After reading all the reviews, I called ABC Electric and spoke to Randy. I was looking for someone qualified to do two things: inspect the old knob and tube wiring in my home and give me an estimate to replace the Zinsco electrical panel we had. Randy gave me a lot of good educational information over the phone and was able to go out within a few days to inspect. Turns out the knob and tube was abandoned so that was good news. The panel was going to require a permit by the county. They emailed me a proposal and lien information, I sent them the paperwork back and the deposit, Randy was out and completed the work in 8 hours and had it inspected and signed off the next day. Ive called with a few more questions but every time ABC Electric has gotten back to me promptly and dealt with me fairly. I didnt shop their price or service so I cant speak to what other companies may have said. All the way around Ive had a good experience with this company and would definitely recommend them in future. P.S. I mentioned to Randy that his name was out there in a less than favorable way on a review. He said he knew. He didnt try to explain it away and I respect that. Not every job is going to go perfectly.

ABC Electric has been doing electrical work in my building since early August. While the electrical repair work has been fine, to my knowledge, their customer service is something else. They showed up over a day late to do scheduled work, and they let my cat out of my unit, who is sick, and on medication, didnt try to catch him, didnt notify the property manager, or ANYONE, and left a passive-agressive note on my door about "no luck catching your cat." I called the number on the note and the man I spoke to, "Randy" was again, very passive aggressive, acting like it was my fault, telling me, "that he took garbage out and didnt shut the door and he just ran out," and telling me I should have locked my cat in my small, hot bathroom for 8+ hours while I was at work. They have been in the unit before, I have left notes before regarding the cat, and I have mentioned to other workers that there is a cat in my unit, multiple times. Apparently they just dont care. My cat is still missing too. I cant even believe this.

I was happy with ABC electrics work overall. I called because my husband went to turn on our ceiling fan/ light and the ceiling fan came down with it, hanging only by wires. The electrician who came out to do the estimate was kind enough to safely get it down and out of the house. It was a week or so before I had a replacement fan, and I also had them put in a new heat/ light/ vent in the bathroom. The electrician who came to do the work seemed efficient and overall did a good job. My only complaint is that he had to cut a larger hole for the heat/ light/ vent in the bathroom and it sent sawdust -everywhere-. If I had known, I would have tarped the wicker storage furniture in the bathroom- Im still finding dust in drawers. Live and learn though- I will definitely use them again.

I had ABC upgrade my service, move my meter, and install a new panel. They also wired my kitchen with three new circuits, and one new circuit to my bathroom. Everything works correctly, looks fine, and the price was fair. The inspector that came said that it was some pretty good work. They were relatively quick, they took one full day and part of the next morning, without any overnight disruption of service. The two guys that did the work were friendly and didnt leave any mess behind. Overall, I was pretty happy with the service. If I need work done again, this will be the company I use.

We had ABC rewire our entire upstairs unit to a duplex and have had them do some work at our offices as well. The price is always very competitive and they look for the most efficient way to get your work done and bring attentions to job factors that I may have overlooked, etc. During our remodel they were a model vendor. Used them for 3 different projects, theyve been great every time. A+.

Two guys came out and poked around for 2 hours before I "helped" them by pushing a GFCI switch. They charged me for the two hours ($200). When I wouldnt pay they sent me to collections.

Ive been using these folks for years (maybe 10 or so!), always a great job, on time and courteous - job done by permits and to code, would recommend to anyone.

They have been taking care of our building for years and have done well. Even helps me when I want to do something myself without having to pay them.
