So I just relocated to the Cleveland area and decided to get my hair done at Head Quarters Salon Aveda in Crocker Park. Bad choice, this is NOT the salon to go to if you have natural African American/highly textured, coarse hair. My hair looked ok when the stylist was done; but by the time I got home LITERALLY 30 minutes later on a blue-skied, low-humidity autumn day, my hair had poofed up like a Macy day balloon. (I kinda had doubts about the stylists technique but didnt say anything because she is the professional and maybe she just had another way of doing things). I called the salon the next day to explain what had happened and was told that the style was only meant to last the day of...so 30 minutes later doesnt count as day of?? FANTASTIC customer service right??! And for the record, Ive had my hair straightened without chemicals before and each time it stayed straight for AT LEAST a week. Also, I find it a bit discriminatory that Aveda doesnt have a stylist that can handle my hair type. Shouldnt a licensed professional be able to do all hair types REGARDLESS of its texture? What a waste of money and waste of time. I thought aveda would be my one-stop-shop for hair care and facials, guess I was wrong.

I have been going to Headquarters for about a year now and I love it! I currently see Ashley and she is great. She really helps me to achieve the look Im going for with my hair. Previously I saw Elliott and he was also great! I went in telling him I wanted to be AS BLONDE AS POSSIBLE an he made it happen! Ashley always recommends the products I need most that help me with growth/damage. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone!

Following my stylists suggestion, I got highlights and a color. What beautiful result from Alison my stylist. The service we receive by all of the staff during our entire experience is AWESOME! I was a new customer that asked to be squeezed in for a cut an consultation ASAP. I talked to Ali about my hair and what I wanted (to be honest I really wasnt sure), and she helped me decide what to do. She then squeezed me in for highlights and did an INCREDIBLE job. Im serious when I say AMAZING. Everyone has been complementing me about my new hair. My only regret is that I dont think i tipped her enough.

Ive been seeing Maggie for massages for about five years now, and she is, hands down, the BEST masseuse Ive EVER been to! She makes you very comfortable and just seems to intuitively know which muscles needs help. I always walk, no, I FLOAT, out of one of her massages feeling like a million bucks! I HIGHLY recommend!

I have been going to this salon for 3 years now for color weave and hair cuts. Melissa is wonderful and truly an artist at her job. I recently started bringing my teenage daughter to the salon and she too is amazed at the results. I highly recommend Melissa!!
