I could not be happier with my experience at Mode of Expression! I went in to go from my natural brown hair to purple, and it came out better than I could have hoped for. TRel is an artist with color! He gave me the exact shades of purple I wanted for the base and for the highlights. My new hair looks amazing to begin with, but when the light hits the highlights, its a whole new level of awesome. I also got a trim with Raven. Ive been growing out a terrible haircut for a while now, so I didnt want any more than a trim, but Raven worked her magic and took off just the right amount from the ends and cleaned up the shape of my layers so that my hair looks light and has great movement. The atmosphere at the salon was great, I felt like I was hanging out with my best friends the whole time. When I went to check out, I was amazed at the price. I couldnt believe how low it was for all over color, highlights, and a cut. I will definitely be going back, and I will definitely be recommending Mode of Expression to everyone!

I just moved into the area and decided to try a new salon. I love the atmosphere of the salon, and loved my stylist the first time I went. I asked for Ombre lightened with warm and natural brown color as my natural hair color is dark brown & haircut .... What I got was hair that used to be very long till the end of my back and is now up to my shoulders!!!! It was NOTHING like the picture I brought it. And the color was an awful color it turns orange especially in the sun !! I hate my hair. I feel so awful about myself instead of better. I didnt say anything right then because thats just a really awkward situation especially since the lady was very nice. I didnt call back because Ive to travel outside the USA next week and I was so busy with my baby & I dont have time to waste ... So, I went home and colored my own hair but I couldnt fix the orange color !! Im really disappointed!! This is my first time to write a review !!! I did it because I always cry at how bad my hair looked everyday !!

I love Mode of Expression! Raven is the best. She has a wonderful attitude and works with me to figure out what I want. I get bored easily with my hair and she always comes up with something I love. I had so many problems in the past with other places. I would tell them what I wanted and it never turned out right. I dont have to worry about that here. Thank You!

Not only do all the stylists do a wonderful job, the salon is a fun atmosphere that makes you feel like youre among friends while there. Stylists Heidi, Raven & TRel are so skilled and creative.
