My experiences with Maids By Trade have been exemplary Theyve been cleaning my home for the best part of the last 8 years, and I can attest to the following: - First, for those of you who dont want to read too much, heres all you really need to know: MBT cleans my home at 8:30 every other Tuesday morning. Getting home Tuesday afternoon is my FAVORITE homecoming all week. My home is clean and neat and I can relax in it for a while. Until, of course, my three dogs, my daughter and I, and life in general muck it up again. Then I get to look forward to them coming back! - The office folk are upfront, responsive, efficient, fair, and friendly. They care about the quality of service they provide, and they care about the quality of service their cleaning teams provide. Special thanks to April, who listens well and gets things right. She, and the rest of the office staff, frequently and unobtrusively check in with me to make sure their service is consistently excellent. - The cleaning teams are efficient, effective, TRUSTWORTHY, honest, and friendly. My current team, Diego and Nickky, have been with me for over a year - they are always on time, they do a more thorough and thoughtful job on my home than I could do ever do even if I had all the time in the world. I like the way they treat my home, and I like the way they treat me. Call them. Let them come by for an assessment, and talk with them about what you need. Give them honest feedback - theyll listen. I just moved to Portland in February and had a couple of referrals for cleaning services that either didnt call me back or worse, had set an appointment and didnt show up...twice. I decided to take matters into my own hands and did it myself a couple of time until my neighbor referred Maids by Trade to me. As expected, I looked them up online and a decision was made; I chose them because of the great reviews, their professional website and their customer service. The estimator came by my house, gave me a quote (Only $27 more than what I had been paying but I agreed.) My team showed up at my house within the estimated time frame. When they left (about 4 hours later) my house was immaculate. Hands down the best cleaning service Ive experienced in my 10+ years of utilizing a cleaning service! I knew the first cleaning was estimated to cost significantly more and I am happy to pay for it after I saw the results. Good thing the ongoing service it’s going to cost a lot less. It is an investment in peace of mind and you will get your moneys worth.

I have been using Maids By Trade since about 2004 (when they were Northwest Cleaning Service). They do a really good job; better than any other cleaning service Ive used (and Ive been using house cleaners since 1985). They will take care of specific small requests outside of the standard routine service; all it takes is an email to their office the day prior to their scheduled cleaning. Their customer service has always been top notch. On occasion I have had to change the regular day/date, and they have always flexibly accommodated my change of plans. Over the years, a few things have been broken by the cleaning crew, which is to be expected. Once the cleaning crew broke an extending kitchen faucet, they arranged for a plumber to come out that day and replace the faucet with an identical one. I didnt even have to ask them to take care of this -- it was handled before I even knew it happened. I wholeheartedly recommend Maids By Trade for a reliable, quality cleaning service.

I have to say that Maids By Trade does an incredible job. The cleanings are exceptional and thorough; when they dust, they dust everything; even the light fixtures and tops of window frames. They are always honest about their pricing and times. If you are not going to be home while they clean, no need to worry with these guys, theyre completely trustworthy and its so nice to come home to a clean place. My house is cleaned every two weeks and they always arrive within the two hour time frame promised. The owners also work with their employees, not just back in the office and give them jobs to do, which I think makes the company even better. I love the fact that they use green products and what is best, is that their products are made in the Portland area. They sure take pride in supporting the local economy. I highly recommend them for their quality cleaning, their professionalism, and their commitment to a better environment.

After trying two other "popular" local cleaning companies (one lost our cat after repeatedly being asked not to leave doors open, and the other triple charged us, and then had the nerve to ask us to cover the fees when our bank--attempting to protect us--blocked the transactions), we were SO THRILLED to finally find Maids by Trade. Their work is consistent and professional, and we have loved our team (#15!), and that we have the same crew each time. I think the best aspect of MBT, however, is that if there is ever a problem (however minor), they are quick to take responsibility and fix things, and their receptionists are kind and easy to work with. We have not found that to be true of any other companies we have used. We own two businesses and have three animals and a toddler boy, so believe me when I say, finally having great cleaning team has made a huge difference in our lives!

Weve been using Maids By Trade for the past 5 years and have been very pleased with the service. Once a regular service is established they try to send the same crew when they can, which is nice because every house and family has their own unique needs. A recent extended family members illness required us to miss a few scheduled cleanings but MBT worked with us to keep up with cleanings as best we could. We have found their people to be very trustworthy, consistent and thorough. We appreciate that they are able to keep our house so clean using eco friendly products - much healthier! When we had some interior painting done recently the guy actually remarked at how unusual it was to run his finger over our door frames and find them virtually dust free. Even we had no idea the crew was doing THAT good of a job!

We hired Maids by Trade, which is a Portland-born company, one year ago when we first moved into our new home. We have been very happy with their service. They are punctual and thorough. (The main office is also easy to reach and will move a cleaning if, say, your parents are coming to stay and you really need the place polished.) It is an absolute pleasure to come home once a month to a mopped and dusted house with sparkling bathrooms. A cleaning service is a splurge for us, but with two full-time professional jobs to manage, it has been worth every penny. Thank you Claudia G and Maribel!
