First, I dont want to enter a contest to write a good review - that is not a review. It is good they have a six month guarantee and come out again. The first visit seemed expensive $215 since it was just a simple clean out. I was given the price of $195 - should have been told there was a coupon for $30 right on the site. The problem was not fixed - still clogged a few days later. Second guy did come out and did much more and used camera and finally pulled out a giant root ball. I asked an 8 foot section could be done since he was right there - first quoted another full charge. This should have been part of the job. Finally agreed after calling the office - as if I was asking for the moon. It is part of the job. Finally done, but not on the first try - that just got it running with a bare minimum of work. The last section was looked at with the camera - just said it is fine. I am not sure it is fine ----maybe. Look out for the quick fix with no camera and only doing part of the line... It is fixed now -maybe - but I will use another service next time.

$$SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!! I am beyond glad we decided to go elsewhere for our plumbing issue. The estimate Roto-rooter gave us (with a military discount) was $400-700 depending on how long the job was. When the plumber arrived he took a look at the problem said it was a huge project and would need to call another plumber to get into the crawl space (the plumber who arrived was obese and no way he was fitting in the crawl space, not trying to fat shame anyone just pointing out the facts). So, we told him we were going to hold off, he left furious as can be. We had Peterson plumbing fix the problem, it took them 30 minutes (they did not need to go into the crawl space) and oh it was only $129.00. Not sure if roto-rooter was attempting to take advantage of my partner and I because of our semi-young age or if their prices are just insane. Whatever you do, get multiple estimates. I STRONGLY do not recommend this company.

My experience takes place in Eugene. The plumber Aaron was here so fast I couldnt believe it! I guess after patiently waiting for my husband (who is NOT a plumber might I add) trying to fix our clog for 2 days, Aaron was a welcome sight to see... It was like in the commercials where you hear that noise like angels..... Aaahhhhhhhh! No really we were both so happy to see him even tho it was a disaster in our home. Didnt take him long to fix our clogged drains. I really figured it was going to cost much more than it did, so I was very happy with my bill considering all we had been through. He was kind, cleaned up after himself and very nice :) We also got a guarantee, never thought that was something that was offered (nice surprise). I can tell you this, if we ever have another problem, Aaron at Roto-rooter we will be calling! Thank you again

OMG Weve been walking around with our noses plugged for almost a week. It finally occurred to us that maybe our toilet had become disconnected from the sewage line (long story), so we called Roto-Rooter. A guy came to the house within an hour of my call, bravely squeezed through an unreasonably small crawlspace (another long story), and found not a cesspool (thank goodness!), but a dead possum!! The fee was seriously the best money Ive spent all year. In fact, you couldnt pay me enough to investigate such a foul odor in such tight quarters. I have no idea what this incredibly brave roto-rooter guy gets paid per hour, but he deserves a raise. Plus an all-expense paid vacation to somewhere that smells lovely to make up for what he had to endure today. :-)

We paid for a sewer scope to be performed and were told we would receive a call back the same day with results. The tech would not start the service until we paid upfront, which we did. After eight days and several calls later, we are now being told the tech has to go back out to the house (not for another five days) because they need to look at it again due to it being an old house. We ordered this service so we could close on our house. This seems to be a blatant attempt to sell a service by withholding information. UPDATE: The local manager and regional owner have been in contact and worked to rectify the situation. Its unfortunate the situation happened but they did try their best to make it right.

We had just been hit by a very severe plumbing/ septic problem at a very very hard time. There was family from out of State that were here for a funeral. Roto- Rooter came out for the emergency call and some how kept a very good attitude to help us. As it turned out we needed major work done for a total repair. They obtained the emergency permit, then quickly began the repairs. With the hard rain in Eugene, they worked on the project and somehow kept a great attitude to help us through a very hard time. I have to give them many, many Thanks for what they did and what they put up with to do it for us. Thank You very much- Needless to say " Job Well Done"

The crew was great. Came to our rental property on City View in Eugene,OR. Explained very clearly our sewer problem and the best solution. The bid for the work planned was much less than a competitor had quoted to me. The work was done promptly. The crew was friendly, polite, answered all my questions. The work site was returned to the condition that existed before the sewer line was replaced. Since your crew did such a great job, I dont think Ill have to call your company again, but I would certainly recommend your services to anyone looking for excellent sewer service. Thanks so much. Was a pleasure doing business with you.

Having recently discovered a leak in our kitchen sink drain line, we contacted Roto Rooter of Eugene for help. The work involved not only the actual piping repair, but the need to access through the siding adjacent to the front door, thus involving Roto Rooters restoration division as well as the plumbing division. Roto Rooter solved our problem quickly, expertly and politely. Randy and Steve were great to work with. Now the drain works, the siding is back in place and painted and no one would ever know that anything happened. Weve used Roto Rooter before and we will not hesitate to use them again.

My job is as a General Contractor and was very impressed with the service I recieved from Roto Rooter. I got an honest assesment of the situation that I would have had to pay a plumber additional money to get the same report. Their employee called back instantly on a saturday when no other firm in Eugene did. They were onsite within an hour and solved my problem. Prices on the weekend were the sama as others weekday price. All in all a great experiance on a not so fun subject. I truely appreciated the time the tech too to walk me through the drainfield issues.
