My car was supposed to be towed here Monday July 10th. I received a call from the girl at the front desk saying they received my order from my insurance company but told me the car wasnt there yet so I called my insurance company to have the car towed there and it was towed by the end of the day. Tuesday comes and my car wasnt checked until right before they closed even though I received an email from Taylor saying shed have an answer for me soon and that was at 2:49 pm. So I called before they closed around 5 & Taylor told me Chris was looking at the car and would get a call before they closed. He called around 5:15 & said I needed a new tie rod which would cost $271 and needed to wait for the part to come in tomorrow, Wednesday and told me hed call me if anything else arose with my car that needed fixed I said ok. Well Wednesday comes and I dont hear anything all day so I call before they close around 5 once again because at this point no one has contacted me. Taylor answers the phone and tells me my car is at another shop down the road? She said shed call me back in 10 and didnt so I called the shop. Chris told me it needed an alignment and he had to have another shop do it because he cant do alignments. I then asked if my car should be done tomorrow, Thursday so then he was rude and said "As we discussed if your car needs anything else Ill call and let you know." But he couldnt even call to tell me my car was going to another shop and needed an alignment? So Thursday comes and I finally get my first call from the place and get a voicemail from Chris saying the other shop said I needed another tie rod fixed which I dont know why he didnt find that out when he examined my car Tuesday but nonetheless tells me to call him back so that he knows I received his voicemail. So I called and told him my name and he said which car is this again? So I told him. He seemed surprised I called him even though he said to but pretty much just restated what he said in the voicemail. At this point I let him know that I didnt appreciate not having any contact and people not calling back when they should and how I dont appreciate my car being taken to another shop without notice especially when he said he would contact me if anything else came up. That is when he raised his voice at me and said Im calling up there every hour and "sorry your car dont get done the day you bring it in!" Is what he yelled and I said its not even about that. Its about not knowing anything and the lack of professionalism. I asked if he was the manager and turns out hes the owner which is even worse. Then he proceeded to say were done hes going to tell the other shop not to fix my car and I can just come get it! I said were done because Im telling you theres a lack of communication? He was completely belligerent with me then got quiet on the phone and wouldnt say anything like a child then said so what do you want me to do? I said I need my car fixed let me know when its done. So later I get a voicemail that its fixed and it cost $409 which would have been nice to know ahead of time. My relatives pick up the car and when they say which one theyre like ohhhh that car as if we were the problem. My relative goes to pay and Chris asks how its getting paid and my relative said credit card and hes like theres a fee if you use your credit card and my relative didnt understand why and he said well thats just life. The sad part is this is a selective service my insurance company referred me to but I have definitely informed them of the situation as well.

My dad was on the horns of dilemma this morning, thought he needed new hinges on the side door of his 03 GMC Savannah work van. However, with a little bit of grease, York Road Automotive was able to fix my dads side door, and he was on his way. He left here at about 8:30 this morning and was back by 10 after 9, as there were at least 6 people working on his van at once. Thank you to Bill, Chris, Rachel, John, and everyone else at York Road Automotive, especially the guy with the cool hair that happened to have a grease gun to do the side hinge pins. You guys rock. Thanks again. 5 stars.

This place has been the only amazing part of a horrible ordeal. My car was tboned, they had it fixed as quickly as possible, it looked great. Due to my insurance, though, they had to use a used cardoor and because of that the locking mech became stuck. They came out and towed my car, organised a rental car for me and took care of it all over again. My car has been great ever since and these people are just all around awesome.

Excellent service. A few weeks after repairing the front end we started having a loud noise from the AC blower. They said, come right in. Discovered it was a napkin that had fallen inside the dash from the glove compartment! They had that fixed in five minutes. No charge of course. Zeke the dog/mascot also gives a warm welcome. I would for sure go back here again, very personal service.

A lady without a drivers license and no insurance struck my 1 year old vehicle. I had to make a claim with my own insurance and they recommended York Road Automotive. York made it look brand new. Communication was solid. Highly recommended.
