The service tech who came out to fix the problem gets 5 stars, but then they sent out a different person to see if they could get my insurance company to replace the entire kitchen... huh? So the problem I had was in a back bedroom. I have a "Lift Pump" which was clogged but it caused water to back up in the kitchen a tiny bit. I am talking like a few paper towels was enough to clean up. This "Salesman" lady comes in and starts talking about how she is going to get our homeowners insurance to replace the entire kitchen at no cost to us. She explains how they need to rip out all the cabinets and since they need to be ripped out to inspect and clean and dry behind, they get our insurance company to replace everything. "So dont worry, you will get a whole brand new kitchen for free" (thats the pitch). Meanwhile the actual plumber hasnt even gotten the lift pump apart to see what the actual issue is yet and here she is ready to rip apart my whole kitchen just because a cup sized amount of water came from under my cabinets. Yes, I know that isnt what is supposed to happen but can we at least find out what the problem is before you start talking about a $20,000+ replacement job? So she then "Suggests" that she has two men from the company come in and just "Inspect" before we do anything to make sure that this is what we "NEED" to do. Mean while she sits at my kitchen table using all her sales techniques that she can muster to keep the "fear of loss" going before the two other techs show up. Explaining how horrible this is and how mold will form and how this is going to end up costing all kinds of money if I do nothing. I am guessing that she works on strictly commission or a big majority of her pay is commission based by the way she made it seem like my home is infested with deadly materials that needs to be removed immediately. Once she finds out My insurance company has a $10,000 cap on replacement of kitchen equipment for this, her entire pitch now changes. Now all of a sudden they can just "Carefully pull the cabinets out" and put them back, but she will still do as much as she can for the $10,000. Thats odd, when she thought, my insurance could pay for all of it, all the cabinets were needing to be quarantined and thrown out. Now that the money isnt there they are definitely salvageable? weird! The two techs get there and I asked one question to the techs. "Since you just want to inspect, you want to pull off the kick plate and look and see under to see if there is damage or not. Can that kick plate be put back in or is it ruined by dismantling it and I need to replace the kick plate"? She was quick to tell me that the NEED to look under there and "here sign these papers" so we can start pulling things apart. Long story short, I had to kick them out of my house for trying to pressure me into filing a claim with my insurance company. I just called for a plumber to fix a problem not a kitchen replacement team. After all said and done the original tech who was working on the actual problem out in the back fixed it and only charged me the $174.00 which is what he promised it would cost and that fixed the issue. He was wonderful and was very helpful in explaining what he thought made sense for the future. I find this sales technique very disgusting, and quite possibly insurance fraud. Finding a loop hole in the system that allows a company to "Claim" that things need to be replace when they dont. SCAM ALAERT IN MY HEAD! I will have a different plumbing company come out and get a second opinion on the water that came from under the sink, but Im surely not going to sign my whole kitchen away just based on some Sales Vulture coming in and not even looking telling me my whole kitchen needs to be ripped out based on a cup sized amount of water. Horrible! BEWARE!

We had a noise in our walls that sounded like water running. I immediately turned off the water main and called Roto Rooter. We live in Orlando Florida and I had hear about them doing other repairs or installs for some of my neighbors. They came out the next day and the first technician could tell it was not in the walls once he removed some of the sheetrock, the leak was in the slab. He called another technician, Cesar (#2120) , who came out to do a leak detection test and determined the pipe was leaking under our hard wood floors. Since the house was 20+ years old we had a decision to make as to whether we wanted to repair an old copper pipe by removing the flooring and breaking the foundation or just go for the gusto and re-pipe the whole house. After talking with Cesar about our options and checking with our home owners insurance (which only covered the leak detection not the repair) we decided to go with the re-pipe. Two days later Cesar and Larry (#1537) came out to start the job. They first discussed what avenue they would run the pipes through the house and what challenges they saw when looking at our layout. Both Cesar and Larry listened to our concerns about where some of the pipes would have to been run since we were close to remodeling our bathroom and kitchen and wanted to remove some of the walls they were going to use. They came up with alternate plans and we were extremely please with the way we were able to collaborate with both of them. They initially said the re-pipe would take three days but after they saw how much my wife and daughter were struggling without water they decided to stay late over a two day period and got the job done! They were extremely professional and observant to all our needs and answered our questions completely and honestly. After the re-pipe we found that our water pressure was much better and we no longer had to wait for hot water in one of the bathrooms and we could have two showers going at once without fear of loosing pressure. Our ticket number is 17983162 if Roto Rooter wants to look up the details and see how great of a job these guys did. Thanks Cesar and Larry for getting water back to our family and helping us through this unexpected incident!

I woke up at 2 am yesterday morning to my kitchen sinks and toilet overflowing. Every drain in my apartment was filling with water it was a nightmare! I called the first 24 plumbing service on google and it just happened to be roto-rooter plumbing. Richard-4962 came out to help us and although he was nice he did a half ass job. He went outside to try to drain it (which by the way costs $375) and was put there for maybe 15-20 min. He came inside and told us that didnt work so he would have to pull the toilet out ($500). I asked if he could go through the sink because I really didnt want to pay $500 and he said he couldnt. How can you not go through the sink youre a plumber? He managed to fix the toilet and shower. He also told us our toilet was leaking and we needed to get it replaced. When I asked if he could do it he said he didnt have the part. My toilet is fine he was wrong. No leaks. After he fixed the bathroom he brought a bottle of drain solution and told me he couldnt fix the kitchen and that I would have to go to the front office. MY DISHWASHER WAS LEAKING ALL OVER THE FLOOR AND IT WAS 3 in the morning. So after he left I did my best to contain the water and fell asleep for 2 hours. I woke to my my kitchen floor covered in water. I called roto-rooter again and told them they needed to send someone EXPERIENCED out to help us. Thank God they sent Hyppi-4869!!!! He was AWESOME! If it wasnt for him this wouldve been a 1 star review. He was extremely nice and didnt rush the process and actually fixed our problem! We worked on our kitchen for 3 1/2 hours and was very nice the whole time. He promised he would not leave until everything was perfect and he definitely fulfilled his promise! If you ever need an excellent plumber you shoul ask for HYPPI-4869 HES THE BEST!
