NOS TUVO EN LA TIENDA DESDE LAS 8 DE LA MANANA HASTA LAS 5 Y MEDIA DE LA TARDE. EN UN DIA LLUVIOSO COMO HOY NOS DIJO QUE EL CARRO IVA A ESTAR LISTO DE 2 PM A 3 PM. SE LLEGO LA HORA Y EL HOMBRE NO LE ESPLICO A MI ESPOSO QUE NO HABIAN ENCONTRADO LA PARTE PARA ARREGLAR EL CARRO NOS TUVO LITERALMENTE VIENDONOS LA CARA DE PENDEJOS. ESPERANDO. TODO ESE TIEMPO SIN DECIRNOS NADA. PARA AL FINAL DEL DIA DESPACHARNOS BAJO LA LLUVIA Y EL VIENTO. CANSADOS . NO ENTIENDO PORQUE FREGADOS NO NOS DIJO QUE EL CARRO SE TENIA QUE QUEDAR EN EL SHOP HASTA EL DIA SIGUIENTE. ES UN DESGRACIADO ESE VIEJO. ESPERO NO VERLO DE NUEVO.. FIRESTONE DEVERIA DE TENER GENTE MAS CORDIAL Y AMABLE QUE LE AYUDE A UNO PORQUE LATINOS O NO. PAGAMOS EN DOLARES Y NO SON 2 CENTAVOS LO QUE NOS VAN A COBRAR. CADA VEZ QUE NOSOTROS HEMOS LLEVADO EL CARRO A LA TIENDA DE TIGARD. NOS COBRAN MAS DE 500 DOLARES CADA VEZ QUE VAMOS. YA LE DIJE A MI MARIDO QUE SON BABOSADAS QUE YA NO VAMOS A VOLVER A ESA TIENDA. I purchased a lifetime alignment from this Firestone location, so Ive been able to visit them several times in the last year and observe how they interact with me as well as other customers. They upsell you. All the time. They actually tried to convince me to replace my brand new tires with Firestone ones, just because they had a sale coming up. The script read "We have a very exclusive sale coming up on tires next month, and we usually fill up our appointment dates quite quickly. When can I put you down for?" After telling him I have less than 100 miles on my brand new Kumho tires, he told me that I could buy his Firestone tires instead and sell my Kumho tires used on Craigs List. If that doesnt sum up the self-interested attitude of this shop, I dont know what does. They just want sales. They dont care about whats right for the customer. And about alignment. Im going to look for another Firestone shop to honor my lifetime alignment agreement. Sometimes they can get it in spec, sometimes they cant. When I ask about the specs, I get dismissive, uninformed answers. I can actually see the guys deciding in their heads "hmm, Im going to speak as little as possible. The less I speak, the less chance this customer will figure out I dont know what Im talking about." Customer Service is not just about pasting on a smile and striking up a conversation (which these guys have clearly been told to do). You need integrity. Without it, youre left with a smile as theyre reaching for your wallet. All these guys leave you with is a superficial, uneasy feeling that youve been taken advantage of, and you cant quite place your finger on it. Update: its now about 6 years later and looks like the shop has changed managers a few times. I have come back a few times over the years out of convenience and things have improved. The current front desker Greg is very courteous and helpful. They have also upgraded their alignment rack and today my experience with alignment has been very good. The alignment tech worked with me to explain the adjustments and had good information on what would be best for my tire wear.

This was the worst Firestone! Worst experience ever, so I got on because I am still stewing after 8 hours; so I was not at all surprised and also feeling vindicated to read all the horrible reviews of this place. The short advice--do not go here. Go to Les Schwab, or Costco, or anywhere else. And if you, like I was, are shackled by Firestones lifetime alignment deal, drive to a different Firestone. I had 3 perfectly good tires on my van with only 30K miles on them and got a flat on the 4th. Firestone guy tried to convince me that my other tires were not safe to drive on and I needed 4 new tires (my tires were fine). I asked him if he could just determine why my tire was losing air, do a rotation, and let me go. He said that if he looked at my tire, he wouldnt even put it back on the car because it wasnt new enough and too much tread was gone, so he had a policy that he couldnt do anything unless I replaced the tires (all 4--not just that one). He totally tried to upsell me and swindle me into getting 4 tires, which I a) simply didnt need -- remember, we are at 30K on the set I drove in with) and b) couldnt afford. I drove away with a tire losing air, stopped at 3 gas stations along the way to Les Schwab, where in 25 minutes, the nail in my tire was removed, tire was repaired, and I was on my way--with a strong assurance that my tires didnt need to be replaced and that they were perfectly safe to drive. I honestly think Firestone guy realized I was just a time consuming customer because I wasnt going to purchase anything, so he tried to scare me into buying 4 tires and was happy to let me drive away with a flat rather than spend any time keeping me as a future tire-buying customer. I will never ever go to Firestone again. I know Les Schwab is a little more expensive, but it is totally worth it if you have that flexibility. Otherwise, go to a different Firestone for sure!

WHAT A JOKE! If you are having problems with your vehicle and you are thinking about taking it to Firestone STOP! Please stop. Do not take it to these people. They are a bunch a frauds. Took my van into these people trying to get it ready for service as we use it for transporting passengers and what I got instead was lie, after lie, after lie. Took the vehicle in on Sunday to get an exhust leak fixed and instead I got a washer fluid pump, two shocks, and a tune up they said they did but when I asked to see the parts, OPPS we through them away already and the van still runs exactly like it did when I took it to them rough and missing with the exhust leak they said they fixed with charging me $1056.99 for the work they claimed they did do. And they tried to charge me $1150.00 additional for supposedly changing the catalatic converter and a new end pipe which does not look like they did! It is pretty sad that a company that has been around as long as they have has turned into a bunch of crooks. If I ran my company this way I would have been bankrupt along time ago and out of business. So take my advise for what its worth, take the time and really research an automotive care/repair shop before you have anyone work on your vehicle. Dont just take one word for it, shop, price, and get different opinions because in the end it could cost you!

Firestone rotated my tires & replaced my brakes & Ive had issues with vibration ever after. I took the car back to check the issue but they couldnt find anything wrong. On both trips they were to check the suspension (the struts). Both trips they told me that the struts were okay. FIRESTONE CHARGES EXPENSIVE FEES FOR EVERY INSPECTION. Other mechanics told me that the struts were bad; that this should have been an easy diagnosis for any decent mechanic. On my third & final trip, I specifically asked them to re-inspect the struts, why they didnt detect the problem before & how they intended to respond... Their rebuttal - that brakes do not affect the struts. I didnt want to argue cause and affect with them because it would have come down to my word against theirs & w/ $ @ stake I doubted their capacity be honest. Perhaps my logic is filtered by frustration but I feel they should act a little responsible. They ultimately quoted me $1050 for new struts which run $790 on average elsewhere. Theyre crooks - I will not do business with them after this.
