This is THE WORST POST OFFICE ON THE PLANET!!! First of all, Im on 176th St SW in Lynnwood and my postal carrier is so LAZY they do not deliver certified letters and parcels to the door to get signed. They also lie on the paperwork saying they tried to deliver when I was home the whole time and no one came to the door. This has happened every time and has been going on for months and months, actually a couple years now. I have even filled out a "rare" survey that was mailed to me asking how they were doing. So when I go to the post office to get whatever was not delivered, I have to wait in lines minimum of 20 minutes but are mostly 40 minutes. This morning at 9 am was one of the worst. There was a 3 deep like at the mail pick up counter where I waited for about 5 minutes and no one came to the counter, so I stood in the full service line with 2 people in front of me. I got to the full service counter which states it is also for mail pick up, and I was told I could not get my mail from her but I had to go wait in the other line. In that case, would it not state somewhere that there is only one mail pick up line? One time when I waited 40 minutes to pick up a package and the supervisor was the person at the counter. She couldnt believe they didnt put the smaller parcel it in the metal box on the street. She said she would talk to my carrier..and the last box was put in the mail box. But it didnt make a change permanently. I am SO FED UP with the POOR SERVICE of this post office, it wouldnt be as bad as it is if there werent such long wait times. I work like the rest of the planet and I cant stand in line that long on a break. I would love to replace all the staff for people who actually care about their jobs and the public. Hard to believe that in the old days they would get the mail though anything and get it delivered, and today they cant even take it to a door to get signed, which is what they say certified mail is for. US POSTAL SERVICE IN LYNNWOOD WA SUCKS!!! I wish there was a different regular mail service we could use and avoid the US mail altogether!

I typically do not think very highly of the USPS system and have not had good experiences with their services. However, this post office and been consistently providing good experiences and I felt they really earned a positive review in light of a lot of the negative comments they normally receive. My last three trips can be summarized as follows: 1) Waited in line for <30 seconds. They had 4-5 people staffing the counters. The gentleman that helped us gave us some tape to seal up our package, for free, despite the normal routine where they want you to buy your own roll. 2) My wait in line was less than a few minutes, and again they had 4-5 people staffing the counter. The line was long, but was moving quickly. The woman who helped me was knowledgeable in regard to my questions and helped me for the most part. Id give this experience with her 4/5 stars because she got a little confused and accidentally gave me one bad bit of information, but it was probably a misunderstanding on my end and I was not communicating my issues well. 3) I called to follow up with a package issue and the gentleman who answered was very friendly. He went out of my way to get my question answered and told me to call him back, and ask for him by name if there was anything else that I needed help with. I felt like he provided really good service.

Worst post office out there. This post office is deceitful and lazy. Multiple times they have refused to deliver parcels to my house. They will leave a note in the mail box stating that they attempted delivery, when this is not the case. I have been at home waiting on these occasions and no one came to the door. When going into the post office to pick up the mail, with only 1 person in front of me in line it took over 30 minutes just to get my mail! The red plum news adds have been another issue with this office. I have unsubscribed from this over a year ago and it was canceled up until recently when they started putting it back in my mail box. There is no address on the adds and so when I checked red plums site, it lists if you have already unsubscribed and it is past the 8 weeks and you still are receiving it then you need to contact your post office as they often mistakenly deliver it. I did so and was told that I just need to throw it away! That they cant do anything about it. I told them they were delivering to the wrong address as none are intended for mine. They told me they cant throw it away themselves. My response was that if I get anymore they are going in the outbox. They said fine and hung up. Remind me again why we pay any money to this garbage service.

I have had a horrible experience with lynnwood post office. I honestly wish I could rate them a 0 because a 1 star is still to much for them. I bought something from eBay and the mail men delivered it to the wrong address for some dumb reason even though my address was correct and everything. I went to the post office 5 times trying to see what happened to my package and every time I went they would have me with 20-40minutes standing up waiting for a supervisor to come. The women would not help at all and it was obvious to me everything she would say were lies. She would also tell me to go home and she would call me once she knew something about my package they had lost but she would never call me. She also told me to call the office but everytime I would, they would never pick up the phone. Thing is they admited they had lost my package but yet refused to refund me. I never received my package and never got my money back. THEY ARENT RESPONSIBLE! The women supervisor should be fired because she was also very rude. She honestly does not know how to treat a customer. Sad thing is Im not the only one who this has happened to and no action have been taken to change this.

Terrible, absolutely terrible. So USPS has come to a recent agreement with Amazon for "Sunday Delivery" program which is moot because none of the pkgs that was scheduled for delivery was EVER delivered on time. The carriers dont even bother to knock on your door, claim that it was "attempted" so you have to wait another day to have it redelivered. When you call, theyre just simply rude and unhelpful. Im left to wonder what these people actually do in that facility that keeps them so damn busy if theyre not even doing their job. They scan things as being delivered when it wasnt. And when you try to reschedule a delivery early in the morning for a pkg that needs to be "attempted" again the next business day, online site doesnt even give you the option of selecting that same day, even if its 7am (before the carriers leave the DU). When you try to file a complaint online via email, it says "oops, the form is temporarily out of service". How convenient!
