Nice people, but, if you have a conventional well system, they will ONLY offer an up-sale solution of variable speed motor and re-plumbing of your pump house. I had a Gould 0.5 HP submersible pump with 10 gpm in a 30 foot well that lasted over 10 years with VERY sandy water and iron issues. Often that pump had to churn mud out of the well. They could only offer me the option of a variable speed pump and full system revamp. This option was $5,500.00 not including extras. A replacement in kind on Amazon for the pump was $269 including the control box. I didnt go with the quote, but was charged for two hours of labor and a control box cover which was still covered under warranty with another well company. The two technicians worked with office personnel for most of the 2 hours attempting to sell me on the full system upgrade. To their credit, they refunded me their bill of $341.00 which they sent for service call and an additional hour of labor, plus the control box. Beware if you arent prepared to buy a full new system with a pump problem.

I had a really nice encounter with one of the guys at Stutzman. I was at a metered parking lot near OSU and the meter took my last coin. One of the Stutzman guys walked clear across the parking lot and gave me 50 cents for my meter without my asking....I offered him a dollar or asked how to repay him and he refused. I would hire nice people like this in a second....it really tells alot about the company!
