BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! OVER CHARGE AND DECEIVING! Tried to charge me 200.00 for job that took the tech 2 minutes and 9 seconds to do(timed it)!!! Called their dispatch request the price to unlock my car door because I accidentally locked my keys in the car, the gentleman on the phone stated its only a $ 15 service charge and a standard lockout starts at 35. Its an older Camry, if I had a proper hanger I could have popped it myself. I asked so what do you think it will cost again, am I looking at 50/60 dollars, he says, yah sounds about right. When the tech gets to my locations writes up the ticket prior to completing the service, the tickets states: Service call $15, Mileage/Labor $35, LOCK_OUT $149.00!!! I told the poor tech he was out of his mind. I called the dispatch back, he said he wasnt the dispatcher that took the call, it surely sounded like the same guy, anyhow he was unhelpful, states it sounds like you were quoted right! The tech took 50.00 off stating he was sorry. He said that was the best he could do for me because he doesnt set the pricing.THIS IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS AT ALL!!! You dont deceive your customers! 200.00 to pop a lock that took 2 minutes to unlock, I took a video just to time the process! Nice enough tech, horrible business practice!!!!!!!!! I WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD, I AM SO VERY UPSET! SO PLAN TO SPEND AT LEAST 200+ IF YOU USE THIS COMPANY! There are descent locksmith companies out there so call around, my son locked his keys in his car about a year ago, it cost $55 to get them out, a lot more reasonable!!!! I should have read there real reviews before using this company!

Beware of this company. We just got back from Asia on a long trip and my sons age 9 & 6 had not slept for more than 24 hours. The guy that came to our house was driven by his girlfriend on a beat up sedan. From the beginning he did not inspire confidence from the way he behaves and communicates. The only tool he brought with him are a flat head screwdriver and a lock pick. At first he told us that he had to destroy the lock because according to him due to a mushroom pins on the locks. I told him that we had the key picked before and he changed his tune quickly and said "oh yeah, I think I can open these". He jiggled the locks for more than 50 minutes until I finally told him to forget about it because it is taking too long. Thats when his true color appeared. He demanded $15 for his trouble. I told him that I only have $11 cash right now either he takes it or wait till the next locksmith come and opened it. This guy was creepy and kept hanging around and acting suspicious and that made me worried about our safety especially the safety of our boys. I decided to call the police to help mediate the issue. As soon as he found out I called the police he got in to his girlfriends car and sped up. I took pictures of the guy and his girlfriends car just in case I need to show the police or in case he came back again to cause trouble. Our neighbor was also taking notes when these happened and will be posting the picture of this guy and the cars information on our neighborhood newsletter. This company is definitely not worth the trouble. Look for a reputable locksmith. Theres too much scammers pretending to be locksmith.

I WOULD GIVE THIS COMPANY ZERO STARS IF I COULD! I WILL NEVER CALL THEM AGAIN AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM UNLESS THE OWNER CONTACTS ME TO MAKE THIS RIGHT! My girlfriend called them when she had her keys knocked out of her pocket in her car. She called them and they told her that it was $15 to come out and $35 to get back into the car. The gentleman who came out was amazing, and he was super polite and nice. It was after he told her the price that she started to freak out and the guy told me to call the office to sort out the mix up. So I called the toll free 1-888 number and the supervisor was very rude with me and hung up on me. So I called the Tigard office and asked the guy what could be done. He said he listened to the audio from the call and told me what his dispatcher said. I asked to hear the audio file and he said it was not possible. Then I told him to put his "headset" up to his speaker and I "conveniently" heard my girlfriend talking but I could not hear the dispatcher. I told him it was a bunch of crap and he asked me not to "curse" at him. I didnt use any foul language with him so I asked when the word crap was a curse word and he could not answer me. I just find it kind of odd that I could not hear the dispatcher, but I could hear my girlfriend very clearly. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE A RIPOFF AND THEY LIE ABOUT PRICES. The gentleman that helped us was into the car in less than 2 minutes. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

I called and the woman on the phone told me 50$ for a car lockout. Guy shows up at my parking lot on time and seems nice enough. Comes over to my car and we start talking. I asked him how much itd be to get a dummy key non chipped just to unlock my doors in the future. Quoted me 80$. That was confusing to me. In no way have I ever heard a plain key costing so much. Well then he whips out his notepad to start writing up the invoice. On there is the 50$ flat fee along with a 99$ lockout fee. Told him no and he just bolted. Called up another local locksmith - marks locksmith. Got the job done at the quoted 40$ without any issues. Avoid advantage; nothing but scammers based on my experience. Edit 12/5/2016: Im not advertising for anybody. This was my experience and youre a bunch of shady crooks. I have receipts for services complete with the other company and phone logs from speaking with you first. Maybe the 2 fake positive reviews that suddenly popped up from Shae and David (both only have 1 review and were just made lol) are just a coincidence? I think its time to file with the BBB before you try and scam anybody else. FOR THOSE INTERESTED, THE COMPANYS LOCKSMITH LICENSE CCB#193041 IS ACTUALLY TIED TO "ADVANTAGE LOCK & KEY LLC". LOOK THAT UP AND YOULL SEE MORE EVIDENCE OF THE SCAMMING.

Called and asked for a quote to fix the mailbox lock, was told a replacement would be around $25-45. The guy comes, breaks the lock by literally hammering the key into it, and then says I have to pay $150 to replace it. At this point its stuck open with the key stuck in it, and he threatens to leave. I finally agree to just have him fix it but hes super rude and condescending and generally a terrible business person. He pretty much held my mailbox for ransom after breaking the lock completely. DONT do business with them. I have no idea how they have good reviews, but I wish Id paid more attention to the bad ones :( And to top it off, dude has the audacity to tell me, "Trust me, this is a good experience for you, youre lucky you have me Im so experienced Im the best anybody else would rip you off." Great, so not only do I feel taken advantage of, now he tells me I ought to enjoy it and be grateful for him personally. Gross gross gross.
