This is beyond frustrating. The only reason Im sticking with this memberships is because every other gym that is open for 24 hours within any reasonable radius has about the same if not worse conditions we comments. Is this really the lesser of evils? Disappointing. My problems with this gym are pretty basic stuff that they are NEVER on top of. This gym has * NO HOT WATER EVER. GET READY TO SHAVE AND/OR SHOWER IN COLD OR BARELY WARM WATER. * DO YOU GUYS HAVE A THING AGAINST TOILET SEAT COVERS!!!? BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER ONCE SEEN ONE HERE. YOU HAVE A DISPENSER FOR THEM, HOW ABOUT FILLING IT!? IM NOT KIDDING. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A TOILET SEAT COVER IN THIS FACILITY IN ALL THE TIME IVE BEEN HERE. AND TWICE THERE HAS BEEN NO TOILET PAPER AT ALL! IN ADDITION TO HAVING NO COVERS. *THE SOAP DISPENSER ALMOST ALWAYS HAS 1 OR 2 EMPTY AND THE SENSORS ON THE SINK (WHICH ALSO ONLY HAVE COLD WATER) DONT ALWAYS WORK WELL. *STAFF HAS RESPONDED TO MY QUESTIONS WITH "I DONT KNOW," SO MANY TIMES. OR REFER ME TO SOMEONE ELSE WHO OBVIOUSLY ISNT WORKING. * THEY NEED TO TRAIN THEIR STAFF BETTER. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO BEING ON TOP OF BASIC THINGS LIKE FILLING DISPENSERS AND TOILET PAPER. SO OFTEN THEYRE JUST BEHIND THE COUNTER HUNCHED OVER THEIR PHONE WITH THEIR BACK TURNED TO THE FRONT DOOR WASTING TIME, RATHER THAN BEING ATTENTIVE TO THE GYM. Pros: *The staff doesnt seem very competent in doing their jobs, but they are nice for the most part. *The gym is otherwise clean enough. *Equipment works fine. *Its never been crowded, although due to the cons list and reviews Ive read, I can see why.

What is not to like about getting fit? The business of getting your ass up off the couch and going to work out is about the only thing that is not desirable about working out. I have $20 and some change deducted from my bank account every month to pay my fees at Planet Fitness. And I can go to any Planet Fitness in the country as many times as Id like. For $20 and some change I have unlimited access to Tammy. Which is cheaper than going to one of those tanning salons. So if all you want to do is stand, it would be cheaper to buy yourself a Planet Fitness membership then to go to any tanning salon. They also have massage chairs here but you know theyre not all that great. Im not saying that theyre bad but theyre not the best. And then they have a hydro massage bed. HydroMassage bed is a little bit too hot for me. And oh yes. They have lots of work out equipment. And theyre open 24 hours most days. They usually close on Christmas and New Years Fourth of July xcetera. But they usually open really early the next day.

I enjoyed the location. When I tried to cancel my account (due to moving), they said I would have to go in to the location to do so or write a letter (what?). They suggested I change my home gym online and then Id be able to go into a closer location. When I went to change my home gym, there ended up being a 90 day period where you cant make changes to your account, including cancelation. Good thing I caught that in the fine print before pulling the trigger. The whole point was to stop payment and with only 2 months left, this would have made me have to renew and keep my subscription and add a hefty ETF with it just being renewed. I had to go all the way back out there in a 2 day window to cancel my subscription when it ended. Good location. I enjoyed the gym, but my customer service experience was lackluster. Definitely a hassle to cancel if you move unless you change your home gym 90 days BEFORE it ends.

I joined planet fitness in December 2015. December 2016 I called in to see if my black card membership would automatically cancel or renew. I was told I would be charged until February of 2017 and then it would cancel, I was fine with that because it was a contract I agreed to, obviously. Feb 1st I got the annual fee of 39.00, I was upset to say the least. When I called they kept telling me it was standard and I could speak to the manager the next day. Called in today, February 2nd, spoke to Rachel, she apologized, told me she would refund the fee and explained their contract for if I ever sign up again. I appreciate Rachels help but a little frustrated with the misinformation.

I like working out here! They have a good trainer now who seems to know what hes doing. Staff are always friendly if you need them, but arent hovering either. I do with they were a little more involved. I know Planet Fitness prides themselves on being for beginners/judgement free. However. There are a ton of so called "lunks" at this gym it seems like. Once I was there and they set off the stupid "lunk alarm" at least 6 times on the same person instead of finally going over and saying something to the person making all the noise. Still. Equipment works, and no one bugs you. They have pizza night on Mondays which I hate as Im trying to loose weight, but to each their own.

Its a racket. I called in to cancel my membership, since I had a new gym that was closer to my home, and they couldnt cancel my membership by phone. I had to go into the gym and cancel. I guess they figure they can get an extra month or two out of you if your required to go in, since the biggist reason people cancel gym membership is because well.... they arent going there. They even said if I was to far away to get in to cancel Id have to send them proof in the form of a bill or rental agreement. Facility was good and clean when I was there, they just have no customer service, and they are willing to take your money even after you have verbally told them not too.

Opened a membership they never input my routing or account right!! Brought in a check twice!! They put my account on "hold". I called to try to give them my information and pay whatever I owed but they said I had to take it to them again. They told me the fees would be waived and just had to pay my balance of $90 in person they told me my account was on hold and couldnt work out till fixed!! I Told them I would like to just pay the balance then! Now I am being charged $300 since it seems like they really never did have me on hold like they said!!! Charging money every month when I cant even work out or go in!!!

Joining Planet Fitness is an idiot level exercise, they give you exactly what they promise, they tell you everything up front, and you input the info yourself on an iPad. If youre having issues or are disappointed, I really feel for you. Life must be pretty tough if you find this complicated. I dont know how it could be any easier but people will find reasons to be outraged. You pay $10 and you work out for a month with NO CONTRACT. It is cheaper than a large hamburger combo to work out for a month. This gym is not for power lifting and everyone knows this so please stop acting surprised.
