Diana: I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you! Joe and his crew were amazing. I know that the move in date got shifted - but I do have to say that Joe and his team took good care of me! As a single woman doing my first major move, I was nervous about what to expect. Joe and his team operated with such efficiency and such respect towards not just my belongings but to me as well. They helped box up the last minute items that always seem to overwhelm people. They helped move my furniture and carpeting around in my new place. I kept trying to get them to call me by my first name instead of mam - but they insisted upon a level of respect that placed me at ease. Everyone at your company has been more than welcoming and helpful. You all were with me every step of the way and helped answer my questions no matter how silly they might have been. The care that Joe and his team took was impressive. I would recommend your company again. I think that Joe is such a kind and wonderful leader. I just thought you should know how much I respect what you and his team has done to help me move to a new city. I could not imagine using another company. I know you all work hard and I know that no one is ever very happy when they are moving - but Joe and his team and you have made everything much easier. My many,countless thanks! Recently, University Moving & Storage (UMS), West Chester, Ohio, relocated us from Ohio to California. This major move was clearly the best (of many) we have experienced. Estimating was accurate; a Not-to-Exceed (NTE) was provided. A move coordinator was assigned and stayed closely involved. Most importantly, the packing-and-moving team was efficient and careful with our goods. The driver and leader, Mr Ken Bojarski, demonstrated exceptional capability and professionalism. On the delivery end, he backed his semi down a narrow lane; this difficult feat reduced the distance from truck to building. Extra effort and costs were avoided. In short, UMS proved to be outstanding in service and trustworthy. (A refund of some charges below the NTE showed up in our charge account). Should we require a future move, we intend to hire UMS again even if starting outside of Ohio.

The only good part of our move was the truck driver that picked up our stuff in Salem, Oregon and delivered it to N. Fond Du Lac, Wi. He was the only one that contacted us to tell us our things would be late. He even kept us updated on his drive across america. Bob was caring, thoughtful and he and his helpers were wonderful on the day our things did get to us. He went beyond helping us get settled. He even went back to his semi to get his drill to put holes in our new love seat, so he could put the legs on for us--who does things like that in this day and age ?? Thank you isnt enough for how much this man did for us. But it will have to do.

These movers are PROFESSIONALS. From my initial contact to the last signature at delivery everyone with whom I interacted was pleasant and knowledgeable about the service. My move was complicated because I was relocating elderly parents almost 1000 miles. I couldnt be on the loading end of the contract but everything arrived well packaged and unbroken. Thank you very much University Moving and Storage and North American Van Lines...you made a stressful situation less complex and more restful.

Their employees stole valuables (jewelry, cash, coins) and the company refuses to acknowledge wrongdoing. Many items were broken as well. The worst customer service imaginable and the worst overall moving experience imaginable.
