I needed two tires, plus my spare wheel was wrecked. Just my luck. Had to get my car towed there on a flatbed. Needless to say, I was quite frustrated! Didnt bother Jake (the manager), though - he was very patient and clearly knows what hes talking about. The new tires were cheaper than at other big chains, which is always a plus - and I do mean "new" (as in they hadnt been sitting on a rack for months). Once they looked at the car thoroughly, Jake called and quoted me a fair bit more than I had seen online. Turns out my car actually needed various other services. With winter coming to Pennsylvania and its "roads," Id have been foolish to say no. Ordinarily I dont appreciate "up-selling," but for some reason the online quote didnt include services such as road hazard coverage - would be nice if it did, because adding that coverage is a no-brainer (why do you think I needed tires in the first place?) - so Id recommend going in or at least calling and talking to someone because theyll give you a better idea of what charges to expect than the Midas website will. All said, I got two high-end tires mounted and balanced, two TPMS rebuilds, and a 4-wheel alignment for only about $75 more than a big chain store quoted for tires + installation alone. Jake even offered to fix my spare wheel (basic 16" 5-lug steelie) free of charge, but it was too damaged. Oh well, thats my problem, not theirs. Drive carefully, people! Overall, a great experience. Ive had bad experiences at other national tire chains, such as one shop not bothering to tell me my rims were badly flat-spotted and needed resurfaced (but they happily sold me tires anyway...how nice.) No BS with these guys. Jake and AJ are super friendly and will take care of you and your vehicle, even if youre clearly having a not-so-great day. Im recommending this Midas location to my family when they need tires, and Ill definitely be back myself if need be.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Took my car for an oil change and they ended up giving me a list of costly repairs that needed to be done. Off of the list, I decided to get my brake light replaced since that was something I could be pulled over for. They charged me for the oil change and the brake light but as I drove away, I noticed that the brake light dashboard light was still on. Turns out they charged me for something they did not actually replace! Plus, instead of writing when my next oil change needs to be on the sticker, they wrote what my current mileage was and that days date! About a week later, I drove 10 miles and the car started acting up. At highway speeds, I felt a vibrations that were never there before I went to Midas. I got to my destination and the car would not start back up. I decided to get a second opinion on the rest of the items on the list they gave me. The second mechanic told me that Midas placed the wrong oil filter size and oil was leaking heavily. He also told me that all my tire pressures were only at 20 psi even though Midas documented that they adjusted it to 32 psi. Bunch of amateurs. Go to PepBoys instead!!

After over $750 in "repairs," which most of it was labor costs (about 2 hours!), my car ended up in worse shape than when I dropped it off. Called a few times, no answer or answering machine. Left an online inquiry and received no response. I finally took it in without calling and they wanted to charge me another $250 just for additional diagnostics, so I left. Overall a poor experience and very disappointed with the service at Midas. There are numerous other mechanics nearby that have much better service at better prices. The mechanic I went to after this one only charged me $150 (labor AND parts), and my car has been in excellent condition since then. Avoid Midas in Bryn Mawr at all costs. They will position some sort of Midas line of credit so that you can pay for the outrageous prices, so Id recommend avoiding that too.

Took it in for an oil change and inspection. Ended up not doing the inspection because they said things needed to be done that I know didnt(and every place since then has said is fine). They completely messed up my oil change. I drove away and only got about a mile before my engine was smoking everywhere and my car wouldnt accelerate. Took it back and they claimed the system told them the wrong amount of oil to put in it. Since then my engine has been acting strange and there have been several different issues. They didnt refund me for my oil change or offer anything for their HUGE mistake. I would never recommend going their or ever take my car back.

These guys were very helpful. I came in 30 minutes after they were closed and needed to replace my headlight. The store manager was still there and was running late for a date. He had already sent in the daily report to corporate, but was patient enough to take care of me. The maintenance worker who was still there installed the light himself. It was a little more expensive than I thought (at $25), but their service was so great that I thought it was worth it. They also gave me a free oil change as an incentive to come back. I would recommend this place so much that not only would I return, I am taking a few minutes to write this review.

I went to get my oil changed on a Tuesday afternoon. I scheduled the appointment ahead of time and showed up on time to drop the car off. After giving them the keys, I proceeded to sit in the waiting room. I remained in that seat for AN HOUR. My car was just sitting there and 1/3 of the staff seemed to be having a nice afternoon conversation. I didnt even bother asking when they would be getting to my simple oil change. I asked for the keys back and left, to which they only replied "oh, sorry". It looks like nobody there understands how to run a business. I do not recommend going there.

Was able to make an appointment for an oil change online, got an email confirmation, and they open at 7:30 AM making it possible to come before work easily. Also, Ive been to some chains where they really give you the hard sell every oil change that you need $200 more work done to your car, I appreciated that they gave me a couple suggestions, but didnt pressure me when I said I just wanted to oil change.

I am surprised to see all the negative reviews on here. I have grown to love this place. Once they put air in my tire free of charge. I also drove up with a flat tire and no appointment and they put on the spare in about 5 minutes and didnt charge me. Ive had routine maintenance/inspection and I can always get a next-day appointment. Everyone is friendly and helpful and professional.

I highly recommend the Midas in Brynmawr, Pa Jake and the crew that work there are as professional as you can get and know what they are doing. I brought them an after market racing muffler to install on my pick up truck and they had to custom fit the muffler for it to work and did an amazing job. I will be going back for future work. Paul
