I went there to have a manicure and full set of tips put on. I had received a $100 gift card and wanted to use it. The young lady immediately looked at my hands and with a somewhat disgusted look on her face said, " I cannot guarantee that they are going to look nice or stay on because your nail bed is so small". I have a vey short nail bed, and I know this! I have been getting my nails done for over 15 yrs and have never run into issues. I asked her how experienced she was doing full sets of artificial nails and she told me she does them a few times a month. I told her that I usually go to a very nice Vietnamese girl and she never has issues. The girl then told me, "no offense , but Im not use to doing nails like THOSE people." I then told her to not worry about the full set but to at least push back my cuticles and give me a manicure. If you have ever had a manicure you know they typically start by soaking your nails in a WARM watery solution- this makes it easy for the tech to cut back the cuticles by softening them . Not this girl! She brought over a COLD bowl of water and only had me soak for about a minute. She then attempted to push back my cuticles and cut them, but instead made me bleed. Half way through it I demanded that she stop. It was too painful. She told me no charge and apologized. I walked out....somewhat humiliated :-( The next day the front desk manager of the salon, Vicky, called me to apologize and offer me some complimentary service . She had heard from several people what had happened and wanted to make it up to me. I told her I had to think about it and I would call them back. I was honestly skeptical about going back, but decided to give them one more chance, but NOT with my nails. I am going to get a 90 minute massage and a deep cleaning facial....As of right now my rating is at 2 stars and thats only because I thought the place was well decorated. I am going this weekend for my services and hopefully Charles Scott Salons & Spas can change my mind. Well its been about a week later and I got my massage and facial. The facial was amazing! Brenda the esthetician was very professional and informative. I am definitely going back for a facial and would recommend this service with Brenda! After my facial it was time for my massage; Imagine my shock when a young lady that looked to be around 38 weeks pregnant told me she was my masseuse. I have nothing against pregnant woman- Ive had 4 children myself, but I was so worried about her that I just could not enjoy my massage. I was originally scheduled for 90 minutes, but I told her 1 hour would be sufficient. The next day I went home and later on in the evening my back was killing me. She was a little rough even thought I asked her to soften her touch. Like I said earlier, The only reason I went there is because I was given a gift card. When I went to the front desk I asked if I would be able to tip the esthetician with the remaining balance of my gift card was told no. It was only for services at the spa. So Brenda if you ever read this I will tip you next time I go to Crocker Park....I just didnt have cash or a credit card on me that day. Right Now I am going to give the place 3.5 stars

I will never go back. Went there once and had the worst blow out ever with no straight ironing. The cosmetology students do a better blow out and ALOT cheaper. (River) Went back again (West) and scheduled a highlight, retouch, toner, and hair cut. The receptionist scheduled me for an hour. I have long hair and I was in cosmetology school so I knew there was no way this was happening. I called back and scheduled more time. When I arrived at the appointment the reception desk completely ignored me and talked amongst themselves. I had to wait for them to stop talking to tell them myself who I was. Then I just stood there. I actually had to tell them I had never been there before and asked if I should just sit down. I was then greeted by the stylist who told me she only had time for a retouch and toner. She said the reception desk had not scheduled her enough time. REALLY?!?!?! I was so upset. The stylist was pleasant but I was so mad I almost walked out. I gave the remaining balance of a gift certificate ($60.00) to someone I know who actually likes the place. I would never go back....even for free. Dont believe the hype on this overpriced, over glorified salon.

Ive only ever had my eyebrows waxed at this salon, but the receptionist is always kind enough to work me in for a walk-in appointment. The estheticians are awesome too, very gentle, and very skilled at their craft. Their price is a bit high, but because its such a good quality wax, I dont mind paying a little more. I will definitely try out their other services in the future!

My Fiancee went there for her preliminary up-do a few weeks prior to our wedding. She was very unhappy with the results, having the stylist try *3* times to get it right. She came home and less than an hour later, the $100+ styling job was already falling out. And this was supposed to last for the whole day for our wedding? Never spending our money there again!

Ive been getting my haircut here for the past 12 years, always have had great service and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. I have always gotten a basic haircut but I would like to try more advanced styles sometimes. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who looks for a great haircut and friendly environment.

I had an aromatherapy massage with Kim and a spa pedicure with Lucy and was very impressed with both. Even though I arrived a little late because I managed to get lost in Crocker Park, I was treated with kindness and wasnt rushed. I would definitely recommend coming here for a relaxing treat!

they are the worst that I ever see the girl in front desk very bad she even dont wellcom the customer she iswith grumpy face. and the service very bad they spoil my hair this is my first and last visit .I dont remember the girl who didi my hair but her name start with R

I always look forward to my hair appointment. My hair is straight and very difficult to cut because it shows every little mistake. I have tried different hair salons to find someone that can cut my hair to my liking. Randi at CS West does a fantastic job!

Easy to get appointments. Great staff. Prices a tad on the high end for services performed, but have always had good results. Been getting my hair cut here for over 10 years now.
