EDIT: Its months later, but I just realized after ironing and hanging one of the shirts this place damaged, that they wrote my last name in PERMANENT marker on the inside of each shirt near the last few buttons where it would be tucked in. Functionally it doesnt hurt the shirt (and since that area is reinforced you cant see the pen from the outside), but its still aggravating since they damaged the shirts originally. I view this as one more way they damaged the shirts and I wouldnt put it past them to do this for blazers, suits, or coats as well. BTW, It seems like the shirts have regained some of their normal texture after multiple washings, but I double theyll ever go completely back to normal. Summary: -------------- Three shirts _hand ironed only_ should have cost 1.65 each. On pickup the shirts looked fine. Once home and unwrapped, the shirts had a "new" sheen, were slightly faded, and were wrinkled on the upper sleeves and around the shoulders. If they had been any good, I would have taken my coats and blazers there, but now I will definitely not take any more garments to them and would give them 0 stars if I could. Too bad, as it seems to be a family business and this is the only cleaner in walking distance. Full Story: ------------- So this is the only cleaner within a mile-and-a-half radius, and as Im a college student, I wanted to walk. I called them first to see how much it would be to just get shirts _ironed_ and forgo the dry cleaning or laundering. The clerk (who seemed to want to get off the phone as soon as possible) told me $1.65 for a hand-pressing, so I figured that would be ok and I wouldnt get the damage that usually occurs from having items machine pressed. That afternoon I took three shirts in as a test to see whether or not I could use this place for my coats and blazers. When I arrived, no customers were in the store, but again the staff (which I concluded is just the couple who own the place) seemed in the biggest hurry to get me out asap. Skip forward to a week later, and when I pick up the shirts, they are in plastic and the sleeves are nicely folded to the front. When I got home though, I found that not only did the fabric have a "new" unwanted sheen and texture, the shirts also each had small damage spots near the collar on the back, and when I unfolded the sleeves and looked at the shoulders and collar, there were plenty of wrinkles put in by the ironing. It looks as if they machine pressed the shirts even though the clerk specifically told me they would hand press them. The collars are nice and the front and back panels look great, but whats the use of professional pressing if the garments come back wrinkled on the shoulders and parts of the sleeves? I could just as easily have done this job myself, and saved the shirts from the damage. I can only conclude that the reason for the altered sheen was either too much heat from the press that damaged the fibers, or the shirts were actually badly dry cleaned when I did not request it. The same goes for the damage spots, which look a lot like scorch marks. Either way, totally unsatisfactory job and I will not be using them again. Its a shame really as it looks like its a family business, but I guess I got what I paid for in terms of quality of service and in terms of the cleaner actually listening to what I wanted.

Just moved to Eugene. On recommendation of a friend, took three items to this cleaners...two that I stated just need steamed for wrinkles from being boxed for the move. The other was a White/Black, spendy cream-colored jacked that I only wore ONCE! It had a tiny speck of makeup on the collar, which was pointed out to them to remove. I said the main reason I brought it in was to steam the wrinkles out so I could wear it. I picked up my three items, and against my better judgement, didnt inspect the items before leaving. When I got home, took off the plastic, not only was the makeup stain still there, it was more wrinkled than before I dropped it. It must have been exposed to high heat, as the seams were all puckered! I told my friend who recommended them, and she finally admitted some problems with this place! I will take this to a more reputable cleaners next week, see what they can do. Forgot to mention, took it back to White/Black store and they were aghast and tried to steam the wrinkles and puckered Seans to no avail. DO NOT USE HIGH TECH!!

Unable to give much info because they refused to dry clean and comb (for pills) my pants. Without even looking at them! Skopils does a great job every time, I was just hoping to try these guys because they are closer. But they apparently didnt need my business!

Ive been using them for years for washing and pressing shirts, with occasional dry cleaning for suits. Zero problems, just reliable service at good prices. Theyll also get stains out if you point them out when you drop off.
