Our agent was Frank Thierjung. We could not have asked for a better agent than Frank. With Franks help, my wife and I just purchased our first home. We were nervous about the process, but Frank helped us through. He was always available to answer questions, no matter what day or time of day. I just cant say enough how much we appreciated this quality in Frank. He would either pick up the phone or get back to us immediately (typically within minutes). Same with texts and emails. And I never felt like Frank was trying to get off the phone; he was great. We also benefited from Franks experience and knowledge of the area. Were not originally from McMinnville, so Frank really guided us and helped us a find a house in a neighborhood we love. He also gave us a lot of guidance negotiating price and conditions of the sale. This was a grueling process buying a house in this market. It took us eight months to finally get the house we really wanted, but Frank stuck with us the whole way. He was always positive and ready and willing to work. I highly recommend Frank and would recommend him to any friend or family member. Thanks Frank!

If I could add more stars I would as my husband and I are so happy with the service we received from this office. From start to finish, Peter was an absolute blessing for us. We have had several real estate transactions and each time, we always felt as though our needs were second to the agents making their commission. With Peter and his staff, this was definitely not the case. He was genuinely interested in our needs and did all he could to help us. He was truly a special agent and we feel very fortunate to have found him and his agency. The entire process was great and we highly recommend Coldwell Banker. In addition to the kindness of all involved in the sale of our house, when you buy with Coldwell Banker, you have handyman service for life and it is a wonderful service. We had need of them a few times and we found the handymen who came to be very courteous and timely (not something easily said for several other "repair" people). As we said, we highly recommend this firm and thank them for their genuine kindness.

We were charged a 200 dollar plus fee but it was not stated up front--only when it came to signing. Imagine our surprise! Our realtor was the laziest Ive seen--only a few pics, had to bug him about doing an open house (and even then he openly bitched about having to spend his saturday there). Dont know if Richard Barnes is still a realtor with this firm, but I strongly advise against using him or coldwell banker in Salem. Be aware that the handyman who comes out WILL try and sell you things "for your own good". In the end, we switched to another company and the house sold within a month. Let our pain be a lesson for all!

We were dealing with Mountain West Real Estate through their buyers on our property. Worst experience ever. They refused to negotiate, were hard to deal with, and their agents were RUDE (we had dealings with 2 different Realtors). After finally agreeing on a deal, their buyers ended up not being able to get a loan. Now our house has been off the market for 30+ days, we have to re-list, and are potentially going to lose the house we have made an excepted offer on. Do yourselves a favor and avoid any interactions with them. A huge waste of time.

Re: Post on July 22, 2010. My review on March 16, 2010 is not false. I purchased bare land using a CBMW agent in 2005. My husband and I paid a $295 fee for handyman repairs. I later did associate myself with CBMW as an agent, and also saw them charge some of my clients those same fees - many of which I paid myself. I wouldnt call myself a disgruntled competitor. I now work for a company that doesnt charge any extra fees at all, which is the way I choose to do business.

Unproffesional, I still to this day have not received my deposit back or a letter why I never received it. My room mate was on drugs and endangering my life and my daughters but the landlord would not and did not listen or care about the problems I was facing. They sent notices in the mail that clearly violated their own lease and landlord tenant laws. If you do rent from them make sure you know your laws.

I asked to get a realtor so they put Danny Enos on the line. We chatted for almost 10 minutes about what my situation is, what Im for, etc. He promised that he and his wife (also a realtor) would get started on finding some properties and send them my way. That was over two weeks ago. He hasnt called or emailed since we first spoke.
