Called Hammond to diagnose a problem with standing water in our yard. Russell determined it was a break in our main sewer line. He determined that he could CIPP the line to fix the problem but that it would cost $7,500. If he dug up the line it would cost even more. I was able to dig up the sewer line myself with my new $10 shovel. I found the break in the line (a 4"union had broken up against the house and the main line had dropped 3"). Went to Home Depot and spent $70 on the new 4"PVC pipe, 2 rubber fittings plus a couple other items to finish the job. 4 hours later and only $80 out of my pocket, the sewer line was fixed. There is NO WAY that CIPP thing Russell proposed would have worked. The line to the septic tank had dropped too far down. The other option he gave me was to dig up the entire pipe and replace it. Seriously! They would have torn down my front porch and busted up the concrete to my driveway for a 4 foot section of pipe. All because he didnt want to hand dig a small hole to find the problem. Pathetic!! I will never call them again! The method they were going to try and use to fix my problem would never have worked and instead of taking the time to hand dig a small hole, they wanted to tear everything out to replace the whole pipe. Total Rip off/scam artists. I was going to give them 2 stars because he actually did find the problem by running the camera into the main sewer line. But he only did that after calling 2 other guys to get their opinion. So you only get 1 star.

We recently moved into a house in Newnan, GA and quickly found out the AC unit and furnace were in need of replacing. We had the HVAC system replaced with financing. The entire experience was quick and painless and Hammonds techs are very professional. Fast forward a week later and Hammond checked an issue I had been monitoring related to the relief valve on the water heater constantly discharging water - enter Keith. Keith diagnosed a bad PRV in an instant by checking the water pressure in the house and determined the expansion tank may be bad (the CPVC connecting the water heater to the expansion tank was inadequate to support the weight of the tank so it had been previously installed with a fabric strap). After digging up the old PRV and getting the new one installed Keith forged ahead, removing the expansion tank, old CPVC, and reinstalling it with new copper as to eliminate the fabric strap. Realizing the expansion tank was still good he informed me that wed not need to purchase a new one. Once we waited the long, and arduous 30 minutes for the glue to dry we turned on the water at the road and then at the water heater - checking for any leaks and then verifying that the house water pressure was at a normal PSI. All in all the entire process was about 2 hours and Keith was very personable, professional, and informative; I learned more about plumbing than any other day in my life. I would wholeheartedly recommend Hammond for any HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical needs anyone might have.

On the morning of Sat. 6-3-2017, my drain pipe became obstructed, which later was revealed to be attributed to tree root growth into the main drainage pipe. I called Hammond Services even though it was a weekend, and they came out and worked until 2:30 a.m.Sunday 6-4-2017 removing the obstruction to allow drainage of virtually every type of drainage liquid. This, of course, revealed the source of the problem and that the fix would be to remove and replace a section of drainage pipe. Not to mention removal of the trees causing the problem. Well, yesterday, 6-14-2017, within eight hours the job was accomplished in a professional and correct way by Mr. Willie Quick. My late wife and I have been customers of Hammond Services since 1995, and this is just one of the many stories of great, quick and professional service. Now that I am a widower alone, it is most comforting to know Hammond Services is only a call away, no matter what time of day or night. Thanks again for taking good care of me and my dwelling of 35 years. God bless all of you, and God bless America! Your old customer, Dr. Paul Hagan

We had to have our house re-piped because unfortunately we had the polybutylene pipes installed when the house was first built back in 1996, that was banned shortly there after, which we knew nothing of until we had a leak in guess bathroom. Hammonds came out immediately for that leak and at that time quoted us, in writing, the cost of repiping through out our home. 2.5 months later they still honored the quote! Joe, our plumber, had several issues with the way our home was plumb at construction. All these issues that were encountered and overcome didnt cost me a penny more than the quote! Joe was exceptional, he was patient, professional and very neat in his work and cleaned up that days debris everyday. We even got a shower control moved to opposite wall in master bath at no extra charge! We love this company! They are our plumbers and we have them as our Home Maintence Company as well, which includes 2 scheduled HVAC tune-ups per year with 25 plus point inspection, for only $150/yr! This company is available 24/7 and they stand behind what they and their professional service is guaranteed.

Worst experience ever. Technician was suppose to come and diagnose problem, and then the cost if repairing the problem (it was a flat rate). He found one problem, quoted me a Price, I agreed... He fixed it and then when I turned the water back on there was another leak in the pipe next to the "original leak".... Was there REALLY a leak in the first pipe, or was it run off from the other pipe squirting ?? I dont know, he was supposed to be the expert, right ? So then another $130 from the original quote and I expressed my concern about the diagnosis being wrong,, and boy did I hit a nerve. "Do you want me to fix it or not ??!!" Really ? These pipes were above my water heater in an unfinished basement... No searching, no ceiling, everything right there easy to see. NEVER will I call this company again !

Our hot water heater went out on Friday night 7-14-17 at 10 pm and I called Hammond Services and they were able to come out Saturday morning which was a huge blessing considering many companies were closed on the weekend or were open but couldnt come til Monday. They sent me a text with my technicians name and picture so I knew who to look for. Marty and Kyle came and were awesome. They were able to come out earlier than expected, which was great because we were completely without water. We had to get a new water heater and expansion pack as well as upgrading the water pressure reducing valve. They explained the different options and were able to recommend products. They made sure everything was working properly and cleaned up before they left. I will definitely be using them again.

To be honest Hammond Service was not the first company I called but they will be in the future. The first call went to a very well-known company in our area but they did not answer the phone. Guess on a Saturday that is expected for 24/7 advertised service??? So off to the yellow pages and saw Hammond Services add so gave them a buzz… and got an answer. The young lady was great to chat with and we quickly had an appointment set up. From the time Willie showed up to until the time he left he was great to work with. He was very down to earth, professional, and fantastic to chat with. The job was done quickly and the bathroom didn’t have signs that he had been there. I highly recommend Hammond Services if you are in my area (Newnan, Ga)
