It took me two years, innumerable trips to a local Honda dealership service department, and one trip to a private mechanic shop, before I thought about seeing if McMinnville had a Honda dealership and service department. (They were a bit farther to go for me and also out of my way.) My 2008 Honda CRV, purchased new in Hillsboro OR, ran great for the first few years. Then at about 37,000 miles, it began to die while just driving along, a complete failure of all power, including power steering. Very, very frightening for a woman alone. Often it would die on the dark, two lane windy road I have to take to get home, right when Id lose cell service, of course! The only time it died repeatedly was while backing into my driveway. The other Honda dealership told me, after charging me $100 to replace the computer brain, though it was under warranty, "Weve tried everything and have done all we can Carol." I drove it for another year and the stalls became more frequent and dangerous, when in desperation I called McMinnville Honda. Not only did they make several attempts to discover the problem, they gave me a loaner car (a brand new Honda CRV), charged me nothing and persevered through the Honda America Techs until they figured out the problem! I had a bare wire under the “Dead Pedal” that was shorting out every time I put my foot there, most often when I was turning around to back up. I forgot to mention, when my car died, warning lights lit up on my dash. The VSA light was on most of the time. I never knew if something was actually wrong. It’s been several months since I’ve had it back from McMinnville Honda, NO stalls, NO dash lights coming on and I have full power, (as it was gutless during my nightmare years ) and it’s running like a brand new car at 67,000 miles! Finally, I love my car!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart McMinnville Honda Service Department, I’ll be forever grateful! Carol L. Lee

After checking at several Portland area dealers I noticed an ad for a 2014 Honda CRV EX from McMinnville Honda. I called the number and talked with TJ Rozell and I was quoted a price. I then checked back with several dealers who stated the McMinnville Honda would not honor the price, some stated they would match the price. We decided to drive out to McMinnville Honda and it was more then worth the trip. These people are so low keyed and nice to deal with, we will never shop again at another dealer for a Honda. TJ and Brandon were just the nicest people and did not try to over sell and TJ helped my wife set up her Blue tooth and explained everything about the cars options. These people are a 5 star all day long and my wife just loves the car. This is the first review I have done ever and I have purchased over 20 cars, that is how good they are. Above and beyond expectations We were traveling through McMinnville after 5:00 on a Tuesday afternoon in a rain storm and we were badly in need of wiper blades for our Honda Odyssey. Instead of going to an auto parts store or department store we searched for a Honda Dealership and found McMinnville Honda. Boy was that the right choice. The young man in the parts dept (unfortunately I did not get his name) found the right blades and installed them, in the rain, without any hesitation. Our 2 blades were different brands and he found exactly what we needed. I am in the retail business and I am constantly saddened by the average level of customer I see. This young man was exceptional and from his quick action and lack of hesitation he exhibited, at the end of the day, I would expect the same kind of service from the rest of the employees at McMinnville Honda. It felt like a culture of excellent service....Well Done!!!

I searched Honda dealers farther from home than expected when the vehicle I wanted to purchase was unavailable in my area. McMinnville Honda had the car I wanted and it was priced $600 below the price I had expected to pay. A $500 deposit was all I needed to hold the car until I was able to drive 1.5 hours that afternoon to McMinnville. The car was ready to go when I arrived. Within 2 hours I drove away in my new Honda Civic Hatchback. I also saved about $1300 in expected costs due to lower dealer fees and clearer information about accessories that turned out to be unnecessary. John Klein was relaxed, informative and helpful. It helped that I knew exactly the car I wanted because this was a 1.5 hour drive from my house. But Im so glad I found this dealer. If youre looking for a Honda, or even searching for a used car, google McMinnville Honda to see what they have available.

They had the best price in a 100 mile radius from Portland (trust me, I checked) advertised right on their website. Gary Larson was our salesperson and he was very helpful and genuinely friendly. I would recommend him 100 times over. There was never any pressure to get anything more or other than what I wanted. Everything was 100% above board and transparent and there were no games, no gimmicks, no tricks, no hidden add-ons or fees, no upselling, or anything else some other dealers and salespeople still try to foist on you these days. I would go back and do it over in a heartbeat for their laid back attitude, low prices, and straightforward deals. They make the car buying experience almost too easy! It is totally worth your time to take the drive from Portland. I dont believe any other Honda dealer (or maybe any dealer at all) in the area comes close to their level of service.

Third purchase in past 10-years. Dropped in and met Internet Manager, Gary Larson. Told him I wanted to drive a 2015 FIT and 2015 Civic. Gary showed me both. Took a nice test drive and completed paperwork for a Lease. Told Gary I was going home to think about my decision. Sent message next day advising decided on FIT and asked for delivery time. Gary quickly responded that car would be ready. I needed a ride from car rental agency and Gary offered to come get me. When we arrived, noticed new car cleaned to perfection and ready for delivery. My approval was complete and paperwork was ready to sign. Met with Finance Manager, Brandon Lewis to complete documents. He showed me all options without pressure. This dealer has figured out how most people prefer to buy cars. Dont waste your time getting jacked around, just buy your next new Honda and used cars at McMinnville Honda.

One of the very few dealers that cares about customer service. Gary is a great rep and listens to the customer. After checking with all the dealers in the Portland Metro Area, and most completely ignoring my "Do not call me, email me" request or trying to sell me a car I didnt want, McMinnville Honda listened to my request and followed. They had the vehicle I wanted and responded fast. It was painless to lease a car and they gave me a rate better than any in the Portland/Vancouver Area. They dont hide anything. Do not bother with any of the dealers in the Portland Metro area. Even if they have the vehicle you want, they will try to get you into a completely different car or charge you a ridiculous price with a bunch of fees. The drive to McMinnville is worth the better price and better service. The $25 gift card will also cover gas there and back easily.
