairs to fix the work they had done. Guess who I went to for those repairs? Nuff said...

I recently took my vehicle to this location to get a tire patched. They "took a look at the tire" and told me that I needed to completely replace it because it was leaking from an old patch. I leased my car brand new and never had any issues with my tires until now, so there should not be a patch on it. I explained that to the technician and he just kept telling me that it needed to be replaced (and oh by the way, "you should buy 2 tires instead of 1"). I ended up taking my car to my dealership where they found that it only needed a patch because there was a plastic screw sticking out of it. Clearly, the guys at Midas did not take the time to actually look at my tire or listen to what I had to say. I am very disappointed with the service I received and will probably take my business elsewhere going forward.

Came here last month to get my brakes looked at. Was told I needed new front rotors & brake pads along with 2 other services for a total of around $470. Just Brakes & rotors will be around $370. Of course I didnt have that amount of money at that time so I opted to come back when I did. Long story short I brought the parts from autozone. Asked my spouse if his uncle was willing to do it to as I am expecting soon & wanted my car to be as safe as possible & to cut down on cost. Well after removing my tires & checking everything. MY BRAKES & ROTORS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION!!!!! no changing needed. He also showed me what it should/shouldnt look like. Now imagine if I did get my car fixed the day I went in smh. Will not come back. Customer service was great tho. I was lied to. :(

In all honesty Midas did a great job fixing what I took my car there to be fixed for, which was my exhaust, but then I was told I had an issue with my right front tie rod so I agreed to let them fix it. I drove my car away thinking there would be no more issues until I got on the highway where my car was suddenly really unstable on turns. I called back to Midas who told me to bring my car back in two days. When I got there I was told there was now an issue with my left tire was missing a necessary socket. In this scenario I did not feel comfortable with how that situation was handled and feel like it was more than just coincidence that it the issue started as soon as I drove out of their parking lot.
