I have used the Cleanery for over 5 years now, I took some clothes in on June 25th 2015, 1 brand new button up shirt I had bought that day $90, 2 pairs of brand new shorts I had bought that day $45 each, and my daughters dress, $210 which was a few months old. I needed the clothes back the following day for a wedding that was that Saturday the 27th. I picked up the clothes and was on my way. I was sitting at the wedding and started to smell a horrible smell. I told my girlfriend that somebody around us stinks, it was bad! Little did I know, it was me. The more I sweat, the more I smelt. I was so damn embarrassed. After the reception I went back to the car, took off the shirt and put on a Haines V neck T shirt, not something you would wear to a wedding. I felt like an ass. When I got home that night, I smelt the other clothes I had cleaned, and they all smelt the same, horrible. The smell was like moldy towels that sat in the washer for a week, then dried. When I took all the clothes back to the Cleanery the following day June 28th, the workers there had told me that they had a new repair guy, and the Solvent that they use to clean was Bad. I told them that I would like my $35.00 back for the cleaning, and I would like the clothes cleaned again. The People I spoke with told me that when the solvent is bad and you sweat in the clothes, the smell gets worse and worse, and that is exactly what happened to me. After they cleaned the clothes for the 2nd time, the smell was still there. Mind you, the clothes were brand new except for the dress. I took the shorts to clean them myself at home, and left the Shirt and Dress for a 3rd cleaning. I went back to pick up the Shirt and Dress after the 3rd cleaning and the shirt still smelt, but the dress smelt really bad. A few weeks had gone by, At that point I gave them a copy of my receipt for the shirt, and told them I would like them to replace my shirt for a brand new one, as I had just purchased it. No one had contacted me at all to try and resolve this. I finally spoke with a gal that was very helpful. She told me that she would talk with the owner and get back to me. I wanted the Dress and Shirt replaced as the value of them both was over $300.00. Mary, who was helping me told me that she spoke with the owner, the owner said that they have been doing this for a very long and my clothes do not smell. I couldnt believe it. Mary then told me that the owner will not cover the cost of my clothes, instead they would give me a $50.00 credit. Why the hell would I go back after they ruined my clothes. I told Mary that I would like to speak with the owner. Owner of the Cleanery refused to call me and resolve this. Mary and I spoke on a few different occasions, and I could tell that she was trying hard to fix this. I asked her to speak with the owner again, as I was not satisfied with a business ruining my clothes, then not replacing them. Mary called me back and told me that the owner will still not speak with me and will not cover the cost of the clothes that still smell after 3 cleanings. I couldnt believe this is how they operate. After their own employees told me why the clothes smelt, and explained the exact experience that I had with the smell, they still wont replace them. Very Very poor customer service on the owners behalf. They have lost my business, and I will share this story with everyone I know. Thank you to Mary for all your help, but shame on the owner of the Cleanery for damaging a cusomers clothes and not being responsible for them. If I had to rate them on a scale of 1-10, they would be a negative 10. #POORCUSTOMERSERVICE!!

They do a great job with everything Ive brought them over the years, including uniforms, slacks, dresses, curtains. Theyre very fast, reasonably priced and polite. I cant say enough, Im very happy with their service.
