All Service Moving came out to the house to do a walk through and free estimate. Their estimate came in the lowest for 4 guys and 2 24 foot trucks so we hired them. They said they had experience moving a jacuzzi and it was included in the quote. The truck without the foreman arrived earlier than we expected. We knew they were leaving their warehouse in Portland at 9 AM and we expected them in Vancouver, WA at 9:30. The guys were personable, fast and strong. They covered all our furniture in blankets and then shrink wrapped the blankets. We were told that drawer with contents would be safe in anything made of solid wood but contents could shift in anything made with particle board. When we showed them the jacuzzi which was still connected to an electrical box we asked if they knew how to disconnect the electrical cord from either the box or the jacuzzi. The foreman said he didnt but he would like figure it out. For a company that said they had moved jacuzzis before we expected they would know how to disconnect the electrical. We called a neighbor to do it. The email quote was for 6-8 hours, the written estimate I had to sign on moving day was for 12 hours and the move took 9.75 hours. The cost ended up being $600 more than the email quote. The guys were very polite and helpful when I asked them to move a piece of furniture to a different place than first placed but I didnt have time to check all their placements. The master bed was placed in front of an electrical outlet so we cant plug anything in on the night stand on one side of the bed. The took a part a desk that was in the house downstairs that had to be moved upstairs, knowing it had to be done and did a great job with it but when they moved it upstairs and assembled it, they again placed it right in front and too close to the electrical outlet. Some items were placed in illogical places causing us to have to move them again to unpack such as one TV was placed on the floor in front of cabinet doors to a computer stand. Boxes were placed right in front of book shelves and had to be moved by us. Our last movers placed boxes in the middle of the room so we could walk around them. 3 boxes marked for the kitchen were placed upstairs and had to be carried down by us. My husbands desk drawer in the back broke in half and it was solid wood but a very old desk. It is beyond repair and we didnt notice it until the movers left. When they moved my desk the contents spilled out on the floor and they just left it. When the small wood file cabinet was moved upstairs a piece fell off which I found on top of my desk. A brand new set of wood TV trays that I paid $100 broke and they did take $100 off the bill for that. My biggest complaint is the quote was to move ALL our belongings with 2 trucks and 4 guys but we made 2 trips a day to our new house to deliver good ahead of time and had to make 6 trips after the movers moved "everything". The 2nd truck was not filled to the top, they just didnt organize it well.

If youre reading this review, youre probably considering to hire All Service Moving (ASM). Heres my recent (09/22/16 - 09/23/16) experience with ASM and why you shouldnt consider anyone else. ASM help us move across towN, from NE to SE. We decided on ASM because they provided packing and moving services. I was worried because we needed to move and wasnt sure how it would be handled, weve never had someone else do our packing. We decided to split the whole process into two days to make it easier on our family. Day 1: Nikola (lead), Jackson, and Isan showed up 5 minutes early on Thursday. They were very nice, professional and got packing right away after a quick house tour. They packed every room into nice stacked and labeled boxes, which was nice because they made it easy to see where that box belonged. Day 2: We were worried they would send other people that we had not built a rapport with. However, Nikola, Jackson, Isan, and RJ showed up 5 minutes early again on Friday along with two moving trucks. The guys really worked as a team, communicated very well with each other and made the whole process look very easy. When we arrived at the new house with the two trucks, they quickly got to work after a quick tour. The guys rolled out a runner to make sure that the floors didnt get ruined. They assembled our bed, and placed the furniture where we wanted. I have a large executive desk that I was sure I would have to get rid of because it might not fit through the door. The guys assured me to not give up hope until they had at least tried getting the desk inside. They calmly took the door off and got it into my new office without even a single scratch or complaint! They most definitely deserve a medal for helping me keep my solid oak desk! When it came time to hook up the dryer, the guys noticed that it was a gas hook up and that our electric dryer would not work. Thank goodness they noticed, and kindly asked us where what we wanted to do. Nikola, Jackson, Isan, and RJ made this move possible, their attention to detail and the level of care they took of our belongings quickly made us recognize them as a valuable asset to ASM. I would highly recommend them for their packing and moving services. Like they say, they might not be the cheapest but theyre the best! Im glad we decided to go with ASM for quality service, and stress free move!

This is the first time either my girlfriend or myself have hired movers, let alone for a long distance one (SF to Portland) and so we were understandably nervous. We did our research and found that All Service had the best rated reviews. They also quoted us thousands lower than local movers and with a dedicated team and truck we felt they were our best option. The front office was very responsive and patient as we called them multiple times for details on the services, and quotes. I think we called like six times with different questions but not once did we hear an annoyed voice on the other line. It was always professional and kind, and answered every question we had. There was some snafu with an inventory quote where they gave us a local rate instead of long distance, but they honored the original quote which is a significant sign of integrity from a company, which is sorely lacking from the moving industry. We had two pickup locations in SF and were able to change the order from which our movers picked up from with no problems a few days before. Now, on to the move itself. We were working with the two-man phenomenal team of JJ and Oliver. JJ was the team lead and was very communicative about time estimates and ETAs both prior to pickup and along the way. They carefully wrapped each furniture item and explained thoroughly the inventory process - which, while exhaustive, guarantees all your items are accounted for. Worth the extra time and money for the peace of mind. I have a new respect for movers, at least these guys. Theyre not just grunts / muscle; they have to also run the paperwork, drive the truck, and even suggested some furniture arrangements for us. And JJ appreciated my fancy west elm dresser so hes got good taste too. JJ and Oliver worked fast and even helped rearrange and reassemble furniture on the back end. They protected the walls and floors and doors of the origin and destination locations from scratches and damage, and were super nice dudes to boot. I kinda hope I run into them in town so I can buy them a beer. Synopsis: professional, clean, honest. Not a single complaint and highly recommended. Thanks JJ and Oliver!
