As a car dealer, sometimes you run into mishaps where keys dont work with your vehicle or missing key. Prior to contacting Locksmith Plus, I had contacted the Cadillac Dealership regarding a new key and program for my 2013 CTS Coupe. They gave me a quote in the $250 ballpark, including key fob done in approx 2-3 days. However, I had to tow my car there and was in an emergency as previously mention, I run a business. I need the CTS to get to the shop ASAP to get fixed so that I can sell. After speaking to a few vendors, Locksmith Plus agreed to do $264 to service my car and they would come out to my location. DEAL. I paid this on the 1st of August. The next day after the initial 50% deposit, I received a call that the key fob they initially thought was the one for my vehicle was not the right one even though i had provided Year/Make/Model and VIN of the car. The new key fob would be $100 more. I paid it, as stated, this was an emergency. I had no time to go back and forth. After the weekend went by and Alex, the tech, said the key would be there the following Monday maybe Tuesday. I gave them a call Monday asking on the whereabouts of the key, it had not arrived. I also asked her to contact me and keep me updated and she said she would. Next day, I called back, still the same answer, "We dont know where the key is but expect it to arrive Wednesday or Thursday." Again, no one reached out to me and I had to call back numerous times to see where my key was. Wednesday, I called, same answer. Thursday I called, same answer. Friday morning I get a call, they said the key was still not there and it was the Vendor they ordered from fault. "Their website was down and no technician from that company returned our calls." VERY PROFESSIONAL to blame it on the vendor and now helping their client find a proper solution. I wanted to cancel the service at this point and get a refund if there was no solution. I asked for a call back in the day in hopes that the key would be there and what do you know, 1 hr later I get a call that the key was there and that Alex the tech would be out to service my car. She arrives to location and about 1hr later, saids it will cost another $65 for her to cut the key. At that rate, I am $429 into the key fob 1 week later and in addition to that, Alex said "I spent 2 hours there already, it will need to wait until Monday for me to service it again, the car is going no where, please understand this is a hard job." Point blank, if this was a hard job and you cant do it, dont accept the job. I wanted a refund, and said the key is for her to come pick up as I was not going to do business with them at this point. She blocked my number, said its no returnable. The supervisor, Eco, was also very unprofessional and provided negative customer service support in additional to raising her voice and being very rude on the phone, refusing to help me find a better solution Both tech and employees were unprofessional, unreasonable, stubborn, impolite, and deserve reevaluation of their positions in the company. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless their car is "easier to work on." This was a very unprofessional work and I am no satisfied as now it will set me back a few more days while a dealership agreed to work on my vehicle. My phone number is now blocked by the tech and support team, cant even get ahold to get a refund.

Anyone notice that all of the 5-star reviews are completely vague? Clearly, the majority of them arent verifiable and most likely fake. I recently locked my keys in m car in Bend, OR. I immediately typed "Bend Locksmiths" into my phone and gave the first number a call. A gentleman from Locksmith Plus quoted me at $25 service fee and a starting unlocking rate $35. Understanding that that is the base rate is $60, I asked the teller if that was the common price and how substantially that rate could increase. He claimed that the technician would be able to determine that once on site(sketchy). After drilling him with several questions about billing protocol, he assured me that it would be anywhere from $60-80. The technician arrived much quicker than expected, despite getting lost once and arriving in an unmarked car, I was still at ease. He was pleasant enough but then told me that he could not perform any service unless I paid up front...$144!!(more sketchy) Although shocked at the price, I kept my composure and paid it, since I was in a hurry(huge mistake). He was there and gone in a whopping 3 minutes. Later a called a legitimate local Bend/Redmond locksmith, and he confirmed to me that I had been completely ripped off. He claimed that given that it was a Sunday afternoon, his rate would be marginally higher since it was a weekend for a prepaid fee of $75 total(no exceptions...much better than $144) Unfortunately, I didnt contact him first. After I returned to the Portland area, I called the company back requesting an itemized invoice for the auto lock-out fee of $119. They said that they would email it to me by the end of the day. When that didnt happen, I called back and another dispatcher answered and said that invoices can take up to a week to receive(even more sketchy). Finally, after waiting for a week, I called again. This time, another dispatcher answered and once again gave me completely different information. She claimed, that they dont send out invoices or technician contact information. On another note, she was very harsh and insisted that I was in the wrong because ultimately I agreed to the price(she had a point). She also unintentionally revealed that each technician can arbitrarily determine their own price for the service.(MOST SKETCHY!!!) For all readers, save yourself time/money by doing some additional research. There really are companies out there that truly have no integrity.

Terrible time wasters. Seems like their work is all done by independent contractors with no quality standards. Called to have the locks changed on a new home. I wanted a specific kind of system installed and was told that they carried the brand I wanted and could do the work I outlined. If you visit their website you see a picture of a very professional looking locksmiths van with the company logo on the side. However, the guy who showed up at my house was just driving his beat up old compact. The "locksmith," Neil, seemed to have only very basic knowledge about locks, not what I would expect from a professional locksmith. Turns out, they do not carry the specific brand I had been told they did, and I wasted a morning waiting for them to show up, only to find out they werent equipped to do the job I needed done. When I asked for a refund of the service charge they collected for the visit because I had been misled when I called, I was accused of lying, and told that no refund would be issued. Now I am going to have to open a dispute with my credit card company. Very bad business.

Hacks! Called out for a lock out, drilled the lock out charged $177 dollars and left the unit un securable. Tried to resolve the issue by reaching out for Locksmith Plus Management and I quickly found myself being verbally abused by the receptionist. The receptionist did advise Locksmith Plus is a 3rd part Locksmith Company which in my opinion reeks of shaddyness!!! This was not the way a licensed and bonded locksmith opens locks....no replacement lock was installed, the door was left in a way that it can be opened without a key from the outside, pretty ridiculous. I personally know of roughly 5 laws (all felonys) committed for this very request. Illegal entry is one, possession of burglary tools is another, use of burg tools. The woman who I spoke with refused to let me speak with management or otherwise. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY CLEARLY DO NOT HAVE IT TOGETHER, AND YOU WILL BE LEFT NOT ONLY WITH AN OUTRAGEOUS BILL WITH THEM BUT YOU MAY BE CONTRIBUTING TO THERE NEGLAGENCE AND ILLEGAL ACTIVITY.
