We are new to Newberg and just happened to be having some car trouble. We headed to AutoZone because it appeared to be open on New years day. We were welcomed by both guys that were working that day, I know one of them was Andrew but I didnt catch the other guys name, they were both professional, helpful and didnt make me feel stupid about my questions. Im writing this review because Andrew went out of his way and provided the kind of customer service any business owner would want to see. We made two trips to the store that day and he remembered my babies name the second time in and was incredibly friendly and easy going. We needed a jump and the only other car in the parking lot belonged to a man who didnt speak very good English so he offered to jump us once he was off. He could see that my kids were getting antsy and offered to let us use the battery charger they had at the store. It didnt work so as soon as he got off (on his own free time) he pulled around front and came over to jump our car. He was so helpful and just easy to do business with. I will be a lifetime customer of this particular AutoZone because of Andrew.

Went in to the Newberg AutoZone to return a part and get my money back, for a problem I have had to address multiple times previously. I had called the store prior to going in to make sure I could return the part there, as it was purchased at the McMinnville location; my phone number was taken and I was given the O.K to bring it in. Kurt, the Part Sales Manager, at the Newberg AutoZone was incredibly rude. He rolled his eyes, came back with snide, sarcastic comments, and argued with me about how the issue wasnt fixed. Told me I had to go to the McMinnville store to return the part because they have the purchase history there. Called McMinnville AutoZone tonight, explained what happened, Terry W, the store manager, was super helpful and informative. Gave me my money back and a phone number to provide feedback for corporate. DO NOT GO TO THE NEWBERG AUTOZONE!!!! YOU WILL HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE.

I will never shop at this location again. How do you sell auto parts when the sales associates dont know anything about auto parts? Go in and ask for a parts cleaning brush, or a valve spring compressor.... I wish there was a zero star....

The customer service was non-existent. Walked in the door to ask a question and was abruptly cut off and was made to feel unworthy of their time. I will never go to them for anything, and advise others not to as well!! Terrible.
