Several poor experiences here, please read. Initially I had excellent customer service, and felt like I was being taken care of. I loved their "detail for life" program as well, but as time went on the value in their work quickly diminished... They didnt repair a marker light the first time, so I had to take the car back in for that, kind of a pain. Then a few months later I had a check engine light come on. Took it into the dealership instead this time, and they told me the air filter was never put back into the vehicle. So thats horrible right! Driving around without an air filter for months has done an immeasurable amount of damage. McCollums at least paid for that visit and replacement of the air filter the dealership did for me, when I probably shouldve asked for more than that... So at this point Im thinking and trying to be nice about it, people make mistakes, they tried to make it right, but Im still pissed my car could have issues down the road caused by such a rookie mistake of not replacing the air filter. Then finally what really tipped me over the edge is my experience today. I scheduled a detailing of the car a week an advance, because I have the "detail for life" and while it was in there I was going to have a headlight replaced that went out. My wife shows up for the appointment a little early, and was told 1.5 hours and itll be done. Great, she walks down the road, comes back an hour later and the car isnt even in the shop, and shes told itll be at least another 1.5 hours. Well thats not acceptable, were busy people and cant wait around for 3 hours for a simple job. Very little remorse from that counter person, and when I called in I got an apology from Emily. My wife then got a call from the Auto Body guys saying theyd comp the headlight if she wanted to come back, because their tech just got side tracked at the time. Well Im sorry, At this point Id rather pay for service elsewhere. If you want POTENTIALLY shotty work done, a "detail for life" that is poorly scheduled and is done in an untimely manner, McCollums your place! Sad too, I really wanted to like these guys, but just cant with everything thats happened...

I took my car here originally because another body shop had done some shoddy work and hidden some damage on my car. So I took it to McCollums after I talked to them about the problem. Got the car back, drove it off the lot and it immediately started creaking and squeaking. I Told Reed, one of the service managers, about the problem and he told me it was settling. Okay... so I drove it for another 2 days, called back and tell him its still doing it. Now he tells me that its probably my bushings. Only issue is that my bushings were replaced before the accident and before they worked on it it, so that wasnt possible... and if it is a bushing then it was damaged in the accident and they should fix it. Reed wasnt awesome at customer service, infact hes severely lacking customer service skills. I then call the owner and eventually got his brother Joey to drive with me in the car. He admitted that it was creaking and that something needed to be done. He told me to call him the next day. I call him the next day and left a message. Called a week later and he wasnt there so I left another message. Called 2 weeks later, hes still not there. Called three weeks later, left a message for any owner to actually get back to me, but still nothing. Finally I get a call back from Dave jr. Dave proceeded to tell me every excuse in the world about why they havent called me back. Dave jr, the owner is also lacking in customer service skills. He put me down on the phone verbally, he rambled on about his own problems and he even went as far as to tell me that he put me low on the priority list. Not a good shop, bad customer service.

Terrible customer service!!!! Took my truck to them last summer and got it back looking ok, but when i parked it at home and went to go somewhere there was oil all over my drive way..The truck never leaked, upon inspection, the oil filter was barely hanging on. I tightened it and got on the road, when I went to turn on the AC it blew hot air. I called into complain they told me the oil filter was my fault and they forgot to charge the AC..They never even looked at the rattling in my dash.. Fast forward to this summer: Tried to give them a second chance when somone pulled out in front of me. After taking a week and a half, it was determined totaled, but I needed to clean it out and pull the lumber rack off of it...I was told they would tow it to my house, but at 3:30 in the afternoon I heard nothing. I called and got a story about the tow truck suddenly breaking down, and they would drive it down to the 82nd shop from the vancouver location. Once I got to the 82nd location the guys there told me it had been there since that morning, HUH? So I drove it home and it wasnt driving right. I opened the hood, which they didnt even tie down, the battery was dangling by the wires with the positive up against the motor!!! Upon more investigation I found that for some reason they had removed the face plate to the stereo, but it was nowhere to be found....I called, talked to Dave Jr and got all the run around, and got nothing.....Still waiting for the call back on what happened to the face plate...Thanks McCollums!!! I wouldnt trust these guys to even wash a car
