DO NOT USE and WASTE YOUR TIME with this company!! We had Handyman Pro come out to our home two weeks ago now (on a Tuesday) to provide a time sensitive estimate for restoration work on our main bathroom and laundry room ceiling repair so to submit to our insurance in hopes to get this work scheduled ASAP and hopefully completed before the Thanksgiving holiday. We were told we would receive an estimate by the end of that week..............to date, we have yet to receive an estimate. Failed return calls have now turned into excuses that their system went down and they are behind and will get the bid to us by early the following week. To now, "we have to track down the person who came to your home and see where they are at with putting this bid together. We will have it to you by the end of the week." This tuned into them promising to have it to us over the weekend. Only to call again today, Monday, to find out that they still have not put the bid together and will get to the bottom of what is going on. They reassured us that they still want the job.........................yeah, right! Anyone serious about wanting a job displays timeliness, follow through and professionalism. This company cant even follow through on providing a bid. Needless to say, that is a HUGE sign that perhaps they would FAIL to follow through on the actual job, so we are saving ourselves the potential hardship and further disappointment......were moving on! DONT bother wasting your time with these guys!!

VERY bad experience with Rick. We hired him through a services agency (Velexo) to assemble a glass greenhouse (from a kit, purchased through Costco) in our garden. This was a fixed-scope fixed-fee project, but he tried to "up-sell" me on services that I did not need several times, and threatened that if it took longer than his estimate he would have to charge me additional (which was outside of the contract). He made numerous mistakes and blamed everyone except himself for those errors. I documented the problems (in writing and photos) to the contracting agency, who were astonished and embarrassed with the result, and they eventually gave me a refund due to Ricks poor workmanship. Rick has a pleasant--even charming--demeanor upon first meeting him, but he does not take constructive feedback from others; the more he is in over his head, the more cocky he acts, which only leads to more errors and frustration for all. Rick may be good at a few specific things (e.g. fixing a pipe or electrical fuse), but I would not recommend him for anything that has complexity, requires multiple steps, or will be seen by people.

WORST experience ever! DONT hire this company, they will waste your time!!! I made an appointment a week in advance with this Company to come and build 2 beds for me (a large job as one of the beds is a huge bunk bed with shelves and desk) the company was nice, made appointment quoted me price... I even got a curtosy reminder the day before letting me know my time slot! Come to it... Day of appointment no one answers the phone, no one shows up at my house! I completely get stood up! I needed these beds together ASAP for my kids! Now I have to schedule out with another company... Which I should have done in the first place! Never hire Handy Man Pros! They are unreliable and unprofessional! You will waste your time!!!

We had a water pipe burst and water pouring through our house. We called multiple plumbers and none of them were available. 2 didnt even pick up the phone. When we talked to Rick it was after hours and all his guys were busy so he came out himself and fixed the issue right away. I would highly recommend The Handyman Pro to anyone in Portland or Beaverton that needs a professional company for any plumbing or handyman issues.

Rick was very professional and helped me along with planning our home theater speaker installation. He provided me options and recommendations along with quick responses to any question that I had. He arrived on time and finished the job quickly and had everything cleaned up before he left. I would highly recommend Rick for any job!

He gave recommendations on other items around I house I should keep an eye on. Very good experience and I would use the Handyman Pro for any other handyman projects around my house.
