We had an odd whistling noise coming from the main water line one night that suddenly got louder by the hour. I knew it needed to be addressed quickly, so I looked up plumbing businesses on the BBB website and found this company as the closest to me. I called at around 10pm with intentions of simply leaving a message. Rick Konop actually answered the phone and I described what was happening. He told me right away it sounded like there was a broken pipe under the slab. He asked if he could call the next day to set up a time to stop by. Sure enough, he called shortly after 8am the following day! He said he could be there between 2-4pm that day, and was there around 2:30pm. He diagnosed the problem and explained everything thoroughly. His original consensus was correct and he came the following day to fix the issue. He was right on time and did everything in exactly the time frame as predicted. Luckily for us, the leaky pipe was an unused pipe leading to what would be a humidifier for the HVAC! I had him cut out that line and cap it off, install new shutoffs and check valve since it made sense at that point, and I had him extend a line directly outside for another water spigot for the side of the house. The job was done correctly and he was right on task! I definitely recommend his service. He was able to do it quickly, but I understand that sometimes business gets backed up, so we got lucky on that. That fact that he knew exactly what to do and performed the repair professionally is the biggest thing.

I was the motorist who you flipped off this morning while entering I-75 N at the Austin Road interchange. I noted the phone number on your truck and wanted you to know that your unprovoked sign of road rage did not go unnoticed. I was entering the highway and saw that you were tailgating me. As the road was icy and slick, I was using precaution. I slowed to allow a truck to pass so that I could merge left out of the lane to 675, as I needed to go N on 75. You went out of your way to accelerate and catch up to me to flip me off—across four lanes of traffic. My point in contacting you is to let you know that your behavior when you thought you were being anonymous says more about you than your claims of being a “Christian owned and operated” service company.

RK Plumbing has been to our house several times and I highly recommend him! We were stood up by another highly recommended local plumber so I called Rick who came out the next day and fixed our problem. While here he noticed our dryer vent was not installed properly and promptly fixed that, potentially saving us from a future house fire! He always answers his phone when you call, is courteous, prompt and efficient! Our go-to guy for plumbing and HVAC!

Look, no one likes paying for these types of services. But you are going to have to at some point. And if you do, you want a pro with extensive knowledge & whos a great troubleshooter. Rick Konop is that pro! I have had Rick over for hot water heater replacement , HVAC work, and a backed up drain. Excellent work at reasonable prices. Im giving RK Plumbing this unsolicited review because they earned it. Good & honest work - give them a try!!
