I just rented one of their larger units with my Mother so we could get some stuff out of our houses and eliminate some clutter. The process of renting the unit was very easy. We have our own access code to get into the property and the manager lives right next door which I like. We did purchase a lock from Extra Space based on their recommendation, but even when they called me back after reserving my unit online they did say that I was able to bring my own if I wanted, The cost of the unit does go up a bit from the advertised monthly price due to the insurance, but I think the cost of that depends on the value of items in the unit. We arent storing anything of value, just furniture, decorations, and sentimental items. The insurance does cover flooding, but the location is on a hill and the units floor is raised up about an inch from the ground so I dont think water damage will ever be an issue, but nature has its own plans! I will update my review throughout the time I have the unit based on my experiences.

DEAR ANNA AND VON First have you stopped in to talk to the on site manager. because it was explained to me the parts were ordered and were shipped wrong. they were shipped back and the never reshipped the right parts so a new controller was installed and that seems to be having a problem with the computer another one is on its way. As far as the Manger going on vacation she been there11 years and that was her first vacation in 11 years so if you dont like her getting a vacation one every 11 year i think i can speak for myself i would tell you to kiss my ass. this property is always clear they treat customer nice if you dont like it move your ass out. Well it started out good and got better I need packing boxes and packing items they told me what I needed and got all together for me

Dishonest.....starting storing there in July 2016 they said "the gate would be fix in a few weeks" it is NOW Nov 2016 and it is STILL NOT FIX....and on site Manager was on vacation for 2 weeks...WHERE IS THE SECURITY THEY PROMISE!!!!! It will cost me a lot of money to move my storage to another facility since I have 2 large units...Again, will have to hire moving people and rent a large truck...................SHAME ON THEM FOR FALSE ADVERTISMENT.............AND LYING ....FILED A COMPLAINT TO MY STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE..............

New to storage rental. KC was very helpful & answered all my questions, even pointed out some things I had no idea about. Top notch customer service. The facility is very clean & secure. I felt very comfortable with my decision to obtain a storage unit. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. If you are in need of a storage facility, then I highly, highly recommend Extra Space Storage in Perry. I really cant say enough good things about my experience. Thanks KC! Same issue as other recent reviewer (Von). Began storage 07/2015; shortly thereafter rates increased. Now security gate has been broken for several months, and they promise to fix it time and again, but no resolution. It would be different if they explained the problem, as I understand that every business has challenges to deal with, but to promise something and not deliver again and again is unacceptable. We will be moving our items and reporting to Better Business Bureau.

I have been renting here for about a year. I recently needed to add space. Larger unit was not available. Property manager was very helpful in getting me to new units close to one another at a reasonable cost for both. She really went out of her way to get me the best situation possible for me and I greatly appreciate her effort. Overall I would definitely consider this location if you were looking for storage in the Perry area.

Staff very professional and helpful -- first, in setting up initial storage in the middle of a blizzard, and then in downsizing our unit after the move. Always first-rate, and the conditions at the facility are very clean, well-maintained, secure and well-lighted. (We moved in a blizzard, and the snow removal made access easy all winter long!)

I just got in last night from Georgia and needed a storage unit for my house hold goods and reserved one at Extra Space the following morning and they called me immediately saying they have one ready for me. The gentleman serving me was friendly and helpful. I am sure my time here will be worth it and Id recommend Extra Space Storage to anyone.

They helped us load our car on a flatbed when we were having difficulties. We traveled all the way from AZ to OH, and without them we would have never gotten our vehicle since the towing company chose not to show up. Very friendly and professional. Storage unit was worth the money!

It was very nice and easy to get a storage unit. It only took about 20 minutes to get a storage locker and that includes a ride in a golf cart to look at it. The lady at the front desk Sunshine was very nice and easy to work with. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

Very convenient with the location, great prices, friendly owner/staff. Very reasonable on what you can and cannot do (allows me to use a propane heater when i go work on my car) Only recommendation i would have would be climate control for the cold winters up here in Ohio. Soren

Super friendly and helpful staff. I was in and out in 20 minutes with my lease signed, keypad issues were fixed immediately and the office is very nice. Storage unit is spacious and easy to get the truck in and out. Im glad to be doing business here!
