Appointment was at 10. No work was done until 11. Every other customer after me who walked in was given the courtesy warning they were behind. Not punctual. Do not honor their appointments. Not professional. The only customer with an appointment and I was just expected to wait. Oil changes with an appointment shouldnt take 2 hours. Wont be back. So I followed up with Midas as they requested. I gave them the courtesy of explaining how they had rudely and dishonestly wasted an hour of my time and then performed one of the slowest oil changes in history. All I asked was that because this was a continued waste of my time, that they not call me at work. Not only did they call me at work. They called twice. Once just to tell me they were about to call me. When I told them I didnt have time to talk, they offered to close out the complaint as resolved. I got a snarky phone call from a district manager, who wanted me to waste my personal after hours time explaining the situation to him. As if I hadnt written it to them here and twice in emails. Poor communication. Terrible, terrible complaint resolution. Oil changes are not hard to come by. Take your business elsewhere unless you want to waste an entire day with these guys and be treated like dirt in the process and afterwards. Midas of Solon, Ill be billing you for my office time yesterday that you so rudely interrupted. Follow instructions.

I was referred here by a co-worker. She spoke highly of this particular location. She expressed her gratitude for the friendliness and honesty. Naturally, I made Midas of Solon my choice for brake check/tires/alignment. I was very impressed with the friendliness of the girl at the counter, who went out of her way to offer me a phone charger, snacks, and water while I was there. They showed me exactly what was wrong with my car (took me out to the garage). I was really impressed with my experience! _______ Update: (The above review was posted about 3 months ago.) This past weekend I made a 5-hour trip to Indianapolis. Upon stopping for gas about 2 hours into the trip, I noticed one of my tires was very low. I tried to inflate it & it wouldnt take any air. I realized that the valve stem was leaking. After my last trip to Solon Midas, I realized my hubs were incorrectly put on (didnt line up with lugs), I have no idea if this was the cause, or if it was just a bad valve stem. Either way, I called triple-A to get my old spare put on. My trip continued. I emailed Paul at Solon Midas to let him know what had happened. He told me to come in when I can. Today I did and they repaired the valve stem at no cost, and with no hassles at all. Very, very pleased. Ill definitely continue to use Midas of Solon!

Jesse Baugher, the manager at Midas Solon, has erased all of these concerns from my mind, my car runs like a watch thanks to his excellent attention to detail and his top notch crew. The first thing youll notice is how Jesse takes care of you from the moment you walk into the store. Make sure you as for him when you walk in. Youll be treated with respect. Hell never hard sell you on anything, but he will tell you in detail what their diagnostics show about your car. Hell tell you what should be fixed right away, what can wait, when there might be sales, best time of year to get things done. Midas in Solon is not just a muffler shop. Had the front rotors and pads replaced and still had a squeak. They took their time to track down the issue and fix it right--> through no fault of theirs, the anti-lock sensor had broken loose AND the rear drums had glazed over (probably should have been replaced after 150,000 miles). They were professional, friendly, communicative and helpful. While I was there, Jason greeted everyone who came through the door personally and obviously remembered them, because he either asked about their family or their car. This is the kind of small-town feel that makes you feel good about your choice to take your car there. I will definitely be taking my other car there when it needs service, and Ive already shared my positive experience with co-workers.

The work - an alignment = 25min (including final road test) The wait = 2.5hrs The reason = what reason? It was scheduled in advance for first thing in the morning on a non-busy weekday Cost = nothing special...I could have gone to a dealer Quality = unclear, but I do question measurement error for my camber being "out" on a vehicle that is factory fixed by design without any accidents. I will get it remeasured and update this over time. If it comes out close, no change, if it comes out far, then Im even more pissed at them trying to sell me $500 adjustable joints I didnt need and will drop to 1-star = avoid at all costs. Ill go someplace else, thanks.

Total waste of time Brought my car there because it was had a leaky exhaust. They look at it and said bring it back tomorrow at 1 and they could weld it. I brought it back at 1. At 1:30 they said they "had no idea how long it would take". I complained and at 2pm they put it on a lift. They then said it needed new parts and could not be welded. They said "it will be very expensive". They couldnt give me a price. What kind of business is this? Very unprofessional and seemed like they just wanted to get rid of me. Will never go back.

First off, let me just say THANK YOU! The customer service here is second to none! The people are honest, caring, and knowledgeable. I brought my car in to get new outer ty rods, new tires, and a alignment, but rather than having me sitting around waiting for hours Dee took me home, called me back when my car was ready, came back and picked me up!! My car has never run better and I will be back with my wifes car as well. If youre looking for a place to go for repairs, MIDAS should be your one-stop destination!!!

i recently got an estimate from Conrads down the street to get brake work done on my car. I then went online to see how expensive the parts were since the estimate was so high; they had marked it up double! I went to midas down the street and had the same job done in addition to having other work done for the same price at midas. They also got it done the same day and pointed out and explained on the car what they had done. Midas will be getting my business in the future for sure.

I was looking for wiper blades and this was one of the only places that even had the sizes I needed in stock. I pulled in and they got right to work by the time they brought my receipt back to me they had the new ones on and filled up the fluids for me. I know this is not a major service by any means but the quality of service and speed was enough for me to go back for other services that they offer. I will up date this review after a few more visits (2.15.15)
