Jeff provided excellent service in July and November 2016 for AC and Heating unit inspections. He is professional and transparent. 5 stars for Jeff Regarding the air duct cleaning in July 2016 - 2 stars - I think the workers were Troy and Ian. Troy seemed to know what he was doing and appeared to do the important work in the basement, but his answers about NADCA certification were not clear, and he did not properly supervise Ian, who seemed to be cutting corners. Consumers need to be very careful when receiving air duct cleaning service because the workers can pretty much do nothing and pretend they did a lot. Google "air duct cleaning fraud". Along those lines, I had some issues with the service provided: --I had to point out hidden vents and double check vents that had been purportedly cleaned. Obviously, they should have proactively and thoroughly completed this basic and necessary work without me reminding them and checking their work. --Some vent screens were not even removed (saw with my own eyes) - how could they have been cleaned? --Had to ask for full house walk through and explanation of work (they were about to leave without providing it) --Worst of all - They did not clean up - I spent an hour sweeping up dirt and dust left in basement and other rooms. It was pretty filthy.

On the hottest day of the year, the HVAC went out. At about 8:00 pm, I called Arco with an emergency service request, and the following day Jeff S (who we request for our semi-annual service) came to diagnose the problem. Shortly, he determined that the AC was not repairable, so we told Jeff to get the Sales person out as soon as possible. At 4:00 THAT SAME DAY, Jim arrived to spec and quote what we needed for a replacement AC Unit. We ordered the Unit and told him we needed to have it installed ASAP, due to my Wifes health problems. At 7:00 the following morning, Arco called to say the installers would be out that same afternoon to install the new AC. They arrived at 12:30 pm, and by 4:30 pm that day we were cooling the house down! Im very pleased with Arco and especially with Jeff S., who we will continue to ask for when we need servicing. Jim, from the sales group, was extremely professional and informative about our purchase options. THANK YOU ARCO FOR PROVIDING 5-STAR, EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Walter, your tech, arrived at my house as scheduled to install my toilet that I purchased from the Home Depot. I had already removed the old toilet myself. He looked at the job and said there would be an extra charge, above the $149 I paid Home Depot, for a new flange and a water-supply line. I had an extra flange, which he used and I told him the Home Depot paperwork said the water-supply line was suppose to be provided by the installer, but he kept insisting it was extra. He installed the toilet, but it rocked badly. He went to his truck and got two pieces of styrofoam, broke them in pieces and tried to level the toilet, which didnt work...it still rocked He said he had to get to another job and that was all he could do...REALLY. I paid him $94.98 and he left. I went to Home Depot and spent $2.99 for a package of toilet shims. I spent 15 minutes that night leveling the toilet with the shims...it doesnt rock now. You would think a plumber would have toilet shims on his truck.

Awful. Tech misdiagnosed a furnace problem on a very cold Friday evening and further advised me that the part he believed needed to be replaced could not be obtained in any way until Monday morning. In fact, the part could be obtained the next morning (I had to contact the local distributor on my own to find out). But, it turned out that the part wasnt the problem that needed fixing (I contacted a different contractor who correctly diagnosed the problem). When I contacted Arcos management to discuss the service errors, Jim, the operations manager, was not at all apologetic regarding the technicians failure to diagnose the problem and offered a weak excuse as to why the representation that the part was not available until Monday was not a lie (notwithstanding that I had contacted the distributor and knew better). Given Jims attitude and behavior, I believe the service experience I received reflects systemic problems with the organization.

Honestly not even one star. Never even had a chance to meet with them. I spoke with a very nice gentleman at the Home Depot about promotions they were running. Left my information with him, and he said someone so call to set up an estimate the following week. Not 15 minutes later I get a call requesting to set up an appointment. "Great! They are really on top of things" I thought to myself. Well we scheduled for the next available day, which was that following Wednesday. They said it was a time frame, between 5 and 8. I left work early that day to make sure I was here to meet with them. Well... waited... waited.... waited... and waited.. guess what no one showed up. No one called... nothing. So why make an appointment and not even call if your not going to show up? Oh well.. rant over...

I am not happy With your company. I thought a simple repair of a Humidifier would not be charged For. All Gino had to do was turn a valve. Then tole me how much a house call was. How much the repair Cost. How much better it would be if I jut signed up for your Contractor air and furnace check ups for next year. It ended up costing me $252.00. I Am a senior citizen with limited income. This Furnace was Just installed in April of 2015. They told me they were putting in a permanent filter. Which was A lie. We cleaned the filter believing it Was all that was necessary. I Gino said I should not put it back in the furnace. He gave me one that he had to cut to fit in. I would not recommend your Company to any of my friends or relatives.

Perry did a great job educating us on what furnaceac made sense for our condo. Afterwards, I felt like I was able to make a smart decision on which units to purchase. We went ahead with the purchase, and RickKyle showed up the next week to install. They were very friendly and professional and had everything installed in just a few hours. Overall, Im extremely happy with our purchase and will only work with Arco in the future! Edited to include followup service: A couple weeks after the HVAC install, we also the ductwork cleaned. Everet arrived on time, did the entire house in a few hours. The house was recently remodeled and had a lot of dust accumulation so the cleaning was much needed. Would recommend the service to anyone remodeling their homes.

I cant remember his name its a shame but I am proud to have met him he has a can do attitude and did do he delivered 110% we have a dryer vent that was clogged and I tried everything finally My wife said "Call the Man Aunt Bee " in reference to her adventures with buying a used freezer any way, the duct work is up in the second story and he was not taking no for an answer he ended up crawling in the crawl space and disassembling the duct work and finding a birds nest he unclogged it and all the lint and put a screen over the end my wife is happy to get her dryer back in working order. I cant say enough about the service and they will be the first we will call with our heating and cooling systems keep up the excellent work and God bless all of you.
