Hopefully they dont steal your packages...since Christmas I am missing about 7-8 envelopes. I called only to have them ask me for tracking numbers for envelopes sent regular mail. Obviously there are no tracking numbers... I ask if they can have one of their guys come check all the boxes in our apt. Complex because several residents have complained...they then again ask me for a tracking number and when I ask if all boxes and envelopes have tracking numbers...he says I am being rude then hangs up on me. I call back only to have him put me on speaker phone while Brian or david and another girl laugh at me on the phone...I asked for his boss and he said its the post master general in Washington DC. He then tells me he will call the cops if I call back. Im missing several things other residents are missing things and these two poor excuses for humans just laugh. Absolutely DISGUSTED.

Terrible customer service!!! The clerk (Gia) was not very courteous when she informed me that I cannot use the phone at the counter. I was just simply checking an email while she was finishing up the customs form on her terminal. I looked around the post office for a sign that asks customers to refrain from using the phone while at the counter but there was none. When I asked her if it is regulation or a courtesy rule she answered with "Something like that." She proceeded to tell me that USPS doesnt serve customers at the counter if they are on their phone. She finished in an irritated tone with "Sir, I dont want to argue with you." I can assure you that I wasnt arguing with her!!! I was simply asking for an explanation since there was NO SIGN that informed customers to abstain from using their phone while at the counter.

When I moved from this neighborhood, I requested to have my mail forwarded to my new address. After a month, I hadnt received my mail. When I talked to someone at this post office, he told me that since it is a relatively small route, they often train new employees on it, and so they probably just didnt see that my mail was supposed to be forwarded and kept delivering it to the wrong address. As a result, a month of my mail is gone, there is no way for me to get any of it, and I ended up losing my health insurance because I did not get a letter from them requesting information that was sent right before I moved that should have been forwarded. So frustrating.

The staff is great -but the supervisors cannot get it right -this morning I went to get mail out of my box after720 in the morning -NOT open- Regular business hours are 830 opening -but BOX access is supposed to be at 7 -they cannot get it right as it happens on a regular basis that the door is locked. There really is no reason why it cannot be open 24 hrs for box service-Years ago this was a higher crime area-but the service made their decision to limit hours then -and cannot even honor those hours -it matters because of our limitations re access "Customer service?"

The dream of the 1890s is alive in Portland...Portland...Portland. Service is terribly slow, the place looks like it might collapse while youre standing in line. They often times only have one person working, who is very friendly and knowledgeable, just in no hurry whatsoever. I always bring a book or my Instagram to entertain me...or people watching works too. Id drive past this Post Office and pick a different one.

"Forever" is about how long it will take to buy some stamps here. The postal clerks occasionally poke their heads out to see how long the line is. Unless its out the door a second clerk will not open up a window. Bring reading material. It takes about 20 minutes on average. Also theres not much parking. If the parkings all full, then the lines long. Its that simple. Dont bother.

4 days ago I placed 2 envelopes with stamps the return addresses on my mail box, 1925 NE 19th Ave., #2A, Portland, OR 97212. They were never mailed! Please explain to the obviously new or substitute that just because envelopes are placed on the holders with the addressees to the back, that they are to TAKE THE LETTERS and mail them. thanks for listening ..

Abysmal service. The older need to want to retire staff are often rude when it is busy (which seems to be all the time because they can only keep one person working at the desk) and are misinformed about their own services and give wrong information to customers.

Nice folks who work there. Got help sending via international shipping. Small, old building with no automated kiosk and only street parking. Tip: Mondays, Fridays, tax day, and the day after a holiday are when lines are longest at any post office.

Great location, just off Broadway on the way downtown. The parking is a little tight. Sometimes, due to long lines, its better to use the machines for stamps. Staff is usually friendly and efficient.

Slow. Long lines. Slow. Only one window open usually. I used to love going to post offices when I was a lot younger. This is like "lets see how badly we can piss you off so you quit coming here."

Everyone is really helpful here and friendly. I dont send out packages on the mail very often, but when I do someone is always willing to help me, but they are always warm and friendly about it!

Line was out the door and one employee was obviously new. They worked together to help and move the line and nicely and quickly as possible. I commend their patience!
